First time back in 8 years and I don't ever want to go back we paid for all of our food and yes my husband may have went for a salad with a regular Chuck E. Cheese plate instead of the white one we purchased (along with the rest of our almost $200 food order and $250 game card purchase) and the store manager approached my husband in a rude way yelling at him about a he has to have a white plate. He told her he didn't appreciate how she was yelling and it was unprofessional and she could come see our receipt and the stuff we ordered and she followed him over talking crap to him infront of my kids and other people! If I could give them no stars I would... My daughter had her 7th birthday at the Pinole location yesterday and it was awful. I can accept that it took a rediculously long time to get the tokens, we had to ask 3 times to get the bonus 100 for booking on a Sunday, a really long time to get the food we ordered in advance and also forgot to bring us cups for the drinks, but the rest of it was a nightmare that shouldn't of happened. Twice they announced the ticket drop where Chuck E. Cheese comes out to great the kids and throw free tickets around while we were there. The first time they couldn't get the door unlocked where 'Chuck E' was supposed to come out of. People were running around trying to figure out the combination and apparently no one has a key, by the time they did get it open and a team member went in to put on the rat suit the music had long ended and when he did walk around no one followed with any tickets. The second time it was announced the kids again waited outside the door, again everyone frantically ran around and again after the music ended they just told all the kids "Sorry Chuck E isn't coming and to go back to their tables" How that could be continually suprised by their own events eludes me... Finally it was time for the birthday celebrations. Believe it or not Chuck E showed up this time. The performance happened, I lit the candles and she blew them out. I cut the cake and handed it out to our guests but there were no forks. We looked for our hostess, who was no where to be found, so I went and grabbed a handful from the salad bar so the kids could eat their cake. Then it was time for the ticket blaster. The had my daughter get in and they closed the door. Then they spent 10 minutes trying to figure out why it wouldn't turn on. Again there was a lot of running around, tinkering with things, trying to get it to work, she started to cry and asked to get out but right then it finally started and as she cried she caught about 10 tickets. When she got out the person who opened the door grabbed a few more from the floor and gave them to her. In our past experiences there was always a 1000 super ticket in the booth and some other smaller super tickets. Not this time. With a ticket stuck to the tears on her cheek she sat back down at our table... If all of that wasn't enough the place was grose. As we walked around the games there were used plastic serving gloves on the floor that were there all 3 hours we were there and never cleaned up. The salad bar looked like someone threw up thousand island dressing all over it and the bathroom was filthy. All the place needed was a few used syringes and condoms on the floor and we could have been under a freeway overpass in San Francisco except with games. Not once did anyone apologies for the endless problems and company fails that occured. Our server never asked if we had fun and if everything went well. Truly pathetic. You should be ashamed of yourselves for the way you treat you customers and their children on their special day. OK, so I'm not a huge fan of chuck e cheese in general. Unhealthy food plus crowds plus paying money to play with dirty toys. But what was I to say when my three-year-old asked that Chuck e cheese be her prize for going to the bathroom on her own? (She can do it, but recently has been choosing to play and have accidents rather than go to the bathroom and miss out on play time). So we ventured to this chuck e cheese and I was rather surprised by how fun our time was there. She had a blast and $20 for pizza and 35 tokens was not bad (we used a coupon). Also, their all you can eat salad bar for 5.49 (another coupon) was great for me! I was surprised that they had pretty good salad options including romaine lettuce, hard boiled egg, bacon, ham, beets (a personal favorite), broccoli, mushrooms, croutons, and five kinds of dressing. This place never appealed to me as I always heard about random fights and it didn't look clean ever from the outside. BUT we drove by one day and my kids asked to go in and there were a ton of new looking arcade games. We really liked it! The person at the front desk said it was just renovated and it was clean and tidy and the games were super fun (my kids are 5) but there was a wide variety for different ages. Where do I begin? Staff at the front door smoking right in front of the building. The machines that take credit card were out. There is no Parmesan in site and no helpful servers, despite requesting they help me locate the Parmesan multiple times. The lettuce at the salad bar was brown. That's for starts. Perhaps the worst part of our trip was when our son fed 738 tickets in the machine just to have the manager, Ed, turn the machine off before we could print the ticket! And then pretend he didn't see us or hear the machine as if that's an excuse. He then gruffly told us he announced they were closing twice. My kid loves the place. Pros...its enclosed, you must be stamped along with your kid, so no kid is leaving without an adult with a matching black light stamp. Which is awesome if you have a toddler who is a runner like mine who has selective listening. Lots of games to choose from, you can get a token card and use that instead of carrying around tokens/$. Cons, the food is very blah but the price to feed a toddler is great. The prizes are very high priced considering you spent $ on the games. Some of the games weren't working. I counted it every time it would take my credit and either malfunction or just not start at all. I counted 10 separate occasions. For example: the train wouldn't move, tried 2x to play air hockey and it didn't have a puck, the Jurassic Park just stopped out of no where.. etc I just moved to the next game because we only had an hour to be there. I'm not going to keep telling an attendant 10x. I would be wasting my time there. So I decided to wait until the end. I talked to the young black girl in front. I had to wait cuz she was talking to her friends not paying attention. I told her what happened and asked her if I can get refunded my 10 credits nicely. She looked at me with no smile like I was dumb. She said she can only give me 3 credits and that I should have called them. I told her to ones I remember and I said let me talk to the manager. The manager asked which games I told him the one I remembered and I said "it's just Chuck E. Cheese It's not that big of a deal. Good morning , although it is very difficult for me to have to contact chuckecheese customer service for the first time ever for multiple reasons this year I would have to share my experience this time because it was very hard for us. We went on 11/17/22 for my daughters 4th and while we were barely getting situated there was a situation that out broke between a few employees, I'm pretty sure if the cameras are working you will be able to see the altercation I don't think it's at all appropriate for a child environment to have the language and that type of personal problems happen while children are present nevertheless during a birthday party that is supposed to be special. Aside from this very unpleasant experience my two children have been affected with a high fever and diarrhea a few days after having attended this particular chuckecheese. We constantly visit this company all over the Bay Area but we felt like this time we'd like to try this location, all the machines handles were very filled with grease upon touch. I'm not sure if it was from earlier that day but we specifically chose a time and day where we knew it was not going to be busy at all so that my children could enjoy the machines. And while it was not busy whatsoever there may have been around two more families in the entire facility, I don't think that there was any sanitation nor any cleaning methods were up to date on this specific time or day, or at least during our 3 hours visit resulting in my children being very sick. They're pediatrician suggests that this could have been from picking up bacteria from this visit. I'm just very upset that this specific visit left us with such things and such a different experience than every single other time while visiting a chuckecheese. I hope that by me sharing this experience this location will be able to work on a few things that are very critical to children's safety starting from physical altercation that could have ended horribly wrong in the presence of children all the way to the safety and the importance of Maintaining a clean sanitized environment SAFE for children. read more

There are a few places that make me, a relatively mild mannered sane person FAREAK the FECK OUT. I hyperventilate, sweat, itch and if not able to evacuate, will rock in a fetal position while humming tunes from Les Miserables. Big Lots does this to me. Wal-Mart does this to me. And as I most recently discovered much to my poor toddler's heartbreak, Chuck E Cheese does this to me. I do not know if the food is good as we only got to the front of the hand stamp line after waiting 45 minutes, they do offer salad and buffalo wing options for those that don't want pizza which is nice. I do not know if the games are fun and entertaining, although based on the swarms upon swarms of the coughing sneezing sweaty children EVERYWHERE I think it was fun and entertaining. I do not know if the facility is clean, although I did not see trash anywhere and everything looked pretty clean from where I was standing. I do not know how great the service is once inside but I can say that the employees seemed available and pleasant from my 45 minutes in the hand stamp line. I remember when Chuck E Cheese used to be located in the Pinole Vista Shopping Center back in the mid 80's. Good times back then..forward 25 years and things have changed. More video games, rides and shows and seems like Chuck E Cheese kicked out his band mates from what I remember. Came here with my bro in law, sister and niece to watch my niece go nuts in this place. It's funny watching my niece including the other kids go bonkers because there is so much games and rides the kids don't know where to start. For food we ordered the combo appetizers and combo medium pizza. The appetizers was just horrible period. The mozzarella sticks were nasty and french fries were a bit cold. The chicken wings are below par and the only thing I enjoyed for the appetizer plate was the celery sticks. Next came the pizza, all I can say is YUCK in BOLD 72 font New Times Roman. I can't believe they feed the kids and adults with this kind of crappy food. Let s just say I didn't feel well after this meal. Lastly, the bathroom, OMG if you need to use the bathroom, I would hold it until you get home. There toilets don't seem to flush and the smell was just horrendous in there. I came in on a Monday afternoon and the place was great!! As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by a young lady stamped our hands and then she took our order. We just got a regular pizza and a soda (refills) and it didnt take long for it to come out.. It was empty an almost every ride was available, im sure because it was Monday around 3pm but my 3 year old had fun going in the play structure and playing in the back towards the kiddy area. For a family fun center the service is horrible and the restrooms are disgusting! Party service is extremely slow and I had to constantly remind our host to do simple task such as take the trash away, bring more cups, and soda. All the ticket counting machines (except for 1) were broken. All 4 of the womens toilets were clogged. And some were missing toilet paper and seat covers. I had to make 2 complaints about the restrooms in the 2 hours that I was there. The manager (an older caucasian woman with short hair) quickly responded by saying "That's because the county won't give us better toilets." And I replied by saying "If you had better employees doing regular bathroom checks maybe it wouldn't be an issue." The family & I were pulling into Best Buy to check out the Black Friday deals when we noticed the glowing lights of what looked like a casino, oh wait, it was Chuck E Cheese. Normally, Chuck E Cheese would not be on my list of things to do, but since I wasn't really dressed warmly enough for the next place on our list (the tilden xmas carousel) I suggested that we stop in and check it out. The place was glowing, shiny & new. We had already eaten dinner, so my husband ordered the salad bar & ordered some milk for the kid. We own a cafe, and when we were looking over the place we had speculated that the place opened today because you could tell the shiny new floors had never been mopped. This was later confirmed. We bought $10 worth of tokens and went to town. My son LOVED it. There is a 'smaller' kid section with rides appropriate for 2-5 year olds as well as games at little people height. I got down on my knees several times to play as some of the games were enticing. No disgusting ball pit --- but they did have this fun tube maze thing that was up on the ceiling! My son was a little intimidated by it, but would go up. It was nice that it was mostly occupied by younger kids, although some big kids would converge on it occassionally. The thing I was most impressed with? Staff -- Very well trained for a first day, and every encounter with an employee was first rate. They were polite & courteous (even though they looked like kids!). The other impressive thing was the attention to safety. When you walk in there is a Purell Stand (not mandatory) and they give you an invisible stamp. When you leave, the use a black light to make sure the kid you are taking is yours. I also saw the manager escort two scary looking dudes out -- saying that this was a place with children and that if they didn't have kids with them the had to leave. That attention made me like the place and feel like we have a great new addition to West County that all families can enjoy! read more

Went there on a Sunday around 6pm. It was VERY DIRTY!! No toilet paper in the bathroom. No napkins on the table. Garbage ALL over the floor. Seriously it was everywhere! Salad bar was messy and food all over the floor. It stayed like that the whole time we were there. Girl at the register was busy on her phone and talking to a friend before she could help us. Pizza was not that good. We went to spend time with our children and grand daughter while they were visiting. Thought it would be nice but it was very dirty. Tables were left messy the whole time. Wish I could leave no stars Forgot to add that we had 8 people in our party and we sat at the table. A little while later a manager looking person came and told us we could not sit there because it was all reserved. But it had no sign. She said they ran out of signs. Told us to sit in a booth I looked around and could find anywhere for us all to sit. Everything was "reserved". I saw the big manage and complained to her. She told us it was ok to sit there. I do not look forward to returning here. The employee attitudes varied from mildly interested to non-committal. There was vomit on the floor on the general path from gaming area to restrooms. Adults stepping over it and unattentive kids stepping in it. I counted 3 employees notice it while walking past but it stayed there for at least 20 minutes. The skee-ball game area was a joke. With all the kids and grown adults cheating by climbing onto the machine and dropping balls into the highest scoring slot, why not just give away free tickets instead? This place is always crowded every time I come here. Trash every where and the girl's bathroom with no mirrors looks disgusting. The toilets and the bathroom floor are dirty. I think that the workers should do a bathroom check and float around in the restaurant often. Although their food are ok but not that great. It's been a good fifteen years since I've stepped foot inside a Chuck E Cheese. As I entered, there was a hostess that controls the foot traffic and makes sure no little kids leave the premise, which I thought is a nice safety precaution. I'm 23 and was inside a Chuck E Cheese on a Saturday night, the joys of unemployment and sobriety. After a few minutes, I broke my three days of sobriety and bought a beer. I came in about two hours before closing and the place was a mess. I can only imagine the poor people that have to get on their hands and knees to clean up the mess. Anyway, I came to play some games and have some fun. A lot of the games were out of tickets or simply not working, which I felt was odd since this place is still fairly new. Regardless, there was plenty of games to play and have a good time. I can't comment on the food since I didn't try their signature pizza, but I did wait about five minutes to order a Bud Light beer. The price was reasonable for a 20oz beer, which was about $5.50. The prizes are a joke, you need at least a thousand tickets for something worth keeping. This location is quite new, didn't even know it existed until a friend brought her son here for a bday party. I booked a party for my son's 7th bday online, and received additional free tokens as a bonus! It's larger than all the other locations around the Bay. The hostess kindly greeted me & explained the party's agenda; however, the newer generation has no concept of work ethics. Minutes later, she was texting at another table...hmmm! Keep in mind that Chuck E Cheese is known for entertaining, not the food LOL! If you decide to order more food, do it at the beginning of the party; otherwise, it'll take them forever. I literally thought they swam across the Pacific Ocean to bring additional food i.e., sandwich trays, fries, pizzas, buffalo wings, sodas, etc. At one point, I thought Chuck E Cheese was inebriated while entertaining another table, as he/she wobbled their way back to the break room. We came here on a weekday to celebrate my nephews birthday. It was my first time at this new location, but I do remember Pinole had a CHUCK E CHEESE back in the day on the other side of Fitzgerald. This one seems a lot more spacious than the Fairfield location. There were other parties but it was not crowded since it was mid week. Thank goodness. But it was fun seeing all the kiddies enjoy themselves. It's definitely a place where a kid can be a kid, and that goes for grown ups too....Let loose and have fun with the games =) We ordered pizza and wings. We went to our nephews 3rd birthday celebration. The children enjoyed themselves. The party was organized by Chuck E. Cheese (CEC) , which can be costly, but the staff was kind, professional and organized. The best benefit of reserving a party with them is a table/space for your party because you can buy food and tokens at anytime. They had more than enough games to keep our 3-7 year old group occupied, as well as a few of their older siblings around 11-12 years old who monopolised the basketball hoops and skee ball. All the children loved the ticket games and the meager prizes they received. I had a ball watching them have fun. Their pizza is okay, better than Pizza Hut (not saying much), but not a place I'd order pizza from for movie night. I use to love this place because they would not allow you to walk out without hassle if you and your child did not have matching hand stamps. I entered without mine or my child hand being stamped, my choice, because he was 18 days and definitely not leaving me sight. My 18 month old nephew came with his mom and her hand was stamped, but they didn't even try to stamp his hand. Again, didn't really care because he didn't leave our sight. When we left, the lady was ready with the black light to read our hand stamps, but we waved her off stating we didn't get our hand stamped. She didn't check. On a separate note, a parent "lost" their one year old child for two hours and did not call the police. We thought the child was one of the children that was part of our group, but became concerned when he needed his diaper changed and no one was claiming ownership of the young boy when we asked around. Then, a woman approached someone in our party (I didn't witness this) explaining they lost him for 2 hours. My sis-in-law thinks his mom left him in Chuck E Cheese for 2 hours...I hope not, especially since the hand stamp method is not quite as effective as it use to be. What happened to the singing life-size animals that I remember seeing when I was a child? --- In all actuality... I'm glad they got rid of those, because I remember going to CEC in my childhood and being scared of them! Anyhoos! Things I like about this CEC is that it is a large facility, has lots of games to choose from, and an area for smaller children (2 & up). The food is A-OK. Not great... but Okay. Things they could improve: cleaner bathrooms, enforcing shoes (I know that is kinda difficult, but eeewww... "Parents, please make sure your children have shoes on when they are going into the bathroom... and really... the floor is not clean enough for your children to be walking barefoot. EW."), making sure there is enough staff to check everyone's wrist upon departure... other than that... from my experiences it has been good so far... My son LOVES going to CEC. Ughh chuck e cheese, what do you know - you take the kids for their enjoyment and you spend dollars and dollars on frozen food, fountain drinks and tokens so you can win as much tickets as you can to buy toys (or) treats that you can easily buy elsewhere but hey it's the fun in it. What I dislike about this location are some of the kids that come here who are way too rowdy and rude. Hey kid, if your mom wasn't looking I'd haha JUST KIDDING - but cmon my kid was playing on that wait your turn is all I'm saying. One other thing, I may have OCD but I would prefer if they really just sanitize everything - they probably have this assigned to someone on a daily basis but I think it needs more quality and control. read more

Don't go here.. went there with my daughter after lunch. 80% of the machines were not working. The staffs are courtesy but it was annoying that we can't play the games that we wanted. read more
