Came here for a birthday party. I remember Chuck E Cheese pizza being just horrible. The pizza I had here was significantly better than what I've had at other Chuck E Cheeses. Friendly staff always there to help fix the ticket machines lol. My daughter loves this place we travel from Antioch just to go to this particular one its her favorite the staff is amazing very friendly and always happy. We will be back! 3 years later and my review has changed I took my family here Sunday night and $50 got me a table I had to clean off myself not one table was cleaned off there were no straws,lids no parm cheese or peppers when asked where they're at management made go on a scanvanger hunt.. Searched the whole place and found one cheese and one pepper half empty.. I got a view at the kid cleaning the salad bar with cleaner spraying all the food and when I bought my salad bar they didnt inform me they were about to close it.... And listening to all of them talk about bitches and hoes.. Half the machines didnt give out tickets.. So half my time was finding a worker to give me tickets from the broken machines..Ya not your typical family night this place is ran by kids and you can totally tell management does not care. Was here just about a week or so ago, not very busy which was nice but it was an absolute mess in there like there'd been people in there all day. Tables were dirty. The floor was dirty. Nothing picked up. The salad bar was disgusting. Nothing was restocked at the salad bar. I'd asked for some things to be restocked so I could make my salad and I stood there 15 minutes on purpose and not one employee asked if I needed anything? Nor did I even get a can I help you? Is there something you need? I finally asked and still nothing. I ate lettuce, bell peppers and dressing. Here again today for a birthday party for my niece and nothing was ready. The party started at 3 and nothing was set up. The tables weren't ready, that took another 15 minutes. Really really disappointed in the service and how a well known place such as Chuck E. Loud, Chaos, Kid fun....but the prices are fair, and if you don't go on a weekend, it's a great time with the munchkin to let him go wild and play games.....win prises. The food is terrible, but if you stay away from the Pizza, you can get a decent salad or chicken wings. We don't go for the food, we just go for the fun, and that's worth the price of admission! What a nice treat for the kids!! They had such a great time. The place is really clean. Considering there's five million kids running around. And its nice you can let the kids take off and play. Chuck E himself came out and throw tickets everywhere. That was pretty neat. The food was good soda fountain good. The soda didn't seem to run out. I hate going to get a drink and the soda starts freaking out because it's running out... all I can say is that it was nice to enjoy the kids all around having fun... great place.... love it... This Chuck E Cheese location has gone downhill. I recently visited this location several days ago with family from out of town. We thought it would be a good place to take a 3 year old for his birthday. We ordered a pizza and an appetizer plate around 6:30pm. 1 hour and 15 minutes later still no food - we had hungry adults and kids! When I went to the counter to inquire about our meal the (young) cashier went to the back to check on the status and came back out with a smirk on her face. Miraculously, the pizza came out within 5 mins. It tasted as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. UNACCEPTABLE. The appetizer plate never came out - we eventually demanded a refund and left. What a shame! read more

I recently took my son to chucke cheese in Concord, CA And he got one of the prizes. We actually come here atleast once a week and I spend about $200 everytime. The most expensive prize on the shelf. It was like a nerf gun. Which was 6 thousand tickets. Which according to chucke cheese is equivalent to $60. So I get the prizes for him and we take it home and open it. Then realize it needs batteries. So we put brand new Duracell batteries in. And it doesnt work. So I try another set of batteries. And still doesnt work. I take it back to chucke cheese a few days later and tell them it doesnt work at all and i need to exchange it for another. They told me no. They told me once I leave the building, it's out of their hands. That they will not exchange it for a working one. So I ask them why, it doesnt work. And it's the most expensive prize on the board and it is defective. She, the manager said she doesnt care, she will not change it. And she wont change any prize for anyone. So I asked. How am I supposed to know that the product they are selling me doesnt work, and how am I supposed to know it needs batteries? What am I supposed to bring batteries every where I go? She said that if that makes me feel better I can do that, but if we leave out of the building with a toy. They can do nothing about it. I believe this is fraud. They probably have many toys that dont work. And especially the most expensive ones. They are conning children and parents to spend tickets and money on things that do no work. This really needs to be fixed. I will also be talking to my lawyer about this and also the news so other parents and families know to be careful to purchase anything from here. The pizza was surprisingly good, but it takes 45 mins to an hour to get it. On a Sunday they had on person taking orders and the kitchen is as slow as can be. The tables were uncleaned for 30-40 mins at a time while people needed a place to sit down. There were no garbage cans or bins anywhere. Many arcade games were out of tickets. Instead of the animations they used to have, they have someone in a Chuck E. Cheese costume which is a big nothing. Having said that, it's still a great place for kids. My kids love this place. There are tons of games for kids and adults to play plus pizza and beer! Their key card system is so easy to use and you no longer have to worry about coins getting stuck! They have really upgraded their games as well read more

Chuck E Cheese is not fine dinning but this last visit has me questioning our return. Several games broken and tokens deducted from card with no actual play. A medium pepperoni pizza took 30-40 minutes then they brought us the wrong order. And the bathrooms would make a dive bar proud. Men's urinals stained and in desperate need of thorough cleaning. The floor is amazingly sticky and the paper towel dispenser while full seems to run in a loop and not actually dispense towels. I have a 2 & 5 year old so unfortunately we will return. It's been a couple of months since I was there but I still clearly remember the young man at the front counter. Seemed like we were disturbing him. He was not even slightly polite and made it seem we were interrupting his break. Pizza was just barely mediocre. Everything overpriced!The guy doing the Chuck E. Cheese costume was the high point (African American man). He not only brought out the pizza with a smile, he also was Chuck E. Cheese and interacted nicely with my grandkids. I was going to book a rather large birthday party for my daughter at this location, but I have decided against it since I spoke with one of the employees there. My daughter's half-brother is deathly allergic to all beef and milk products, and because of this, does not eat food made outside of his home. I asked if I could bring in some food that he (and others) could eat that was safe for him. I was planning on purchasing the whole b-day package for all the kids (pizza, etc.), but it's hard on him when there's separate food for him that he has to eat all by himself. He can't even come into contact with beef or milk products because he can die if exposed. I was told by the female employee that they could make a special pizza for him, but that I wasn't allowed to bring in food for anyone else to eat, because they sell veggie platters there. I explained that contamination could occur, and therefore didn't feel it would be safe for him to consume ANY food from Chuck E Cheese. He has been exposed by careless employees of other restaurants on other occasions, and his mother and I simply cannot risk it. She repeated what she had said, and I told her that I would not be hosting my daughter's party there. It's sad that they won't work with people that are trying to protect their children from life-threatening food allergies, especially considering the fact that there are so many children with severe allergies. I might take the kids there to play some games, but I will never reserve a party at a Chuck E Cheese location again. Bad customer service. Honestly though? I'm really not surprised. read more

This location gets a little credit for being clean - which I understand is unusual for Chuck E Cheese in general. I drove to this location from Oakland instead of heading for Hayward or Dublin. That being said... I took my children to this location on Thursday to reward them for some really great days at school. We arrived around 3:00pm. At about 4:00pm, a giggly voice came over the loudspeaker. I looked to where two employees stood, trying to make an announcement. One was obviously a manager/shift supervisor. They could barely get through the announcement because they were laughing rather inappropriately while trying to announce that my car has been broken into. When I approached them to confirm that it was actually my car, they seemed rather nonchalant and unapologetic. I rushed my kids outside to check on the damage. To the credit of the supervisor, she came out with a broom to get the broken glass off of my driver's seat (and then opened and closed the door and sprayed more glass everywhere, giggling). I asked the staff to please call the Concord police, which they didn't do. There were a sum total of 6 kids in the restaurant - I think they could've have made a phone call. I let my kids go back in for a couple minutes after I made some initial phone calls to spend their tokens, and no one was there to redeem all those damn tickets. Kids were sad. I parked next to the building in broad daylight and got my window smashed. Someone was watching me when I was putting valuables away in the car. BEWARE! read more

We took our 6 year old here today for his Birthday and everything was great. We didn't book a party as we only had 3 kids so we went in and got 2 booths for our family and ordered food and brought our own cake. The food took about 40 minutes which we kind of expected as it was winter break and rather busy. The pizza was really good and the wings were good as well. Bottom line, they had a great combo food/token deal and our son and his friends loved it. And no problem about bringing our own cake in at all. Staff was also great. Have been there during busier times and staff has been great then as well. Have seen some not great reviews about this location but this is our 3rd time in the last year and every time has been really good for us so nothing negative to say. My favorite thing about this place is that they stamp both parents and kids and are good about checking when people leave to make sure stamps match. At least the times we've been there they've been really good. Finally, on a past visit my son went to take his ticket from a machine an the door fell open and when we told an employee he gave my son a stack of tickets for being honest. Came here for Sonny's 10th bday. Jus for pizza and games. Typical Chuck E. Cheese's. Busy.. kinda smelly.. but kids always have a good time. Pizza seems to be stepped up. Not as bad as I remembered. Happy they have beer on draft. Makes it more fun for the adults. More likely for me to buy more "tokens" cuz now I wanna play games. Weird that there isn't anymore tokens and they use cards instead. I get it, but still takes away from the OGness of this place. Customer service was very good. Young girls at the register and the door with good attitudes and polite. When we first arrived, I thought the crew could do a better job keeping tables cleaned. Then, a fight broke out in the birthday area. Grown men and women screaming profanities in front of my 5 year old nephew and 5 month old daughter. Will not be coming back and I recommend you really think about it as well. The three times we have been here we have been able to eat once. First time we chalked it up to just a bad day and not being able to keep the buffet stocked. Second time, we went with family and didn't realize how long the food took to be delivered. This past time last week after almost 1.5hours, we asked for our refund after we were told it would take another 30 mins (because "we make our pizzas fresh"). One of the girls then still chimes up and says "but it's already in the oven!". Too bad, give it someone else. When two others saw us complain and get a refund, they followed suit. We went in at 11:30. Paid for 100 tokens and the lunch buffet (which is advertised as running from 11-2). There wasn't any pizza out on the buffet yet but we figured it'd be out soon. We were wrong. After about 20 minutes we asked when pizza would come out and they said really soon. At 12:30 we were done waiting for pizza to come out and asked for our money back. It is ridiculous to advertise a lunch buffet and have nothing out in the hour we were there. Pizza takes less than 15 minutes to cook so I don't understand the problem at all!!! Especially when people came in after us and ordered a pizza for themselves and had no problem getting it. We have done multiple parties at this location and bring our kids regularly to play but we will definitely NOT be returning. I'd rather drive to Brentwood than waste more time and money here. I'm a vet that is partially deaf in one ear. With all the noise in this place I can't hear anything. Apparently they call your number on the speaker overhead when your pizza is ready. Every other Chuck E. Cheese I have been too just sets it on the table and leaves. Not this place! So when I go to my table to grab a drink one of the employee spots me and runs up behind me, grabs me and whips me around like I am her loverboy to tell me "I've called your number 4 times now". First, it's noisy! Second I can't hear anyway! Third, don't touch me!!!!! I seriously had a ballpen in my hand ready to attack her! The pizza was already on the table, she only grabs me to tell me how tough her job was at using the PA system. If she thought the only way to get my attention was to grab me in the first place, then telling me how I neglected to hear her over some announcement is rather redundant! I wanted to commend the staff working Sunday night..May 19th. The manager was very patient with me as I stared and glared at an unfamiliar menu trying to figure out how to order sens things have tremendously changed when In took my kids to chuckee cheese 15 years ago, he made suggestions to help me figure out how to get the most cost effective prives. I must say prices have definitely skyrocketed but I was there 1 hour before closing. Spent about $68 and feel I got my moneyies worth as my grandbaby played, ate her pizza, counted her tickets, and still got her prizes. I want rushed or bothered as it hit 855 and I was wrapping it headed one last time to the salad bar to grab an orange slice my other grandbaby was loving. My son met me there to pick up the kids..they let him in with no worries. We were the last ones out with no complaints!
