This location is really fun! I came here for a friend's 40th birthday party, not really knowing anything about this spot. We parked in a public lot nearby, but there was also plenty of street parking. Apparently free parking on weekends and after 6. They have 15 holes of indoor golf including some of these kind of puzzles like I've seen on Survivor where you have to hold up the board to get the ball in the hole. I think they really use the space well and some of the courses were super challenging. Everything is very open and well decorated, and seems fun for all ages. I didn't get around to playing video games but I saw they had a nice selection of video games and pinball. The party was catered by a local bbq place, not sure what food they serve here. We did get drink tickets but I just drank water. Some friends said they appreciated the beer selection. The service seemed very friendly and nice. read more

Amazing! Was so happy to check out this little spot. It's kid friendly and great for parents! A perfect place to have family fun! the service was great. The people were so nice as soon as we walked in and then let us stay longer once closing time was near. We didn't get to try the food, but hopefully next time we will. Always a fun time! Marteenez has it all!!! Sports on screen and projectors. Beer and wine as well as quite the collection of pin ball machines. They also have an assortment of retro arcade games. The mini golf course is vibrant and unique with fun holes and a setting that can't be beat. I've been here with both large and small groups and it has always been fun for everyone. I went here for the first time on a random Saturday night with a group, and we had such a fun time! It's about $12 per person, and while the course looks small, it's surprisingly challenging and took us over an hour to finish. The glow-in-the-dark, neon setup makes it great for all ages, and they also have a bar, classic arcade games, and even a private party room option that includes mini golf for the whole group, a great deal for events. Serendipitous find! I was looking for something fun to do with my kids, was surprised to see this place popped up on a "mini golf" search. It is all indoors, not too fancy but was still fun. The kids and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner is super nice, easy going young man! Love the vibe, very family friendly, beverage and snacks for kids and adults, a few arcade games available. Definitely a nice calm spot to spend some family time. I'm definitely coming back with my family and thinking of doing a girls night out. This is our second year of stopping by Marteenez Minigolf after visiting the big man in red down the road and it gets better each time. The guy that runs it is super cool and incredibly accommodating of the little ones who might not "get" the rules of the putt putt quite yet, to the point that if we lived in the area, we'd probably host our kids party here. Especially grateful for the new pinball packages this year as we had an infant with us, it's a nice stop where parents and caregivers can have a cold beer and catch up while the kids play pinball. One of THE best local establishments I've ever had the pleasure of working with. My expectations were exceeded!! I can't say enough great things about Marteenez Minigolf. Thank you so much for hosting my son's big 10 here! I was worried the course would be either too small, too boring, or too hard for 10 year olds but I was wrong as it turned out to be the perfect location and the kids including Birthday Boy loved, loved everything about this spot. Not only did the kids love the experience but all the adults were highly impressed! (You know you've hit Gold when you're able to have a party for your 10 year old and his friends, hang out with some adults with a beer while the kids are having a blast without worrying about them getting lost or getting into trouble, AND you can watch your football game at the same time in peace!) Truly a family oriented venue and you can bet that we'd all be back for more! From the start Ryan was quick to respond to my messages and very forthcoming with his answers to my many questions. I sensed his genuineness to wanting to provide a great customer service experience and it made my experience much more pleasant. When I made the final decision to have the party here the planning and scheduling went super smoothly! Then the days leading up to the event day was very easy to confirm details and other logistics. The party room was already decorated so I really didn't have to do anything but setup the food and any table deco. Ryan was super accommodating and even set up a monitor in the party room for me, however, the laptop I brought needed to be plugged in and there are no outlets and I failed to bring my material on USB! BUT it was not a disappointment at all as the kids and adults continued to enjoy our time here to the very end. The last thing I would mention is it gets very, very busy and it's very, very Loud! With kids yelling, music playing, and adults talking the sounds are bouncing off the walls so everything is amplified making it a bit difficult to converse on a normal decibel. Kids who are sensitive to crowded areas or loud sounds might have a difficult time here. Otherwise, kids of all ages will love it! read more

I hosted my daughter's baby shower at MarTEEnez mini golf & arcade Saturday. Ryan, the owner was quick to reply to all my questions (& there were a lot) He was extremely easy to work with & overall just a really great guy. Everything went smooth from beginning to end. The shower was co-ed, so I needed a space that wouldn't be boring for the guys & a space where everyone could mingle. I did a buyout for the entire space and that worked perfectly. Large screen tv's in the back for the game, mini golf & arcade games were fun for everyone. The party room was the perfect size to set up food from the caterer, have a dessert table, a center table for seating & another table for miscellaneous set up. We all left on a high from the day filled with so much love. The last 2 days have been filled with texts & calls about how much fun everyone had & what a winderful venue it was. This place is rad! We strolled in while meandering after some good food downtown, it's a little unassuming when you first walk in, my wife was unimpressed, but we bought a game of golf and a couple beers and we had SO MUCH FUN! The golf course is a little goofy, but very much fun, their take on putt putt is great, there are interactive holes that aren't traditional but very fun, then we sat and chatted up the owner for a while and he is a very nice man, we played a couple games of basketball and had a blast! Mini location located in downtown Martinez. The inside is small and would be difficult waiting behind groups if there were more than 3-4 groups playing at a time. BUT they did a great job with the space that they have and we enjoyed ourselves. The workers were friendly and welcoming. It highlights that there is an arcade but is definitely a place for mini golf. They also have a snack bar with various snacks for sale. There is a cute party room as well. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and believe there was only one party (a kids birthday party). Kids were running around in the courses but was totally fine as the parents were quick to correct them and were very sweet about it. I totally enjoyed that not all courses were your standard puts. Overall, would definitely recommend coming but be mindful that things can get back up if there are a bunch of groups ahead of you. read more

We booked the entire place for our daughter's 7th bday party just 2 weeks before the event. The owners were so kind, patient, and flexible with our requests! They wouldn't even let us clean up the kids' mess which I felt bad about the chips and popcorn all over the putting green. I asked if I could borrow a broom to sweep it up, but they insisted they would be the ones to tidy up everything. All our guests had positive things to say about this place. The space was quite small so it was pretty impressive they managed to fit 17 holes. It's quite modest vs. other indoor mini-golf places in the Bay, but still fun (if you set your expectations accordingly). I can imagine my experience would be less enjoyable if the place was busier due to the limited space. Luckily, we mostly had the place to ourselves. The folks managing the place were super friendly and welcoming. Snacks and arcade games were available. For $10 a game, it's worth a visit when you're downtown and have about an hour to spare. It's also next to Del Cielo Brewery which is convenient as that place typically hosts fun events as well (trivia night, comedy night, bingo, live music, etc.). read more

This made for such a fun date with my boyfriend! We live in Walnut Creek and had never been to downtown Martinez, so we wanted to check it out. I didn't know what to except when we got here, but I was actually really impressed with the creativity and the pretty fair challenge level of the 16 holes/mini games.
