Ahh we love this place!! Absolutely amazing!! We come here for date night, or for a group hang out. The pay by the hour pool tables are awesome!! Service is great!! Love the bartenders!! Come here if your looking for good drink, beers on tap and some games of pool. Or free darts that's fun too!!

The staff are so friendly, just started visiting this place and always get treated like an old friend. The drinks are reasonably priced and well proportioned, super yummy too! It's nice and clean inside, no drama or riff raff ( on my visits so far) lots of tables so you don't really need to wait and the jukebox is always playing great music loud enough to have a good time. I recommend

It's not always easy anymore finding a good restaurant serving a varied menu at reasonable prices…read more Seems like most places cater to specific tastes: Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, etc. But JP's is the exception. It's cozy and generally quiet (despite the big breakfast and lunch crowds), with plenty of good food in every category. Service is always splendid, with a friendly, helpful staff. And it's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is another exception and helps a lot, too. The breakfast and lunch items are particularly good, with practically any kind of breakfast food or lunch sandwich you can name. The only drawback is the dinner menu, which is somewhat limited. I suspect this is of necessity, with breakfast and lunch crowds being much bigger, what with work nearby from the county and such. Nevertheless, everything on the menu is cooked to perfection, so try the dinners, too, and you won't be disappointed.

It was about 11:30 when we walked in and snagged one of the few available seats left. Service was prompt and friendly, and the place buzzed with happy energy. As the breakfast menu went until 2PM, I went for bacon and eggs (poached) with toast, hashbrowns, and orange juice. Gayle ordered a tuna melt off the Lunch side. It was all a log of food and in hindsight, both of us should have exchanged the potatoes for fresh fruit. Both of us also ordered coffee, with both of us agreeing that it was fresh and very good. We also enjoyed the diner ambiance which we though suited JP's very well.

The first time I came I ordered the lobster garlic noodles and they were really tasty, lots of lobster and even had leftovers for lunch. My kids both liked their food- one ordered the pizza kids meal and the other the sliders. There was a few mishaps on the first visit, some of the people in our group waited a while to get their food and we ask for condiments twice before we got them, but hey it was busy and we were a large group. On my second visit I order the fish and chips and they were good, fish was crispy and again, the serving was huge! My kids ordered the same thing on our second visit and they had no complaints. Both times we were seated fast. It is a sports bar and it does get busy and loud so if that's something you don't like, maybe skip it or request to sit outside! I would come here again!

Our favorite appetizers are the poke nachos, spinach dip, and the jumbo pretzel (the pretzel is my personal favorite--so good!). For lighter options, the tomato bisque and house salad are always solid choices. For entrées, we've tried quite a bit and have several favorites: the grilled chicken and avocado sandwich, salmon plates, fish tacos, cilantro lime chicken, and especially the whiskey glazed salmon and Mediterranean salmon--those are absolute favorites for me. I also really love the Mediterranean veggie burger. My husband is more of a meat eater and used to love their Beyond Burger, which they've since changed to a veggie version--he says it's not quite as good as before, but still decent. The classic burger is also very good. And the lobster garlic noodles? Amazing. For dessert, the cheesecake brûlée is a must-try. And I can't forget the drinks--they are some of the best! I love the Coco Passion, Midnight Sangria, Sunset Sangria, and the Dragon Fruit Cosmo. Everything is always so flavorful and well-made. Beyond the food, the service has consistently been great every single time we've gone. Overall, this place is a 5-star experience for us--great food, great drinks, and great service every time. Highly recommend!

The place is good for groups of four. We had a group of six and the only table big enough had a pillar in the middle. Not a deal breaker. But made communication interesting. Her voice that whole time was abrupt and nasty. Maybe it was because I'm an old man with a ponytail and looking around the restaurant I saw no one black, brown, or dark. The room was blaring loud. Filled with screens of sport activities, and Fox News. The bartender asked me questions and kept asking me to repeat obviously, it was hard to hear. On one occasion she asked a question and I shook my head. She said "please answer my question . Don't just shake your head at me! " when I expressed this pleasure, she said, "I'm not serving you. get out of here!" I spoke to the manager quietly in the corner. She was very nice. She apologized to me and right after she apologized to me a man twice my size covered with tattoos came over and said "get the fuck out of here! I think that Sauced BBQ is as good as any BBQ I've tried throughout the US. This past weekend I traveled across the bay and ordered the Third Rack of Spare Ribs with a side of Potato Salad and Mac n Cheese. The Spare Ribs - were fall of the bone tender. And the meat was so rich and flavorful. The Mac n Cheese is some of the best I've had. And the Potato Salad while it was super good but had way too much mayonnaise. But I'd probably order both again as sides! Now for the not so good. Sauce was out of Burnt Ends. Ugghhhhh! Every time I visit, I've counted on Burnt Ends being available. I understand they are a scarce commodity, but it was disappointing they were not on the menu. That's how good they are! One comment. I don't know who's decision it was to add a video arcade to the restaurant, but I sincerely felt I was in Vegas at a cheap restaurant on the strip. The place is already pretty loud but to add screaming kids and video games seems a bit odd to me. Just seems completely out of place and doesn't add to the strengths of the restaurant - creating the best environment to serve some of the best BBQ in the Bay Area. Matt says check out Sauced after you finish shopping at Nordstrom or Macy's. You'll love the BBQ. Just make sure you are seated opposite from the video arcade.
