This was our first time here. I came with my dad and brother, and we decided to try the "Dine & Play" deal. We started with the games and had a great time. The gaming portion of the night was fun and enjoyable overall. Unfortunately, the dining experience was the complete opposite. We were seated at a high-top table, and when our server approached, we let her know we had the Dine & Play deal. She asked for our receipt, but we were never given one, nor did the kiosk mention we would need a printed receipt. We just had our cards which the person at the kiosk said it would be on our cards. She seemed visibly annoyed and said, "I'm just going to speak to my manager," then walked away. She returned briefly to ask a follow-up question and then said, "I'm just going to grab him." To avoid further confusion, we went to the front ourselves and had them print the receipt. Once we gave her the receipt, she took our order: two beers, one water, two chicken sandwiches with ranch on the side, and a burger. The beers arrived after about 10 minutes, but the water never came. She said, "I'll be back with the water," but 20 minutes passed with no sign of it, so I went to the bar to request it myself. Our food was delivered by a different server, and ours server was nowhere in sight. We didn't receive the ranch we requested, so we asked the food runner, who said, "I'll let your server know." Meanwhile, the table behind us even asked if our server had disappeared, we said yes, and they said the same thing happened to them. That table eventually had to go to the front to pay their bill. I asked another staff member for ranch, and he responded, "What does your server look like? I'll let her know." Another 15 minutes passed with no sign of her. We finished our meals, and about 10 minutes later she finally came to the table and said, "You ordered ranch, but it looks like you don't need it." At that point, I simply said, "Yeah." I've worked in the restaurant industry myself, and this was the worst service I've ever received. I've never experienced a server completely disappearing from their tables. It also wasn't particularly busy, there were about six servers for roughly ten tables, so staffing didn't appear to be the issue. The server's name tag only had "!!" on it, so unfortunately we can't provide a name. We ultimately chose not to leave a tip, as we did not receive even basic service. Based on our experience, I would not recommend dining here. read more

We've been coming to this Dave & Buster's for years and usually just play games and have drinks. We've easily spent $300-$500 here and never had issues. This was our first time actually ordering food, and apparently that was a mistake. Gina got her food quickly & finished her entire meal before mine even arrived, which made for a super fun & not-awkward-at-all dinner. Communication from staff was basically nonexistent -- we had to ask multiple times just to find out what was going on. Everything here is already expensive, and between the long delays and poor communication, it cut into our planned game time. Games are still fun, but if you're charging premium prices, basic service should be part of the package considering our bill was $100. read more

GAMES/ARCADE: Out of the 3 Dave & Buster's in the Bay Area/East Bay/NorCal area, the games at this location far exceeds the others. The games are newer, more modern, and more up to date. The machines do break down just like any machine that gets beat, pounded, and shook by any kiddo on the daily (particularly during half off)--the amount of force people use... shouldn't be blamed on the establishment. I myself would be pissed if I operated the chain and I saw what kids did to the machines. Therefore, definite props to the tech team. The tech team are beyond kind and willing to fix any issue--except for the long haired blond Caucasian male (ie stone dropped but wouldn't go into the machine; he just put it back...). Ticketed items have increased due to the tariffs. Items don't seem to be updated much and new items are far few in between BUT this location offers more and has more variety than the others. FOOD: I am starting to believe the food and bar service at all Dave & Buster's are the same. I haven't tried the one in Daly City but have tried the other 2 and another 1 out of state. Obviously, the menu is the same across the board with plus or minus certain items dependent on the culture (ie some locations have shaved ice which I have never seen in NorCal). Somehow the prices increased (let me guess, blame the tariffs?) whereas portion sizes decreased immensely. This isn't too bad if you are part of the FREE membership (PRO TIP: Download the app! if you play enough chips, you do receive FREE apps, entree, burger, etc). Service is gawd awful. It seems as if the training manual is standardized to magically forget customer requests and to let customers search for you. This is a recurring theme across the board. For example, we ordered a salad with the dressing on the side. Server completely forgets. Continues to forget. We continue to watch (giving the benefit of the doubt), then, notice she starts serving others. Someone in my party proceeds to walk up and notify them. We start eating the salad dry. Half way she finally shows up with the prepackaged dressing. Free coupons need to be approved by managers, presumably. Only had this happen when taking out but not dining in. AMBIANCE: It's loud. It's dark. It's full of lights. It's casual. Fabulous for large groups. Often lots of parties and company gatherings happening. It's obnoxiously fun; what more could a person ask for? I wouldn't come here for the food. I'd eat beforehand. However, I'd grab a drink during happy hour (M to F 4-7pm; Sun to Thurs 10pm to closing). If I were basing it off of the food, service, ticketed items, and food pricing, the rating would be so much lower. Instead, I couldn't be happier (in comparison to other arcades) with the chip pricing, rewards via membership, and machines offered. I just wished there were rewards past level 9 on the membership and that you can redeem gift cards on the app AS THIS LOCATION SEEMS TO NEVER HAVE A PERSON AT THE FRONT DESK (you will have to go to the bar and they never want to add your loyalty/members for bonus chips). read more

I love dave and busters and finally made it out to this one. I came on a sunday afternoon. They have so many games here. My favorite is basketball, connect 4 basketball and air hockey. All those were working but over 3 other games we played were out of order and taking the credits. Im so surprised to see some out of order. I did get help with one of the games but I didnt bother for the rest. They have a bar and restaurant like the other ones. I didnt eat any food on this visit. The location was really clean. The man at the ticket shop who was by himself did extremely well and was super sweet. Came on Memorial Day, the host was sweet and sat us quickly. Then we waited about 15 minutes while being ignored by all the other servers, no water no words no anything. To be fair we could've not been in their section, but telling anyone else that we needed help would've been kind. We recently came here for a kids birthday party. Each kid got their own unlimited play card, but it was unlimited only for the blue machines, which means unlimited play applies to these non-ticket, non-redemption video games. It did have some points for the non-blue machines too, so they were able to claim some credits on those games. My family had so much fun here... we probably played every single game that was blue... which took like 3 hours. We were all gamed out by the time we were leaving. Dining area was clean. Service was good, but very very slow for some reason (it was a weekend... so lots of parties and groups). The food was okay, what I expected from a fast food / arcade kind of setting. Bathroom was very clean. In the past, we have came for Wednesday half price day before and it was a good deal! The prizes you redeem credits for are never really worth it, but the kids (and my husband) love the "free" prizes.... Overall we had good times and new memories made at this D&B. Overall had a good experience here. A friend and I went to watch Sunday night football. It was cool that they had an MC for the game, $5 Jell-O shots floating around, and of course the dozens of TV's so you have a view of the game from every angle. We were lucky to get seated quickly shortly before game time, I think having a small party helped with that. Service was a little slow to start but it did pick up. They were slammed and we weren't in a hurry, but we really appreciated that our waitress was super friendly and would stop by to give us updates on our food or drinks so we didn't feel forgotten. The SNF deal was great too! 10 wings for $10 and we each got their $5 margarita plus 50 cents to make it dragon fruit, strawberry, etc. Can't beat that! The wings were good, the sauces were tasty. Came here to celebrate my nephew's 5th grade graduation. We made a reservation for our party of 7 and were seated right away when we arrived. Ordered the cali avo caesar salad, southwest salmon bowl, lemon pepper wings, garlic parm brussel sprouts, chicken avocado club, and a couple kids' dishes. The food came out at different times, so some people were almost done with their meals by the time others received theirs. The staff was MIA for long periods of time, especially when we needed help, so service wasn't the greatest. In terms of food quality and taste, everything was just okay. They skimped on most of the ingredients in the salads, the brussel sprouts and lemon pepper wings were slightly overcooked and didn't stand out in any way... and when we asked my nephew what he thought about his chicken tenders, his only response was "they took foreeeever!" The kid has a point. Inattentive sevice, long wait times, they didn't even provide utensils in a timely manner (after we requested repeatedly). I obviously don't recommend dining here, but the $2 beer special, which they have on Sundays, was cool. And we had fun playing the games, most of the arcade machines in good condition with cool themes like Willy Wonka and Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as carnival arcade games, Speed of Light, lots of hoops, dodgeball, and even a fishing game called Wicked Tuna (those last two were unique ones). 4 stars for the arcade, and clean and modern environment. 2 stars for the food and service. 3 stars overall. read more

I wanted to attend an event promoted on the official Dave N Busters website specifically at this location. Attempted to call this morning to ask about this event. Called 5 times throughout the morning and afternoon to confirm this ppv event was happening. Had to go in person around 2 hours before the ppv was to start and the customer service rep confirmed the ppv will be playing somewhere in the dining area. I thought "cool, they're following through with their own promotion". I show up around 5 and ask the bar staff to turn on the ppv. They are totally lost and have no idea what's going on. I show them the promotion for this location on their own website and still nothing, they have no idea and I need to go to the front customer service area so I wait in the never ending customer service line to ask. 16 year old customer service rep gives me a blank stare and States the event starts at 8 pm, then he realized it's 8 pm EST and he's like "oh it's supposed to be now!". I ask him to phone a manager to find out if they are airing the event they are promoting on their own website. Manager has no idea what I'm talking about despite AEW events being promoted on their own website. While I was there the venue was very loud and noisy and my experience with customer service was bad. The bar area service was pretty bad. The line at customer service was bad and several people were upset with service. Extremely Disappointed with the Restaurant Service I had a very bad experience at the restaurant area of Dave & Buster's. When I was seated, the table was still dirty from the previous customers crumbs, used napkins, and cups left behind. I waited patiently at first, but after several minutes no one came to clean it. I asked three different times for someone to come by, including asking the hostess directly, and still nobody ever showed up. After waiting far too long, I finally just got up and left. It's really disappointing because I was looking forward to enjoying the food and games, but the lack of basic service and attention made the experience unpleasant. I have to say, my family and I have had a great time every time we've been. This facility is spacious, clean, and has just about every type of arcade game you can imagine. I also like that you can dine while the kids play, making it an easy and, predominately, stress free experience. It's worth downloading the app, as you'll find weekly specials for games and/or food. I've also been very impressed with the employees and service received... People seem to genuinely like working here and are friendly and helpful...something that isn't often the case at many places these days. Job well done to the hiring manager (and stellar employees!) The machines are high tech where you just tap your card on it like a credit card to play. What's the point of working with open table for reservation if you will not honer them? Went to celebrate our daughter's 14th birthday on a Saturday with her 3 friends. They sat us in the surrounding bar area at a dirty table that we waited to be cleaned. After 20 minutes, my husband flagged down another server who said he'd "take us" although it wasn't his table or section. While the girls went to play games, we waited another 10 - 15 minutes for waters, and had to request utensils and napkins for our appetizers. Overall, the service was subpar. It was crowded but not enough to notice all the sidebar conversations between staff. Not the D&B service in Fairfield (which we normally go to) which is a what we expected... at least greet us! Appetizers were OK, TV's were loud and the staff seemed disconnected from customers. We had to request soda refills, food was room temperature... the only plus was the server that eventually waited on us tried to save face once he spoke with us and realized we run a catering business... while other employees just walked past us. New year and new disappointment. I visited around 6:49 pm on 1/01/2026. And the guy at the counter looked mad that we asked for a table. He took some plates that were on the table and spilled every contents on table. He took over five minutes to clear some plates and did not even care to wipe the table, i was surprised that Dave and busters is now providing some tooth cleaning tools. Exiting new changes for the new year! After sitting down the staff haven't taken our food orders it been over 18 minutes as i am writing this review as I'm waiting for anyone to come help us. D &B have always been a good place to come and hang out and play video games. The service is great. My server is wonderful. Her name is. Stephanie and she was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. It was a great help in helping me order my food and drinks.. I ordered the Dave & Buster's bacon burger. It came out pretty fast. It was delicious and a side of fries with my drink and I had a water with lemon.. the prices here are a little pricey, but overall the atmosphere is wonderful for A date or just some fun out with the kids. Honestly the staff was pretty nice, the bartender that served me and my group was very attentive and helpful. Drinks were very very strong! Highly recommend any of the bevs with henny in them, best sleep ever after those bevs. The games were super fun and the prize selection was mid tho. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, the vibes were fun. The only thing I don't really recommend is the pool, the chalk was all over the place when we played!!! Watch out at this location for poor service and inattention to your table. My family of 4 was there to watch some sports on their TV's one evening and get some food. Total bill for food and drink was over $150. That wasn't the issue. At the end, the server got my card and tapped it on her portable card reader and handed it to me to sign. I didn't realize until I got the receipt that she had punched in the 25% tip button. I don't mind giving that kind of tip for great service. She barely paid any attention to us, and I had to flag her down to get another beer plus soft drink refills. Definitely not service worthy of a 25% tip. read more
