The cut was great. Heather is skilled, knows what she's doing, and really made me feel like I was in good hands. I think my cut was ~$80, and my color plus foils was ~$290 -- a little pricey but it's quality work. I'll be going back. The shop and atmosphere: The salon is filled with art for sale by local artists, which I really appreciate. There are also offerings of beer, wine, coffee, tea, and water for customers -- I mean, it doesn't get much better than that. In terms of parking, there are spots on the street nearby, but the salon also shares a small private lot with the business next door (facing the salon, it's the driveway to the right) which is a lifesaver, especially for that busy area of town. The receptionist and others stylists all seems friendly, hip, and chill -- in a relaxed way and not a douchey way. I can totally imagine folks of all ages feeling welcome there. Again, I'll be going back. The only slightly odd thing about my whole experience was that the salon keeps your credit or debit card info on file to hold you accountable for last-minute cancelations, those who are atrociously late, and whatnot. And I totally get it -- it's a business and stylists lose money when that kinda' thing happens (which I'm sure is annoyingly frequent).
