I desperately needed a hair cut and my regular stylist isn't available for a few months. I decided to go back to this salon for the convenience. I've gone here a few times for a simple hair cut and have always liked them since, I just felt like I was cheating on my regular stylist, lol. I made an appointment a few weeks for a simple hair cut with wash and style. I was unsure if I should book an appointment since the date and time I wanted to go to was with their junior stylist, Candace. Well it turns out, she made magic happen with my hair and made it look so good. Now I'm reconsidering switching hair salons for the convenience and overall, I love the stylists' cutting techniques here better than my normal stylist. Sarah always does an amazing job of coloring my hair, and I'm never disappointed in the quality. Sarah knows I prefer a low maintenance color and cut, so she always provides the best advice whenever I come in for a color appt. I found this by searching online for a new salon near me that doesn't cost $100 for just a cut. I am SO GLAD that i found Candace! I was able to book VERY easily online. You can add as many services per booking as you need. They also respond very quickly to emails. Candace was great and I loved how my hair turned out! :) She even styled it at the end for me. I have been going to Native Mane for almost 2 years now after getting the recommendation from my best friend. I love that the salon is female-owned and run, and their entire aesthetic is gorgeous. I made my first appointment, a hair cut and color consult, with Yvette, because I saw that her specialties were brunettes and curly hair girls. My hair was fried and my previous highlights were super grown out. Yvette recommended foilyage and a keratin treatment, both of which brought my hair back to life! I started with Tory, who is absolutely wonderful, and now see Sarah, who is a blonding queen! I am so blown away by her skill. She is wonderful to be around and listens to what I want for my hair. It's been a long time coming but I've finally found my salon of choice in ATL. I had been following many of the stylists on IG for awhile when I moved from Buckhead to Cabbagetown because I was looking for a new colorist in the area. Almost all the best blonde specialists are in Buckhead but I didn't want to have to drive that far to get my hair done - especially since I work full-time and usually have to reserve appointments after 5 on weekdays. Also, most of the blonde specialists in the city are extremely expensive. I saw that Sarah was doing a promotion when she was promoted to junior stylist so I thought this would be the perfect time to try her out. She was so amazing! I love how much all the girls collaborate when they are doing hair. She also didn't judge me for cutting my own curtain bangs - she actually told me I did a good job!
