I bought a brand new home, but as can be expected, the landscaping guys did their work so that looks nice just for the sale, as would be expected. But after we lived there for about a year, everything just started dying. After a little working around on my own, I realized that they put gravel and decompose granite everywhere underneath the grass so the plants couldn't grow. So I needed to dig all the dirt out about a few inches. After removing all the dirt and rocks, they put in fresh nutrient soil and laid the sod down. The other put healthy focus bushes all the way around. As well as removing the bushes that were there before. They also did an immaculate job on putting some pavers in in certain areas. I called around to a few places as well as A-to-Z. But after speaking with A-to-Z, I knew he was the one that I could trust for the job. He was honest sincere I trustworthy. During the whole way through the project, A-to-Z guys were respectful, courteous, prompt, and clean. Every day they left, they cleaned up before they were gone. Even the workmanship was stellar you could see the quality in their work. I am truly grateful to have found them and will definitely use them again. We benefitted from his years of experience but also from his long-held contacts in the field. During the building process things came up like needing the footings for the posts of a pergola another contractor was going to build for us on top of the patio but he was out of the country at the time. Not a problem. Eddie had worked with him on previous projects and was able to get the footings and install them for us. Then we needed to make decisions regarding any electrical we wanted on and around the patio which needed to be encased in tubing with all the other underlayment and Eddie's electrician buddy came right away to help us so that our project didn't get delayed. We didn't work with an architect on this project. It was just me laying down a garden hose to visualize what a patio would look like and going over it with my husband. Getting the elevations right was tricky since we didn't want a railing to obstruct our view of the garden. Eddie was so helpful with this but he also has the smartest right-hand-man, I think his name is Manuel, who saved the day for me. I wanted to extend the patio out a certain way and in telling him what I envisioned he improved the design on the spot! He eliminated one of the steps transforming the design making it more seamless and elegant. A small thing and yet it was huge in the scope of things. I would suggest to make sure he has current insurances and that all his sub contractors are paid before your final payment to him. So maybe get their phone numbers to verify first? What a terrible experience. The work was decent and is a 5 star. But the business ethic of getting his people paid and affect people's title of their property. Not ok! Zero stars for that. I don't want to hurt his business by giving just one star so I will give 3 of 5. UPDATED. REVIEW. Maybe I should lower the stars though because Edwin is saying he doesn't know anything about this which is now a bold face total lie and I'm gonna post photos of our text messages of him saying he's gonna clear it all up. He left his helper at my house doing nothing and returned 2-3 hours later (smelling of alcohol--red flag!) picked up his helper and said he would be back the following day. He never came. He called later and said he'd be back on Monday but needed more money for supplies and asked to stop by to pick it up. Like total idiots we gave him another $400 and guess what? He never came back on Monday. Didn't return calls or texts. Complete scam. I thought I had done my due diligence but be careful, I think that Yelp sends you contacts that you didn't actually contact in the first place. When I look back at reviews, I can't believe I went forward with this guy. He is a completely dishonest person and I kick myself for being so trusting but, live and learn. Karma will get him though I'm sure. I bought him and his helper all this food and drinks and had planned to give a really nice tip. When you take advantage of good people, it comes back around. We took our some cabinets, and needed to fill in a large section of pavers. We needed it to match and look as seamless as possible. I had doubts as to whether this could be done at all. They took extra pavers we already had- that we had stored poorly and they were very weathered and dirty, and other companies said couldn't be used. (The specific pavers are no longer are in production though) Cement Kings used these, cleaned them thoroughly with special solution, cut them to fit, and did it in such a way that it didn't look like a block had been replaced. We had also had them re-sand and re-seal the entire patio of pavers. It looks fantastic. They moved all of our heavy furniture out of the way, and later put it all back neatly, even taking care to dust it off. So reliable, professional, easy to work with, and willing to go above and beyond. Also the "Cement King" is so nice - even welcomed my curious little observer to "help" him (see photo!). And besides that, their pricing was definitely by far the best out of many quotes we got. And for the BEST SERVICE. Highly recommend!!!

From our initial appointment, to the final touches on my…read morehardsscaping, my experience with Titan Pavers has been nothing short of exceptional. 1) The proposal phase - Max was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and came at our appointed time to evaluate the scope of the work. I was looking to install pavers over ~1500 sq feet in my back and side yard, with planting areas and an artificial turf corner for my dogs to do their business. Max immediately took note of the drainage issues that I had on my property and came up with a very technically sound plan of installing a sump pump and draining the water onto the street. I was fearful of the cost as it sounded like a lot of labor involved (and it was!), but I was pleasantly surprised that his quote was in-line with the other quotes I received that did not have a drainage plan. After a couple of very professional and kind email exchanges back and forth, we were able to negotiate a final price that I was happy with without compromising the look I was going for. 2) Work phase - Max estimated that the work would take 2 weeks, and they completed it in 1.5 weeks. What a crew he had! They were amazingly efficient and professional. They had to manually haul away 4 full containers of dirt to get my property at the right drainage levels. Max came every day to check on progress, and his onsite foreman was there the entire time to make sure everything went smoothly and it did! I was so impressed with the amount of coordination the team had. The last thing to be done was to install the tiles that I bought for the stair risers. They ended up being a bit too large and each one had to be cut down to size. It was very labor intensive, but Max was okay with it because his motto during the entire time was "I want you to be completely happy with the result". And I totally was. My yard is gorgeous with the "Spanish courtyard" feel that I was going for! 3) The aftermath - We had a full day of rain this past week in our area and it was a great way to see how the drainage worked. We used to have puddles form all over our property after a rainy day (mosquito heaven!), but now my entire yard properly drains out to the street. No more puddles. No more overflow water rushing into my back neighbor's yard. It was perfect. I am looking forward to working with Titan Pavers again once it's time for me to repave my driveway.
