Cement Kings - My new back patio steps! Courtesy of the Cement Kings. Much appreciated! - Masonry/Concrete Near Me

I am SO IMPRESSED with this company. We have high expectations from vendors, and this one exceeded ours. We had pavers on our back patio. We took our some cabinets, and needed to fill in a large section of pavers. We needed it to match and look as seamless as possible. I had doubts as to whether this could be done at all. They took extra pavers we already had- that we had stored poorly and they were very weathered and dirty, and other companies said couldn't be used. (The specific pavers are no longer are in production though) Cement Kings used these, cleaned them thoroughly with special solution, cut them to fit, and did it in such a way that it didn't look like a block had been replaced. We had also had them re-sand and re-seal the entire patio of pavers. It looks fantastic. They moved all of our heavy furniture out of the way, and later put it all back neatly, even taking care to dust it off. So reliable, professional, easy to work with, and willing to go above and beyond. Also the "Cement King" is so nice - even welcomed my curious little observer to "help" him (see photo!). And besides that, their pricing was definitely by far the best out of many quotes we got. And for the BEST SERVICE. Highly recommend!!! read more

Organized bed and service requested. Satisfied customers needs. A quality of the service was top notch. We had a few bids done and this was the most professional company we had out to bid us. They showed up everyday on time for work cleaned up after themselves and I found this a true value. They were very polite when working around the property and the finished project was absolutely perfection. I feel like we totally got everything we paid for!! read more

First and foremost, Edward and his crew are extremely professional, nice, knowledgeable, and honest about what it takes and costs to get the work done. We had a messed up cement job that they had to remove in addition. To building a patio and a retaining wall to not only cover a hole in the fence my dog kept going through, but to remove this weird area of dirt that was here when I bought the house. It was so much work! The previous company had improperly laid the cement and Edward had to remove it. It was too thick as we found out after they broke it and as suspected and known, there was no rebar placed from the previous cement company (I use that term loosely). I saw and couldn't believe how effective, quick, and efficient Edward and Omar were. He didn't bring in a large crew to waste money, he and Omar only brought in experts to help pour concrete and bring trucks and bins to remove excess dirt and cement. The price was extremely reasonable for all they did. Even when it got a little past our budget, Edward was able to think of ways to accommodate us. I am normally someone who wants to know what's happening at all times. My guy told me to leave Edward alone because he is a creative artist who knows what he is doing. I saw for myself that my guy was correct. Edward thought of ways to make our little oddly shaped backyard into something beautiful. We love the way everything turned out. We are also so impressed with the way he took care to explain everything and keep us updated on the progress. All in all, I would highly recommend and I have already began giving his information to peers looking to renovate and improve their property. I could say so much more, but in the end, if you need professional work done properly, legally, with no shortcuts and full transparency, hire these guys and no one else. The finished product is worth every penny spent. read more

One of the best experiences I have ever had hiring a contractor. I recently had my roof replaced, and the roofers completely broke the front planter that spanned the entire front of my house. I called Cement Kings, and Edward was on it from the first call. The bricks for the planter were no longer produced, so Edward was able to find a very close match. They got the product and the next day that I was available they, they came and completed the job in one day. The planter looks better now than it did before it was broken. I will definitely hire them for mor improvements. They were very kind, understanding, quick and all at a reasonable cost. read more

Highly recommend!! The Cement Kings just finished extending my driveway and my back patio with concrete. Edward was super knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He explained the entire process and kept me updated as the work progressed. I actually received a cheaper quote from another company but ultimately am glad I went with Cement Kings. The foundation of my yard was not in their favor but they took the time to make sure any water would properly drain to prevent future damage, all while making sure it still looks great. The time and care they took means a lot to me and I couldn't be happier with the final result. read more

We had a large project to revamp our front and backyard and working with Cement Kings made it a breeze. Edward was diligent in stopping by for a site visit and subsequently providing me with a detailed quote. His pricing is fair and great value for the work he provides. We have an L-shaped driveway that we wanted to widen. We contacted The Cement King, spoke to Edward and he came out to give an estimate. One thing we noticed right away are his great customer-relation skills. He listens, closely, and that is much appreciated. He had several suggestions that hadn't even occurred to us and his attention to detail is exceptional. His price was very reasonable. He and his team did a great job, we are very happy with it and we would hire him again. read more

Great experience! I spoke with the Business Owner Edward who was very professional and responsive. He was very generous with his time, listened to my concerns and was able to walk me through the process of what could be done with a cement stain I am dealing with. He informed me of my options and took the time to write me an email to set the expectations of the services and results which I greatly appreciated. That tells me this is a company and business owner with integrity and experience, and I would highly recommend them. read more

I have a corner lot with a driveway in the back with no private back yard. I was in search of a cement contractor to help me build a patio and enclose my front yard to add outdoor living space for my family and me. I did my research and I met with about 6 contractors. Most of them could not connect with me on my vision. Then I connected with Edward at Cement Kings. He was very responsive and punctual to our first meeting at my house. He listened to my lay persons description of what I wanted. He understood and was not intimidated by the magnitude of the project. When asked for references, he offered them freely and he came highly recommended. He gave me a very competitive quote, with great attention to detail in the work that would be done with associated fees. After much thought, I contracted with Edward to do the work. We set a date to start the three week project. He started the work on time and the project finished a few days early. Edward is great to work with. As the project progressed he would keep me up to date on what was done and the next tasks to be done. He kept the work area very clean, taking away all debris each day during the demo. I am elated with my enclosed front yard living space and I HIGHLY recommend Edward (Cement Kings) and his great team for your next project. read more

Edward was recommended through our contractor for cement and stucco work. He helped us as our project evolved quite a bit - cement, stucco, and even brick work. He was easy to communicate with and you can tell his passion for cement through his work! Thanks again, Edward! read more

The Cement King team, led by Forman Edward Morales and his team, was contracted to erect a finished block wall on a sloping driveway. Every morning they arrived on time, initiated set up, performed their task at hand with unparalleled dedication, code of conduct and cleaned up post work. This routine continued from day one to job completion. The work ethic by Edward's team was refreshing. I'm extremely satisfied with the completion of the wall and their ability to keep me happy with all my nits. I recommend Cement Kings. read more

Edward is very responsive and detailed and gives you options and ideas. Although we did not proceed with the project, (nothing to do with him and we did not go with someone else; we just had something come up financially and couldn't continue) I feel confident that we would have been satisfied with the work if we had continued because he is very communicative and that is a skill that many appreciate when a high end job is being done on their home. And he also did not respond negatively to us having to retract, he thanked us for the opportunity. With how people are now a days, he could have easily just not responded to me. Thanks again Edward for your time!! read more
