If you're reading this - hire Camberos Masonry! Where to start. I had a small (under $3,000) job I was looking to have done to install pavers over ~90 SF to extend my existing concrete patio. I'd never done anything like this and didn't know where to start. I had read that small jobs are tough to get people to do and was worried I would have to get a less professional company than what I ended up with. I went on Angie's list and punched in the rough project. Francisco (owner) texted me within an hour late in the evening to ask me about the project. That quick communication was indicative of how he does business. Very responsive to all questions. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, talking me through different options. For a project of this size I was expecting to have to use precast pavers, but Francisco told me they could pour custom ones on-site, which was perfect because I had an irregular layout to cover. I expected the cost to be a fair bit more, but it was consistent with a quote I got from one other company for using precast pavers. So I got to choose the size, layout, color and the finish of the pavers, for very fair pricing. He even suggested I could demo the existing concrete and redo the whole patio at a reasonable price to make it more consistent, but never felt like he was upselling me, just talking me through options. He also mentioned that I could seal the pavers myself rather than paying someone to do it, and told me how I could paint some other concrete in the area that was getting stained. The project itself went off without a hitch. He scheduled us within a week, and the job took two days. His men Leo and Angel were very punctual (arriving before 8am both days), efficient and conscientious workers. They had excavated the area and framed the pavers within a half day. The next morning I told them it needed to be reworked a little bit and they did that no problem. The concrete was mixed and poured, and the area cleaned by the time I got home from work. In summary, Camberos Masonry did a job I could only get one other company to quote on, with a great service level and very high quality offering, and a very reasonable price. I wouldn't think twice before using them again for future projects and would highly recommend them. read more

Francisco and Camberos Masonry impressed from the start. Excellent, prompt communication. Fair, detailed price quotes. Flexible with scope of work and budget constraints. I needed my front retaining wall repaired after a car ran into it. Francisco called from my Yelp request, and quickly impressed me with his knowledge and friendly, outgoing personality. He provided multiple quotes for different scopes of work. Detailing what would be required for each and allowing me to decide what was best for my needs and budget. Work started on schedule. As invariably happens, they ran into a hiccup once digging started. My existing wall had no footing whatsoever! Francisco rapidly amended the quote for the larger job, providing a more than fair price. It took a little longer than originally planned, but only 1 more day for having to pour a whole new wall footing! Results look great, and I am very pleased with the quality of the work. Highly recommended! read more

We had a great experience working with Francisco! We received a few bids to add a front walkway with brick inlay and driveway crack patching but ultimately chose him because of his expertise, fair pricing, and great communication from the start. He was also incredibly flexible when we had to delay the project due to other work happening at our home. Everything turned out great, and the whole process was easy and professional. We would definitely work with Francisco again and highly recommend him! read more

I shopped around for someone to build a brick wall for my hillside and talked to a few companies. Still, I felt really good talking to Francisco, especially because he was very detailed in his explanations and put everything in writing. I felt confident that he would do a great job, and most importantly, I trusted him. He did exactly what he said he would do; I know because I compared his detailed notes to what was actually getting done. He and his guys also explained to me what they were doing every day. They always showed up on time and left my house clean before they left. Anytime I called him or emailed he replied quickly. He also has a great staff who don't mess around and work hard every day. The job was completed as projected. I will definitely use them again. Thank you, Francisco, for always being available when I had a question. read more

Camberos Masonry provided services recently involving repairing/restoring a very old natural stone wall as well as repairing mortar joints/cracks in natural stone pathways at a circa 1930 property. We found the crew to be hard working, diligent, reliable, creative problem solvers. Believe me when I say that access was not easy at our job site (and there were some coordination challenges with some other service providers in the process). But Camberos listened and figured it out. Francisco is a great guy. Speak up and speak plainly to him, tell him your priorities and concerns, and he will go out of his way to get it all done right for you. read more

Had several appts to have contractors come out to give me a quote for a backyard project. Camberos Masonry was the ONLY contractor who arrived ON TIME, as the other companies either were late or never showed up for the time THEY scheduled me for the quote. I spoke directly with Francisco, who explained the process and made sure he had all my questions answered. His quote was very reasonable, so I decided to go with Camberos Masonry. They were very punctual arriving to the daily job site. I am extremely happy on how my vision and project turned out. If anyone is interested in having some masonry work done, definitely give them a call. read more

Had an apppointment, then all of a sudden he has a Flat Tire, never bothered to reschedule or call back. I see there is another review stating the same. Dont waste your time making an appointment for this Company to later do a no show, no callback. If you didnt want the job, be professional enough to state that. read more

I wanted to expand my driveway and remove old curved concrete left over from an old fence that was in the property. Francisco came over quickly to scope out the work and plan it out with me. His crew came out and cut the concrete, leveled the ground, removed old tree roots and removed the cracked concrete slab in-front of my entrance, and poured the concrete in just 2 days! I'm very pleased with the final product. Would highly recommend for any concrete projects. read more

We are extremely pleased with the outstanding work completed by Camberos Masonry. The best word to describe their work is immaculate! Francisco came over and gave honest suggestions, not like any others we came across. They replaced one retaining wall that was broken and some parts had fallen, reinforced another wall, and installed our front lawn with exceptional attention to detail. The crew worked tirelessly, paid attention to every detail, and left the job site clean and organized each day. We have additional projects planned, and Camberos Masonry will be our first choice to complete them. Highly recommended! read more

Working with the Camberos Team was a great experience! Francisco was very honest and down to earth. I tried to cut corners but he said no and spent the time to teach me and help me understand why he advises against certain things. They were also very clean and organized! After every day on the job they neatly put away their items, hosed down and cleaned up after themselves and the driveway. Everyday! They didnt need to do this as they came back everyday but I appreciate so much! This says a lot about their professionalism. Their prices were very fair and the detailed work they did was superb! I have added their contact info in my phone for future projects and will definitely be referring them to anyone who is interested. Thanks Camerbos Team! read more

Francisco Camberos and his team helped us renovate the exterior of our previos home. It looked like a brand new house when it was done. We were so happy with his team that we hired him to build a stone and marble fireplace for our new home. They did such an amazing job! We had a short window of time to get it done and they went out of their way to make that happen. I really appreciate Francisco's professionalism and honesty. His quotes were detailed and well thought through and he is super reliable, which goes a long way in my book! We'll be working with this team for years. read more

I came across Camberos Masonry when I was looking for a contractor to install stone veneer for an addition to our home. Francisco came over and asked relevant questions before providing a detailed estimate. He provided options for the items I didn't think about initially. His estimate was broken down well and we decided to move forward with this company for the stone veneer installation. Francisco and his crew were timely and responsive. He kept me updated as to their progress and as to the reason for any delay. The end result was better than expected. Having a good experience with them for the initial portion of our project, we decided to have him bid on the hardscape work we needed to redo our front yard and driveway. His bid came in a bit higher than other contractors but he explained the difference and we felt he was providing a better product than his competitors. Having had a good experience with him already we called him once we were ready to begin the hardscaping. They installed numerous pilasters, pony walls, a french drain, and repoured our driveway and walkways. The end result was better than expected once again. The other contractors working on the project all commented about the quality of the work and its superior craftsmanship. Francisco and his crew were very professional and handled any issues that came up very well. Many neighbors compliment the work they have done. They paid close attention to the details and the end result shows it. They were clean and respectful and I have no reservations in recommending Camberos Masonry for any and all your concrete and masonry needs. read more

We feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon the Camberos team when they were doing other work in our neighborhood. They really helped us out of a jamb we were in with our previous contractor. Not only are we very happy with the final product, but also with the entire process.  From beginning to end, the Camberos team shined.  Francisco came over the same day to measure and give us a quote for demolishing and rebuilding a brick fence and concrete patio.  He was professional, friendly, thorough, and worked with us to provide several options within our budget and schedule. His communication was excellent and he provided much more detail about the job upfront compared to other contractors. The whole crew was hard working and didn't cut corners.  They were always on time, great about communicating through the process, kept the workspaces clean, and were mindful of protecting the windows, roses, and other plants. We feel great about the quality and workmanship. It's clear this crew takes pride in their work. We especially loved that they really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the work and the experience as a whole. (i.e. They even came back to replace sprinklers that were damaged in the construction.). We highly recommend Camberos Masonry! read more
