I'm updating my original review since time has passed. Six days after the cement was layed it started to crack. Fast forward two years and the majority of the driveway from front to end now have hairline cracks going thru each block. David blames the cement guys and they blame him for how he set it up. It's David's business, so the buck stops with him. David has given excuses and said he would make good on it, but still nothing. This was a big ticket item and warning for those who want to hire David that he doesn't back up his product. read more

I was looking to extend my driveway about 30 more feet and add to my existing drain. I came across David's construction and man this guy was very reasonable and easy to talk to and most importantly follows the plan. Was great to work with David when we were on a budget for extending our driveway. He gave us a good price and was available immediately. He was very thorough and detailed oriented with the work. I do wish he didn't use our bender board for support (we asked him not to) as that side is now not as straight as we wanted it to be. I have to admit that I am reluctant to hire anyone to do work on my home. I've run into some bad contractors doing shoddy work. If my gut tells me something isn't right, I stop immediately. I started looking for someone to correct my pavers that were installed about 7 years ago. Grass was growing between the brick, they lost their color and the edges were separating from the rest of the work. David stuck with me when I started to feel a bit overwhelmed with people reaching out and not following through. It finally came time to pull the trigger and David came to my place to evaluate the job. He quoted me a fair price and was able to start work within a few days. David did everything he said he would do in the timeframe promised. He wasn't satisfied until I was satisfied. We needed a driveway concrete repair removing the tree roots which he was able to do the next day with great results Within a week he leveled a section of patio with bricks we already had. Worked with David on getting a concrete patio created for our large backyard. He had the most reasonable estimate and as soon as we agreed on paper, he was back the next day to start work. Demoed out existing slab, took down some trees and the old patio cover and cleaned it all up and was ready to pour in a few days. Pour conducted and finished in a day. We've used multiple concrete companies and this one is prob at the bottom of the list. David promised us he could match our existing concrete patio (previously done by someone else) and neither the color, quality, or texture came out like we expected. There are cracks everywhere and the broom finish is nowhere near what we have on our existing concrete (previously done by someone else). We went with David because he had the best price, but in the end it might be worth going with someone who charges a little more for better quality. David's a great guy very polite and arrived on time to work, but I wish he would've been a little more honest about the quality of his work. Before he left the concrete didn't look so bad, but the more it cures the more imperfections are becoming noticeable. read more

I was really expecting a lot from this company based on the yelp reviews. But I was very disappointed with the work. It looks sloppy. I think our project was a bit much for them. The demo crew was awesome. They did everything in an organized matter and fast. The concrete crew was not so great. Left many gaps in between the cement and house walls. Broke our towel dispenser that we had outside. Showed up late. The cement looks uneven. Left a mess In our concrete wall of handprints. David was not present at the time of the cement being put in. Not sure who made the decisions on how the cement was going to in but not happy with how our backyard came out. We told David specifically how we wanted certain things and he did not do them. The ramp he built did not even last 1 day with our kids here at home. All the paint is chipped. We paid a lot of money for what we wanted and we are very disappointed with what we got. Everything seems to be done with a shortcut. I guess he's ok for a small patch of concrete but would not recommend for a big job like ours read more
