Cream cheese wontons with sweet and sour sauce

Chow's is such a Muskogee staple for Asian cuisine. It's always hot, fresh, and a ton of food for the money. I love the combo meals because they come with sweet and sour chicken and an egg roll, so you get variety. They've had some issues recently and closed for a long chunk of time, but they are back open! They still take credit cards, and the food is still great. I don't think I have ever eaten inside because it's pretty small. But it's your perfect quintessential take out spot for sure.

Tonight on the way back from a visit to family and running and errand my husband and I stopped by Chow's Express for some yummy takeout. My husband and I got sweet and sour chicken(his) and I got the Happy Family/Sweet & Sour Chicken combination dinner with egg roll, fried rice and extra sweet and sour sauce. Honestly this is not a place I think of all that often, but now I will think of it more. (It will not be such a hidden secret in Muskogee anymore for those who enjoy Chinese takeout). Thank You to Chow's for a lovely dinner.

I love their fried rice! I have to get get spicy though. I get 8 Star spicy not really spicy at all jus gives it a kick! You get it all the way up 20 Star I believe. Since I usually eat the fried rice as a meal I don't get it real spicy unless I eat it as a side then I'll go up to a 12 Star. Only fried rice I like in Muskogee.

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. No excuse. It was just bad and I ended up trashing it only a few bites in.

So if ambience is a # 1 for your experience this is not your place. The food however is fresh and fantastic. This is the real deal in street tacos. I had the carne asada and the Pastor tacos. Super delicious with all the right spices dancing the Macarena on your taste buds. Wash it down with Coke in a glass bottle to let that fizz spread the joy! Staff struggles with English a bit but are sweet and very good people. Go a few times and they know your order by heart! Mucho gracious Taco La Tia

I've never had anything on the menu that I didn't love. Today I had the Torta Al Pastor. I would put this Torta up against any in the area. Every bite is perfection! I'm also a huge fan of their Enchiladas Rojas! The Dillon bowl is also a regular staple of mine. It's a simple rice bowl with your choice of 2 perfectly seasoned/marinated meats. The servers here are always very polite and attentive. They put up with our antics weekly with a wry, empathetic smile (note the 32 oz. Modelo). The restaurant has seating to accommodate 20-25 people comfortably, which is needed for the daily lunch rush. Tacos La Tia has a blue collar feel yet their food is that of an upscale, high-end eatery. Every dish is packed full of flavor and the portions are just right! Onion rings had not been invented back then. You don't need carbon dating to judge the age of the building. The design, the weathered wood trim and the faded discolored paint date the building somewhere between pre-Sonic era, possibly even pre-Dairy Queen. It had to be the hang out in Wagoner, in its day. It appears to be a family owned and operated business. My wife and I have grabbed burgers here several times over the past ten years. Nothings has changed. The flame still flares up on the grill when the cook flips the burger, confirming the char flavor will be present as advertised. It is a one-man kitchen, so your order may take a few minutes if they are busy. Good charburgers and onion rings. Today my wife had a half order of 3-way. The chili is very mild, lots of cheese and fresh chopped onions decorated the big bowl of food. Skip Sonic and McDonald's. Have a home town Son's Charburger instead.
