Disappointed that the food has changed. I ordered a shrimp lo main and got thin spaghetti with a few shrimp and some vegetables. The taste isn't the same either. What I got today was very bland and not good. Not sure what's going on there but I won't be going back. read more

Outstanding Chinese food ! Staff was amazing & answered all my questions. Beef & Broccoli was loaded with beef and tons of broccoli. The service was great the new building very nice, but the food was awful. Bad rice that tasted cheap and bland. The chicken was wasn't even chicken. It was huge balls as something weird and breaded. I went home and tried to air fry it because it wasn't crunchy at all and it just puffed up so I'm not quite sure what kind of chicken that they're serving also I got the General soul in the orange chicken equally as nasty. read more

Edited to add: After my review this morning, I thought about the yummy Chopsticks goodness allday, so tried it for dinner. I had an egg roll, egg drop soup, and orange chicken. So yummy! I've been eating at Chopsticks for about 12 years. The food has been great on Hewitt Dr until recently. The last two times I've eaten there, the food was disappointing. I tried the Robinson location. While it was good, it wasn't as good as the Chopsticks in Hewitt used to be. I've heard things have improved in the last month or so, but haven't tried it yet. Food is always fresh, tasty, and reliable. Service is fast and friendly. We are indoors at the new building with out of town guests and we all enjoyed it. We strayed from our usual (Szechuan chicken) and tried something from the new menu, pork belly which we really enjoyed! The baby bok choy that came with it was so good!!! read more

Ordered online. Sat in the parking lot for about 15 minutes waiting for the app to update. It says it will not only give me updates on when they receive, are preparing and when it ready for pickup. And will also receive text messages. After waiting for what seemed forever with no updates I just went in and it's sitting there ready. Ok fine. I also paid extra for lo mein noodles on 3 separate meals. I ordered 4 total. Well I of course got home to nothing but cheap rice. I don't even care what the food tastes like now. Also the only one that they didn't mess up on was shrimp fried rice so that's pretty easy not to mess up. Except I ordered a large shrimp fried rice and it contained about 7 shrimp in 2 pounds of rice. Never again. At least the new building looks nice compared to the old one. Holy crap. After going to eat my food, which was a two meat plate. I realized there was only a couple of slivers total. Three slivers of chicken and about five slivers of beef in a two entrée plate. Chopsticks is a great place for value. I frequently get the family pack. It has two large entrees w two sides of rice. I usually get an upgrade to lo mein for one of them which currently is two dollars more. It comes w soup or a soda a couple of egg rolls and a couple of the crab Rangoon. Another favorite here is the Mongolian beef. I like that you can add extra meat for a bit more. I like that if you order online you can add things like extra spicy or sub veggies as I don't like baby corn. If you get the special family pack and order online you can pick your two entrees that is new. Currently they have a lunch special. One meat plate w rice and a spring roll for 6.99. I got that today. They forgot the spring roll today but they usually are on point every time. Is it gourmet or Buffett Chinese food no but it brings to mind takeaway from Houston in a good way and an good value to boot. read more

The flavor was the only good thing. The food wasn't hot so the glaze put on, I assume, while just warm wasn't runny but slimy and need I say "snotty". The quality of the chicken was inferior as well. I probably won't return. read more

Sorry for another low review, but this place was very dirty. The man who took our order (cashew chicken with yellow noodles instead of rice), sneezed into his hand and just kept going. The bowls in the back, that were visible, looked crusty & dirty also. I ended up only rating one bite of the cashew chicken meal. It had a nasty taste & my husband had to add some plum sauce we had at home, to make it palatable. I'm sad to give this low review because we were hopeful for a good Asian take out restaurant. UNSAFE AND UNSANITARY- First and last time coming here. The lo mein we ordered was absolutely spoiled- even by smell.... Yet my kids and family had already eaten and when I took a bite I almost vomited. It is straight up spoiled. Like two weeks old spoiled. My husband is an infectious disease doctor and he is beyond upset. Obviously scared me as he talked about endotoxins from spoiled food. We called and got a partial refund when honestly for possible food poisoning it should have already been a full refund as you can no longer trust anything from here. We are in the middle of a PANDEMIC. If someone eats here and gets food poisoning they'll add on to the burden at the hospital when everyone's already burned out and at max capacity - all because a restaurant has no quality control! read more

It will be a very long time before we revisit chopsticks in Hewitt! I've been a longtime fan but after the interaction I just had on the phone with the manager, I wont be returning. My order was completely wrong, and the only way to rectify this (after arguing with me and telling me what was in the box was in-fac what I ordered) her only solution was for me to drive back to the restaurant with the food (not easily done when it's dinner time with kids) and prove to her it was wrong so they can remake it. When I said that wasn't exactly an option right now she simply said "well then have a nice day sir" Poor customer service. I even made sure to say the remainder of our order was correct, this just isn't the sesame chicken and steamed rice I had ordered. Very disappointed. read more

First time trying this place out. I ordered General Tso's and Orange chicken. Idk what this was. When I opened the "chicken" up, it did not appear to be such. It looked like bread or something. Me and my family absolutely LOVE the lo main and the sweet and sour chicken I 100% would recommend for dinner with your family or if you just need something quick, easy and affordable this is the best place and the food is ALWAYS fresh and warm and is out to your car in no less than 5 minutes (on a good day). read more

It was getting close to closing. They were out of some soups but they made me fresh vegetable fried rice and I had orange chicken and four seasons. I have trouble swallowing and they always accommodate with extra sauce, but I also buy additional duck and brown hoisin base sauce they make which I drizzle on my rice as needed and the rest for dipping. Everything piping hot and made to order. This is a fast food stop but it is a good one. When I've been inside it had always been spotless to include the restroom. To me that's another good sign that food is as carefully and cleanly prepared. And when it comes to a late night meal when you're tired or want some good egg rolls or won tons to mosh on while you watch a movie instead of popcorn, we've done this too. read more

Yummy food, and super friendly people! They recognize me every time I drive up with a call in order, even after I moved away, and even out around town. They're great about customizing dishes to whatever you want, and pretty speedy. It's nice that they're open late. The best part is you get tons of food for super cheap. The food here is subpar at best. I have eaten at many Chinese food restaurants, and this ranks as one of the worst. The fried rice didn't even look, or taste like fried rice.
