Arrived 20mins after they "opened" the worker was scrambling to finish opening the store when we walked in. Got our order placed, took about 10 mins for two of our three orders to come out. Took another 8 mins for the last dish to come out. Ordered soup, was lukewarm, the sandwiches were ok, mediocre at best. Definitely expected more for what we paid. read more

Staff was super nice. But food was mediocre. Soup was cold. Not fresh avocado spread. There was a roach dead on the floor, and the guy mentioned their fridge wasn't working. After we ate so far not sick LOL probably won't be back. read more

Stopped in on a random. Wasn't disappointed. You would think you can't f up a grill cheese but you can. Their take on the grill cheese brings it to an eat. The triple threat a good cheese pull. This is cute and quaint restaurant. Small in the inside but worth the food. Service was quick and prompt. You do have to order at the front counter. We had several sandwiches. I had the smoked rotisserie chicken melt and added black berry jam and ranch. 10/10. Excellent buttery toast with plenty of meat. The jam added a sweet taste that was complimented by the house made ranch. My husband got the Roadhouse. It was good. I traded him half of mine. My sister in law got the turkey bacon Swiss. Went there for the first time this evening, ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with ham and some soup. The sandwich was burnt on one side flipped over on the foil covered tray to conceal the poor cooking skills. The cook came out and asked if the food was good my response was it was ~. For a fairly new establishment I was very surprised at the lack of well cooked food, I mean its kinda hard to mess up a grilled cheese sandwich, but the cook of an admitted year of working there messed it up pretty good! Do yourself a favor customers go home and just make your own grilled cheese sandwich, its cheeper in cost and probably cooked to a higher standard. read more

The one we had was absolutely scrumptious and was only around seven dollars and we opted for the free pickle.. We cannot wait to go back.to try something new. The food was really good, we got the mixed fajita plate. The staff friendly and attentive. The only bad part was the wait to get in, we waited probably 45 mins but we did go on a Saturday at lunch. Hands down one of the best in Copperas Cove! I have been there quite a few times, and I have ordered different items on the menu, and they do not disappoint! I have ordered to go and for dine in, and in both those options, the service has been friendly and respectful. The ambiance is great! They play jazz music and oldies or at least the times I've been there and between the ambiance and the great taste in food, it feels like it takes you to an oldies 50's dinner with great tasting food! it has become one of my favorites! And yeah, ok, one of the pics looks like no one is there, but trust me, a few people were in line ordering and some that were eating in the booth next to me. I'll definitely be going back. read more

The kid and I were having a chore day and stopped for lunch. I had heard some mixed reviews about the place but I like to make my own decisions so we came in. We were not disappointed. My husband and went there for lunch today. We ordered a grilled cheese with tomato soup and a BLT. After waiting 30 minutes I asked the cashier if our order had been started. She said she was sorry, that it had not been started. I asked her to cancel the order and refund our money. She canceled the order, but said she needed to call the manager about the refund. She even got the manager David to offer suggestions as well. I decided on the chicken chipotle pesto "which was amazing" thank you David for the suggestion. I enjoy cooking, my wife enjoys cooking, one of my sons is a chef, I worked as a waiter in my youth...I'm a horrible restaurant customer because I judge the cleanliness of the area, the service, the food, and the presentation like I expect from myself or my son and wife. This place was absolutely delicious! I had the northern exposure, which was soooo mouthwatering. My husband had the barbecue chicken melt, which he devoured before I even got a chance to taste it! Both sandwiches were gone before I even thought to take a picture of how delicious they looked lol the toddler even enjoyed his child's grilled cheese which had a very reasonable price! Thanks but no thanks! Our first time there was a total bust. Although my husband's ham/cheese was okay (nothing wrong with it), it was not worth $10. Mine on the other hand, a BLTS, barely had one slice of Swiss in it. I had to hunt for the cheese. It was on white and NOT on sourdough bread as advertised. The tea (sweet & unsweet) was basically water. I dumped the tea and got a soda. I did tell the cashier/attendant about my disappointing grilled cheese and all she could offer was have it done over or "just let the cook know for next time". I had already eaten half and we couldn't stick around for a remake. Plus these kind of sandwiches are not very good cold or reheated. No offer to discount our meal or any other compensation. This is my second time trying this place. So far, the service and quality is consistent. The environment was clean and appealing to the eye, with a relaxing playlist playing throughout the store. The girl at the register is extremely polite and professional. I got the aloha sandwich combo with tomato basil soup. There is also a chip combo option instead of soup. The sandwich itself was amazing, I was worried the pineapple would make it too sweet, but the ham and bacon on it evened it out amazingly. The tomato basil was very rich and had a slight kick to it, not a spicy kick though. Dipping my sandwich in the soup brought the meal to a 15/10! I came in right when it opened and in the half hour I was here, two groups came in so I'm sure this review isn't needed.
