It has grilled chicken, fresh strawberries and blueberries, candied pecans with a fat-free rasberry pecan vinaigrette on mixed greens. It is absolutely delicious and refreshing. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The service is always quick and you never have to wait very long for your order. Whenever I'm in Copperas Cove and want a salad that is my go to place. We are very focused on the Artemis ll mission with NASA, so we found a nice table away from people to enjoy lunch out on Easter. My meal consisted on McAlister Club with substitute croissant and broccoli cheddar soup. Delicious!!! Everything right and even a warm welcome. Great food for our dinners. I had the New Yorker, Pastrami and Corned beef on Marbled Rye Bread, would prefer regular seed rye bread like they do in New York. My wife had the half spud and a half McAlister's club, did not realize a half spud is just one potato, normal serving is two baked potatoes. She loved the potato and had a small amount of her sandwich very filling meal for sure. Our DIL had the half spud and half Pecan Berry Salad she loved it also. Plenty of food all around for all of the meals we had there. Service was quick from time ordering till meal arrived at the table. Place had a great vibe and was very clean and orderly. I have tried this location multiple times and when we first moved to Cove a year ago, it was great. But it had gone downhill since. First, the to-go food quality is not nearly the same as that if you din-in. And this past week, I went in just to order 2 drinks. There was one person in front of me and then a family in front of them. The cashier was finishing up the order for the family and it was clear he was struggling and needed help to take everyone's orders plus make drinks. There was someone, I think, taking a break and asked if he needed help. The cashier did not take him up on his offer and there were multiple other employees just walking by without helping. While it was pretty slow in the restaurant at the time, it should not take 20 minutes for me to be able to order 2 drinks. read more

On June 25, 2025, Me and 2 friends ate at the Copperas Cove, Tx and the food tasted ok, but the next morning I was very ill. After a week I went to the Dr. as I was still sick. Turns out, I have Salmonella. Since I only ate there for lunch, and I did not eat anything afterwards, I can only believe I got it at this location. We dine here at least once/week. My wife and I split the "Choose Two" option as the servings are large enough for a couple of seniors to share. The salads and sandwiches are excellent and both have very fresh ingredients. They have an AARP discount and a rewards program that builds with every visit. If you ever have the chance to stop by a McAlisters Deli ...DO IT!!!! I've been to a couple of them now and I ALWAYS receive great customer service and amazing food!! Today I got the chipotle chicken sandwich with potato salad and my husband got the Italian with Mac n cheese. My saucy chicken sandwich came on a toasted ciabatta bread that is to die for. I myself am not a ciabatta fan usually but here at McAllister's I couldn't imagine myself eating any other bread. It's sweet and tangy and so filling. My husband's Italian sandwich was stacked high with meat and vegetables with a crispy baguette. The meat was juicy the lettuce was crisp the tomatoes are ripe all in all a wonderful bite But it didn't stop there he topped it off with an unsweet tea which surprisingly was not bitter.To drink I got a lemonade and it's pretty good they have different flavors that you can add but today was a plain old lemonade day. read more

Perks- friendly service, lower cost. Cons- my husband loves there baked potatoes but is always hit or miss if they have them. I ordered tableside through the app of course as we're sitting there waiting for the food we hear them say they don't have potatoes. It is the reason we were eating there but my husband switched to a salad which he didn't really want. The kids love their toastie sandwiches. They were short staffed so it took a minute to get the food cause the person tne front was literally the only one also running food and a huge party had walked in. I got the salad with the chicken salad scoop but it was literally 90 to 95 percent lettuce. I love that they offer auntie Anne's mini hotdogs now as a kids meal option. Not bad overall. Sorry to say that I had 2 bad experiences, both concerning with the soup. First I thought the reason my soup was cold was I had it delivered to my work. The second experience was in the restaurant itself. I ordered cheddar broccoli soup. and both occasions resulting in very cold soup. We really enjoy coming here because of their gluten free bread option. There aren't many counter-service restaurants that offer this, so we appreciate them having that choice for us. The service was pretty slow tonight, and the tables weren't really clean. However, they seemed to be understaffed, so we weren't terribly upset. Our family really likes this place due to the healthier options, however every time I order a to go order things get messed up. The first time I ordered the chef salad to go, no croutons at all. The second time I ordered two of sandwiches ( Garden fresh turkey and SW turkey melt) that were supposed to have avocado, neither had avocados. The third time I was charged extra salad dressing because supposedly the girl wasn't sure which dressing I wanted which I clearly stated 3 times and pointed to the menu behind her, olive oil & balsamic vinaigrette. Awful service. Ordered my food to be ready for pick up at 11:30AM. Twenty minutes later, food isn't ready, people are being helped prior to me, or picking up their food after coming in after me. My husband just spent 50 minutes getting dinner for us. I ordered a New Yorker, he ordered the Reuben sandwich. I also added a fruit salad as my side. He got home 5 minutes ago and my sandwich is NOT what I ordered. They gave me the KING CLUB. I HATE Turkey and this sandwich is loaded with Turkey. The fruit salad consisted of 1 piece of cantaloupe, 6 tiny grapes and 3 awful pieces of pineapple that have ZERO FLAVOR. This is the 3rd time this place has messed up our order. NEVER AGAIN. If you can't run the restaurant like it's supposed to be run- DON'T OPEN ONE. I can't afford to blow my money on food I can't/won't eat- all because you're LAZY. If you order something you're expecting to get what you ask for. So when I ordered the chicken AVOCADO blt I'd expect to get what I paid for. As you can probably tell by my obvious capitalization I did not receive avocado on either of my chicken avocado blt's. So not only did they mess up 1 time they messed up twice. You ruined 2 people's meals. If I wanted a regular chicken sandwich I would have ordered one. Also I'm disturbed by the fact they would leave coleslaw sitting out on the online pick up shelf. What if I got caught in traffic and it took me an extra 20-30 mins to come get my food. You expect me to eat coleslaw that has been sitting at room temperature for 30-40 minutes? No thank you. I've dined in and have gotten delivery. Their salads and sandwiches are great! They are a bit pricey, but the quality of food is worth it.

We decided to try the new McAlester's tonight. Very nice and clean inside. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Haley was our server and she was very accommodating, knowing it was our first visit. She also checked on us throughout our meal. I got half a club with the Savannah chopped salad. Both were very good. My wife got a half Reuben with country potato soup. The sandwich was great, the soup was good but not great. More cheese would have been good. Overall a great addition to the restaurants in Copperas Cove. We will be back. read more

I am so glad I gave this store another chance. I appreciate the McAlister's team for reaching out to me after my unpleasant experience. Candace, the manager who took my order, was super friendly and managed to stay professional throughout my experience. She partook is light conversation, making my experience especially pleasant, and she managed to keep control of the staff at the same time. I noticed the way she interacted with her employees, and I really appreciate when a manager can stay firm without coming off as rude and disrespectful. My salad was delicious, and my mom LOVED her French Dip sandwich. Thank you, McAlister's! IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN YET: The store is clean and so are the employees. The macaroni and cheese is delicious, and you must get the lemonade. If you have a less than perfect experience, let the staff know. Went yesterday with my son and it was the worst! We ordered 2 BLT sandwich's and the bacon was the microwaveable kind that was so thin and limp you couldn't even taste it.
