China Café -- 08-28-26…read more I had lunch at China Café with my grandson, and we had an enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was good. You can order from the menu or choose the buffet. We decided to try the buffet, and the food was hot and appeared to be fresh. There was a good variety to choose from, including soups, salads, desserts, ice cream, and many traditional Chinese dishes. Some of my favorites were the coconut shrimp and General Tso's chicken. We both really enjoyed the egg drop soup and hot and sour soup as well. The dining room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating. One nice feature was being able to watch the chef prepare the sushi. There was also a good variety of sushi available. As with any buffet, some days can be better than others. This was definitely a good day! The food was satisfying, the selection was good, and most importantly, my grandson and I enjoyed our lunch together. Overall, we had a good experience and would be happy to come back

Unfortunately, the restaurant still included both in my food. This is especially frustrating because I do not eat pork for religious reasons, and I cannot tolerate onions at all--not even the smell of raw onions. That is exactly why I made sure to leave clear instructions in the order notes. What disappoints me most is that this is now the third time my order has been prepared incorrectly despite the same request being included each time. At this point, I genuinely wonder whether customer notes are being read at all. I am very disappointed with the lack of attention to dietary and religious restrictions. Customers should be able to trust that special instructions will be taken seriously.
