    Beef Broccoli Combo Plate

Delicious, fresh, & clean . The combination plates are the way to go because you get sweet and sour chicken, egg roll, soup, and if you don't want soup you can substitute for an egg roll for extra dollar something, then get to pick another entrée with all that. Service was excellent.

Proportion size is decent and lady was nice but the lo mein was salty asf and a little burnt, the crab rangoon is stale definitely not goin there again

My husband went in for a quick lunch and he loved it. He had been crazing Chinese but it's impossible to get it with me because of my food allergies. He said the food was delicious, the staff was super kind, and it was a fast service. Someone even paid for his lunch.

    Rainbow Fried Rice
    Stephanie A.

We placed an order for Chicken fried rice and Rainbow Rice. The plates were so heavy that we couldn't eat it all in one sitting. The price we paid was incredibly reasonable! The staff is always so friendly when we come in no matter what time of day. The atmosphere is so welcoming and clean. This has been one of my favorite places since I've been in the area for over 20 years.

Always friendly service and good good. Have been coming to Taiwan Dragon for many years and in all those years I've only had one bad meal.

It looked like they expanded their menu since the last time we ate here. We opted for a Shoyu Beef Ramen Soup and a Hot Pot Beef Noodle Soup. We grabbed our water cups and a carafe filled with iced water from their beverage fridge, and chose our table to sit at. We chose a location away from the front entrance, which faces west towards the sun. Our food was quickly brought out to us less than 5 minutes later, and our soups were very good. They have a very spicy broth for their Hot Pot Noodle Soup, which P2 really enjoyed. I was also happy with my shoyu ramen, which I thought was seasoned perfectly. The music here wasn't loud and it was easy to carry a conversation. The interior aesthetics of this place reminded me of a Japanese restaurant, despite this restaurant servicing Taiwanese fare. Unfortunately, they don't sell alcohol here. I would have loved to drink a beer here with its solid vibes. I took off a star because of the blinding sunlight that pours into the space. Each time we came, we had to be strategic on where we sat so that we or our friends didn't have to face the sun. But other than that, Noodly Alley continues to be a reliable choice for authentic Taiwanese food.

The boba itself was perfectly chewy and just sweet enough to complement the drink, not overpower it. I also really appreciated that, even with no ice, they filled my cup completely to the top. Simple, thoughtful detail and it makes all the difference. Service: The staff here was genuinely kind and patient. I asked a few questions about sweetness levels and tea bases (I'm mindful about sugar intake), and they answered every one with care, no judgment, no pressure, no upselling. They made the drink exactly how I ordered it and didn't try to push other menu options on me. That respect and attentiveness go such a long way. Ambiance: Cha Community has such a warm, creative vibe, red brick walls, cozy coffeehouse energy, indie music, local art, and stickers that make the space feel personal and loved. The whole café smelled amazing, and you can tell they've put heart into the details. It's the kind of place that feels like a little pocket of calm and connection in the middle of the day. Overall: Highly recommend stopping here if you're in Waco. The experience was night and day, proof that quality, care, and consistency matter more than anything else. Refer to my Poppa Bear review if you want the comparison, but honestly, just come to Cha Community first.

So, I was telling a friend I was looking for a very good Boba place. She suggested CoCo's, and I got the directions. Imagine my surprise, it was next door to a place I go to regularly. I wondered why I hadn't seen this cafe before. The inside was so cute, it had a playful side and a lounge nighttime side, if that makes sense. I can see being here at night. I bet this place is very busy at night. It actually was busy when I was there. I tried to take my pictures away from people. I ordered the Honeydew Smoothie with the Tapioca Pearls. I have to say those pearls stood out. I never had pearls taste so good; they were so tasty and chewy. I was actually stirring my straw, moving the pearls around to get a lot of them at once to come through the straw. Now, granted, on its own, the pearls were coming through, but I think I got a little greedy. I also noticed there are food items on the menu. I saw more than a few entrees I like, and some I want to try. I want to dry the Rice Ball, Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce, and more. There's so much here to try, and I can't wait. The question is, how did I not know about CoCo's?!

No matter: they're excellent and don't leave me wanting for more. Better yet, you can buy them two at a time, for just $1 a piece, easy to budget for small or large cravings. These are boxy Taiwanese-style pot stickers with a genuine sear on the bottom. Their chewy skins give way to a juicy, umami filling with notes of ginger, garlic, and white pepper; classic, understated, and effective. Definitely spring for some hot chili oil for dipping and you'll have yourself a solid little snack.
