Cha Community started serving food so we made it a point to come by and try their food menu. Their milk teas are still awesome with real tea and different milk choices. The most recent one we've enjoyed was Pandan Coconut milk tea; one with 75% brown sugar boba; the other with coconut jelly. We'll get these again for sure. Some items on their food menu are: Takoyaki Taiwanese Cold Noodles Braised pork rice box Bbq pork bao I'm not a cold noodle person, but surprisingly those were quite delish. Their bun was warmed up and you know how that goes - the dough becomes chewy. We'd recommend the braised pork. This is an internet cafe with wall outlets next to each table for laptop workers. There's indoor and outdoor seating, some cushined chairs, and a comfy couch for loungers. The decor is warm with a nicely painted design. Excellent friendly service tops off the tea cups with helpful information about the teas and options for how they're served. I hope you find this somewhat hidden spot in Downtown Temple and give them a try!

I love this boba shop! It's such a gem on the Temple square where you can study or pick up a quick drink/bite before browsing the shops nearby.

great boba place in Temple. the flavors they offer are really interesting, and non dairy alternatives are not extra. i will say my only critique is that the milk tea tasted a little watered down and the boba wasn't as flavorful/chewy as i like. but this probably the best boba u can get in Temple. i've gotten their wintermelon milk tea, horchata (nondairy), and their pandan coconut black tea. all great options!

I had the braised pork belly box and it was delicious. The slaw, salad and rice complimented the pork very well. The Chai was excellent.

UPDATE: so first off the customer service is phenomenal. I went back, explained what happened with my first drink and they were super helpful in trying to make my second experience more pleasant. I got to sample the drink before fully committing to it and I tried it before leaving the store (unlike last time). This time, I got the Milky Way (with a diary free option) with boba and boom, AMAZING! Great staff, great customer service and good tea! *So I went in and got one of the spring drinks today. Passionfruit green tea and boba, 50% sweet. So the tea flavor was fantastic. However, there were the seeds in the tea and added a crunch I wasn't a fan of. And the boba, was very gummy and too sweet. I just really was disappointed with my drink. I know they're still a newer business so I will definitely give it another shot and maybe try something different next time. The location has a cute vibe to it too

Tasty drinks, INCREDIBLE food and amazing service. Whether you are dining in or grabbing a drink on the go, you won't be disappointed. Took my kids and they loved their dumplings and seasonal house-made horchata! There is something for everyone. Don't miss out on this gem downtown!

GREAT 50-Count Frozen Pork Dumpling order through UBEREATS today.!!! Awesome deal!! What a GREAT portion size. Really reminds me of my time spent in Taipei, Taiwan during the mid to late 90's. Will Definitely order this frozen delicacy again. THANKS for the effortless ordering process.

Jasmine honey green tea w/passion fruit and popping strawberry boba. So refreshing and tasty!

As someone who loves high quality specialty teas, Cha Community is a welcome business in downtown Temple! I chose the jasmine green tea with honey. I then added fresh passion fruit flavoring (seasonal) and strawberry popping boba. It was so refreshing and enjoyable! I like that you can request the sweetness level from 0-100% because I usually like 0-25%. Because there are different seasonal flavor add ins and boba options, I will look forward to going back to try different options! Quaint inside seating and 2 outside seating areas to enjoy high quality beverages!

    Loren S.

Me and my fiancé stopped here because we love boba, and it did not disappoint! Many options and they even ask what sweetness level you would like to allow for an even more custom experience. I got the jasmine milk tea, which I would recommend to anyone who likes green tea. My fiancé got the strawberries and cream drink and it was delicious! Would definitely recommend this place.

It looked like they expanded their menu since the last time we ate here. We opted for a Shoyu Beef Ramen Soup and a Hot Pot Beef Noodle Soup. We grabbed our water cups and a carafe filled with iced water from their beverage fridge, and chose our table to sit at. We chose a location away from the front entrance, which faces west towards the sun. Our food was quickly brought out to us less than 5 minutes later, and our soups were very good. They have a very spicy broth for their Hot Pot Noodle Soup, which P2 really enjoyed. I was also happy with my shoyu ramen, which I thought was seasoned perfectly. The music here wasn't loud and it was easy to carry a conversation. The interior aesthetics of this place reminded me of a Japanese restaurant, despite this restaurant servicing Taiwanese fare. Unfortunately, they don't sell alcohol here. I would have loved to drink a beer here with its solid vibes. I took off a star because of the blinding sunlight that pours into the space. Each time we came, we had to be strategic on where we sat so that we or our friends didn't have to face the sun. But other than that, Noodly Alley continues to be a reliable choice for authentic Taiwanese food.

The boba itself was perfectly chewy and just sweet enough to complement the drink, not overpower it. I also really appreciated that, even with no ice, they filled my cup completely to the top. Simple, thoughtful detail and it makes all the difference. Service: The staff here was genuinely kind and patient. I asked a few questions about sweetness levels and tea bases (I'm mindful about sugar intake), and they answered every one with care, no judgment, no pressure, no upselling. They made the drink exactly how I ordered it and didn't try to push other menu options on me. That respect and attentiveness go such a long way. Ambiance: Cha Community has such a warm, creative vibe, red brick walls, cozy coffeehouse energy, indie music, local art, and stickers that make the space feel personal and loved.
