Of course got my Hojicha (hot) with oat milk and 25% sugar, no boba. It was perfect. It was a little drizzley out and I was stopping to check on my tire situation (no flat!) Had to get a green onion pancake, you just can't resist. This is the quintessential Taiwanese snack, (any-time-day savory snack) that just brings back childhood memories for me. Cha Community started serving food so we made it a point to come by and try their food menu. Their milk teas are still awesome with real tea and different milk choices. The most recent one we've enjoyed was Pandan Coconut milk tea; one with 75% brown sugar boba; the other with coconut jelly. We'll get these again for sure. Some items on their food menu are: Takoyaki Taiwanese Cold Noodles Braised pork rice box Bbq pork bao I'm not a cold noodle person, but surprisingly those were quite delish. Their bun was warmed up and you know how that goes - the dough becomes chewy. We'd recommend the braised pork. This is an internet cafe with wall outlets next to each table for laptop workers. There's indoor and outdoor seating, some cushined chairs, and a comfy couch for loungers. The decor is warm with a nicely painted design. Excellent friendly service tops off the tea cups with helpful information about the teas and options for how they're served. great boba place in Temple. the flavors they offer are really interesting, and non dairy alternatives are not extra. i will say my only critique is that the milk tea tasted a little watered down and the boba wasn't as flavorful/chewy as i like. but this probably the best boba u can get in Temple. i've gotten their wintermelon milk tea, horchata (nondairy), and their pandan coconut black tea. all great options! read more

I came here with my girlfriend during the soft opening. We love boba and I haven't found a good place near temple. They asked us if we had been to their Waco location but we hadn't so we came with a clean slate of expectations. We initially had trouble finding the store because there is not a big sign up. They did have a folding street sign and it's located right next to the Wells Fargo. I got the Milky Way and my girlfriend got the Wacoco. The Milky Way is their version of a Thai tea. I got it at 100% and it was the perfect level of sweetness for me. The Wacoco was a coconut black tea with oat milk and it was good too, but both of us preferred the Milky Way. The Wacoco was at 50% sweetness and my girlfriend thought it was the right sweetness for her. We both got boba in our drinks and it was a good addition to the drinks. We'll definitely be coming back to try the rest of their menu! read more

They started serving food a bit ago, and the food is fantastic. The green onion pancakes are heaven on earth, I could eat them every single day. UPDATE: so first off the customer service is phenomenal. I went back, explained what happened with my first drink and they were super helpful in trying to make my second experience more pleasant. I got to sample the drink before fully committing to it and I tried it before leaving the store (unlike last time). This time, I got the Milky Way (with a diary free option) with boba and boom, AMAZING! Great staff, great customer service and good tea! *So I went in and got one of the spring drinks today. Passionfruit green tea and boba, 50% sweet. So the tea flavor was fantastic. However, there were the seeds in the tea and added a crunch I wasn't a fan of. And the boba, was very gummy and too sweet. I just really was disappointed with my drink. I know they're still a newer business so I will definitely give it another shot and maybe try something different next time. I have been a great customer of Cha since they opened last year. I have been in often and I have done everything I could think of to help promote business for them. Today like so many times I have taken one of my dear friends for lunch. She was even looking at the expensive t shirts to purchase. I went to start the order with my usual cold noodles only to be told there was no food. We immediately left very disappointed and I was embarassed. I got on facebook and left msgs. I called their Waco store where they put much more into the business and asked for the mgr. The man on the phone said actually they are on vacation. I gave him my complaint and he said he would make a note of it. He didn't even know my name. I said forget it I am done. Then I sent an email and within minutes Devon called me and just said he was sorry. He knows me well and that's it?? Our afternoon was ruined and we were there right at 1pm with only 4 customers in there. Devon said what do you want me to do? I don't know but you are the mgr. with a high degree. You would think he would offer to do something right for me. Just like dust he blew me off the way his coworker had just saying well if that's the way you feel! You wonder why you have no business. You have to put into it to get something out of it. You won't last long. There is nothing special about what you have to order...just a convenience to me. read more
