Awesome!!! Ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was super delicious and at a very reasonable price. They make everything when you order it so it takes a little longer but you know it's fresh and made in the shop. I will be coming here again and ordering some of the other options on the menu! They also had a whole menu of frozen drinks which looked really good all at $3-5 each .

Sad. Last two time the hand made ramen was machine made. Looks and tasted like spaghetti

Amazing authentic Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles and ramen soups in College Station? BELIEVE IT!! They serve generous portions of amazing hand-pulled noodles, that are perfectly cooked to al dente and served in a variety of dishes. I had the spicy beef ramen, which featured a generous portion of flavorful sliced beef in an amazing spicy broth that was redolent with garlic, and dusted with cilantro. The spice level of the broth was just perfect, and the spiciness of the broth was balanced with the subtle numbing effect of Szechuan peppercorns. Stir fried noodles dishes were just as delicious - we had one order chicken, one order pork chips, and one order lamb. The brown sauce was delicious and not too heavy, the garlic was exactly right, and the hand-pulled noodles - HEAVENLY. Do not let the humble shop in a 1980s strip center discourage you. The best food can often be found in these small places. This is the best bowl of ramen I have had in years, and since my youngest is attending A&M, this is become a must-return place for us. 5 spicy and authentic hand-pulled stars!

Veggie Ramen

I was in town and craving ramen so we decided to give Twisted Noodle a try. The ramen noodles are literally spaghetti noodles. The egg that should have been soft boiled was fully hard boiled and grey. Broth was fine. It was dead silent in there, we felt awkward talking. Would not return but the spaghetti ramen makes for a funny story I guess.

Best ramen and friend rice I've ever had. Service was friendly and quick. Beautiful tables and lovely atmosphere. I've been dreaming about this ramen since I left.

Bad and slow service with mediocre food. Would not go again. Noodles were also too salty.

The BEST and most authentic Chinese ramen noodle place in town!!! They homemade their noodles just like you would see in China- most people that work there are chinese- the food is flavorful and fresh!! The spicy beef namen soup is our go to!! Can be quite spicy so beware if you don't like spice. The kids love their dumplings which authentically comes with vinegar over soy sauce. They also love just eating the noodles. The service is good. It's a great hole in the wall place- perfect for those cold chilly days whenever you want some sort of warm meal!! They even gave our kids little water cups from the bubble tea cups with the seal so they wouldn't leak. Super friendly staff and wonderful food!! Can't even go anywhere else because whenever I crave ramen, I have to go here!!!

Really tasty noodles and great flavor! The portions are a bit small for the prices but that was fine since I didn't want to eat a lot anyways. I ordered stir fry noodles with beef it was very salty, flavorful, with a bit of spice. I would have liked to have more meat and veggies though. You can watch them pull the noodles as you eat which is very entertaining. Friendly staff, good ambiance, good food with reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this place for those stopping in college station!

Spicy Beef Ramen soup

Great little hidden place for some good ramen! I tried the spicy Beef Ramen Soup and it was pretty good. The soup had good flavor, beef was very well cooked, and the noodles were pretty good. The price was around $11 which is also decent for a ramen. The star off is because it took about 40 mins for the food to come and the service is slow, but it seems like a family business and it's definitely understandable.

Get the spicy beef soup. You don't know what you're talking about, Tani B. Twisted noodle's homemade Ramen noodles are a precious real culinary jewel amid college stations heavily commercialized food scene. Do you expect it to taste like PF Changs? Do you KNOW what UMAMI is? Tani B. doesn't deserve Twisted Noodle, honestly. that review was fake news. You, truly are missing out if you don't allow yourself the service of this MEDICINAL Sacred cultural GEM. And Be patient dudes, it's not McDonalds. Just enjoy the kitchen sounds and relax as if you're sitting on a grassy hill in the countryside in Japan.

Vegetable ramen soup with rice noodles and no egg.

I've been here a handful of times and it's always super delicious, I always get the vegetable ramen soup, but I get it with rice noodles, no egg and vegetable broth. It's always super delicious and both my boyfriend and I love it here. Probably the best soup/broth in CSTAT. Only reason I'm giving this a 4/5 and not 5/5 is because it does take awhile for our order to be taken and brought to us, so if you have a time limit I would definitely order ahead of time to go!

We stopped here on the way to Houston. Saw a picture of the spicy beef noodle soup in a facebook group. It looked good so I wanted to stop here. The spicy beef noodle soup was really good. Was light tasting. The noodles are made there, if I remember right. Very light and soft. Daughter got the chicken noodle soup, son got the shrimp noodle soup, and husband got the pork chop noodle soup. I'm glad I stuck with the spicy beef noodle soup. The chicken noodle soup wasn't bad, but it had a very strong chicken flavor. The pork chop soup literally had a pork chop in it and it was just harsh. It tasted like you were drinking the pork chop and grease from the pork chop. The shrimp noodle soup was good, had a subtle and light tasting flavor. It wasn't over powering like the chicken and pork chop. I'd come back for the spicy beef noodle. Next time I want to try the stir fry spicy beef noodle.

Will do anything for money. I called them on phone to ask if they have vegetarian ramen without egg or meat and the broth is vegetarian as well. She said yes I'll place a pickup order for you and when I brought the thing back home to eat, I found eggs in it. They don't have any vegetarian broth as well I guess. Didn't eat. Don't trust them now.

They did change the menu a bit, but it had what I exactly wanted. We ordered the Szechuan Mala Spicy Rice Noodle Bowl w/ Beef Slices, Popcorn Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and Xiao Long Bao. The noodle bowl is the best. Tons of flavor and ingredients with the vermicelli noodles are just amazing. The popcorn chicken is delicious, nothing special. The shrimp tempura is delicious and has an amazing crunch. The Xiao Long Bao is more of a soup dumpling dim sum style. It was pretty delicious, but it didn't taste really fresh like you'd get from an actual dim sum restaurant. The staff are friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at. Parking lot is a bit small, but you can park on the other side of the buildings where there are more parking.

They have the infamous honeycomb booths, as well as standard tables and chairs. However, the service was terrible and the staff was not friendly. Takoyaki Balls: The dish came out ice cold. I understand this dish can be difficult to fry properly, but given how often it's ordered, the kitchen should be aware of the timing needed. There was an actual piece of ice in every one. Popcorn Chicken: It was crispy, but the flavor was very acquired--it had a strong cinnamon taste that I personally found overwhelming. On top of that, the chicken was extremely salty, making it almost unbearable to eat. Tonkotsu Ramen: I ordered the white garlic ramen. The garlic flavor was overpowering--I prefer a more subtle garlic profile. It was also very salty, to the point where I couldn't continue eating. The egg was ice cold and underwhelming, and the pork was thin and not particularly enjoyable.

Once the table was set, most of us ordered unsweet tea and it was tough to drink. It tasted like stale Whataburger tea. I asked for lemons and Sweet N Low but they only had Splenda. She brought out the sides for our table and the kimchi was okay...nothing that had fermented long enough. The cold radish was a highlight. The potatoes were tough and I did not even try the jelly... For our entrees, all of us got bulgogi except for my mother who got the spicy seafood soup. Our friend tried ordering the sautéed chicken but the waitress literally said, "is it your first time?
