My 10 year old and I were passing through college station on our way home from a school event in Waco and stopped at Bo's for a quick bite. He immediately clocked all the anime decor and was excited to pose with the statue and look at the art on the walls. The staff were attentive, friendly, and kind. Did a door dash pick up on a Monday in February as I was craving sushi and this was next to my hotel. Seems to be a popular spot amongst the A&M student body so I trusted their judgment. Fortunately I was satisfied with coming here and my selections. Coming into the store, it's very anime-themed so be prepared for lots of DragonBall-Z, Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, etc. There's a giant anime character up front who I don't know but seeing it up close, I felt at ease. Upon getting my vegetable gyoza and sushi rolls, I went back to my hotel and ate. I probably could've done without the gyoza (dumplings) as they weren't anything special. Now for the rolls, I did the Jade (red snapper tempura, avocado, spicy mayo, sweet chili) and Mexican (spicy baby lobster, cucumber, cilantro, avocado, jalapeno). Both rolls were amazing; the Jade roll is definitely gonna be something I order again with the snapper tempura having a nice crunch to it. The Mexican roll is delicious but very spicy; you've been warned that your mouth and head will light on fire upon eating this. Mix it with some wasibi and soy sauce if you want to take the flames higher! This place also serves ramen (as you can tell by the restaurant's name), fried rice, skewers, and boba. I thought about ordering some ramen due to the cold weather but wasn't sure if it would hold up properly for a take out. Next time I'm there, I'll order it at the restaurant cause the pictures dont' do it justice as the ramen looks like a must-order. Bo's Ramen is such a cute local restaurant! The sushi is really good and affordable alongside their ramen! I got the tonkotsu ramen but asked for it to be spicy! It had good flavors! Not as rich as some tonkotsu broth I've had but pretty good for the most part. Not super spicy either. The eggs were nice but wish they were more marinated. The service is quick and waitress was really nice! There is plenty of free parking! Easy access next to Target! Definitely worth trying as there's not many Asian restaurants in BCS! read more

Came here for the first time with my kids. Ordered the Garlic Tonkatsu and Tantanmen ramens, Chicken Fried Rice, Baked Mussels, Gyozas, Bryan's Sushi Roll, and the Caterpillar Sushi Roll. Everything was delicious. A tad salty, but great. Overall, a lot of food, flavorful, and not too expensive. We were too full to try any boba, but we'll make sure to eat less so we have room for boba. They have happy hour for ramen as well. Staff are friendly and fast. The restaurant has an anime ambiance that caught my kids attention when we first walked in and saw a solid life sized Zorro from One Piece. We enjoyed our first experience qt bo's- they have a nice variety of options and i love that they have milk tea!! the milk tea was perfect at 25 percent sweetness. We tried the garlic ramen which was tasty- the inside is very cute- when i first entered it smelt like a nail salon to me- not sure if it used to be a nail salon but that smell wasn't the most appetizing. Tasty Tantamen & Chicken Rich ramen. Five stars. The takoyaki wasn't the best I've eaten in BCS, but I'd order it again. The crab rangoons however are the best in BCS hands down. The weekday lunch specials for sushi cannot be beat! I always get the Bo's Special which is 6 pieces of nigiri, 6 sashimi, and a tuna or California roll- SO much food for $16.95! Finally a ramen and sushi spot in Bryan! Been wanting to trying this spot out since Rusty posted about it on Twitter. Called in a proper 10pm to-go meal: - Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen - Crab Rangoons - Seaweed Salad - Steamed Shrimp Shumai - Philadelphia Roll The food was ready quickly, and packed perfectly for safe travel. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was amazing! That Philly roll was top notch, you could tell they used smoked salmon and not just plain salmon. The steamed Shumai was probably my favorite, moist and plump, so good! The rangoons were large and filled with plenty of cream cheese and crab. They didn't get soggy at all. The ramen hit! The right amount of garlic in the broth. The pork was delicious. This will be a weekly spot for dinner. Will 100% be going back. It's great seeing more variety in Bryan restaurants. I really liked the steamed shumai, mango roll, and fisher roll. We were pretty pleased with all of the sushi. The garlic tonkatsu ramen was ok, but not very exciting. If we go back we will stick with the sushi. read more

The third time here. The Garlic Tonkatsu soup is still amazing. I literally finished the last bit of it. The burn-end Tonkatsu, LOVE it! Let's talk about changes. The music was changed from Chinese pop to Japanese pop which is a better fit for its environment. The cookiness of eggs is better than the last time. But, the boba tea is too sweet like the first time, the roasted TEA and milk flavor is not enough. I really hope they can make the milk tea as good as their soup. The price is reasonable, lower than Tanaka and Kyuramen, AND it has the BEST ramen soup in the town. The service is good and comfortable. read more

It was our first time to try Bo's and we were pleasantly surprised by the portion/price ratio! We started off with gyoza, YUM. We then ordered the Mexico and Flaming Lips rolls. The rolls were large in size, made with fresh ingredients and TASTY. We assumed (wrong) that it would be smaller portions due to pricing so we then ordered a spicy ramen and chicken fried rice. They were both plentiful and awesome in flavor. Unfortunately, we were so shocked by how great everything was and the size of everything we only got pictures of our rolls. Our waitress was attentive and super helpful, as this was our first time trying ramen. It's a smaller venue but it has natural light to help it feel open. Saw Rusty's post a knew I had to try it. It's a little slow with how busy it is but the food is really good I got the chicken ramen and it was amazing. My boyfriend got the you pick 3 rolls for the lunch special and he liked the spicy crab roll the most he also got the salmon roll and spicy tuna. We got a few drinks: watermelon passion fruit tea which was delicious I didn't really expect to like it much, bf god mango dirty milk and finished it fast so I'd think he likes it. My friend got the red bean milk tea he didn't like the texture but likes the flavor he hasn't had red bean before so I'm not shocked. Overall super well priced, the staff is super sweet and checks on you frequently. I recently checked out Bo's which is new to me (and seems to be new to the area) and I was really impressed. I had the beef udon noodles, and they were delicious. The noodles were just right, and the beef was tender and tasty. The broth was flavorful and really brought everything together. I also got a properly made and tasty bubble tea, which isn't super easy to find in a smaller Texas town. The restaurant has a cozy vibe, and the staff were super friendly. The service was okay. Our server would forget things during service but he was apologetic about it. He also asked us if we wanted to-go containers when we were a little bit through our food so I felt rushed even though we weren't in there very long. The food was also alright. We both got the chicken ramen and calamari, it was good but nothing to write home about. We ordered drinks and they were out of boba, so coffee jelly was recommended to substitute. I'm assuming it's made with Vietnamese coffee but it was so rough. Both of us tasted it and deemed it was undrinkable for us. It was so strong and bitter I couldn't stop myself from making crazy faces, but maybe I'm just used to American coffee. I strained the coffee jelly out at home but couldn't even drink the milk tea either since the jelly left a strong taste. For as much as we paid, I don't think this place impressed us enough. read more
