I love putting in a good word for all businesses, but unfortunately I cannot with this one. The quality of the meal made me feel like I wasted my money. I ordered a shrimp egg roll and sweet & sour chicken with fried rice (which is my favorite entree to order). The shrimp egg roll was very good, but the sweet & sour chicken and fried rice wasn't good at all. Both the chicken and rice were dark as if it was over cooked or maybe cooked with old grease, and both had an unfamiliar taste. It did not have the signature flavor that I am familiar with from the other chopsticks locations I have had. Ordered the plate with 2 entrees and noodles. I picked general tso chicken and beef and broccoli for those entrees. The general tso chicken has no spice to it at all. It honestly just tasted like orange chicken. Which i don't care for. I like to get general tso chicken in general specifically for the spice. So that was disappointing. Have I had better Chinese food, most definitely, but for the price point, serving size, and flavor you can't go wrong with this place. This hole in the wall joint is probably best ordered to go, as the place itself could use some upgrades. It also had a vibe of a mall Asian spot as the menus offered combo meals to your liking, and what made this place better than that experience is your order is made fresh for you. I had the orange chicken with steamed rice and all meals come with a tasty spring roll. It had just the right amount of spice and the peels in the sauce were so thin and soft it actually made it taste better if you were able to get one with a bite. Something that would have kicked this up a notch was to invest a bit more a better quality soy sauce, it's probably the only reason I gave it three instead of four stars. After a long day of driving, 11 hours, we finally got to our kids new apartment with the u-haul truck. Everyone was starving so we decided to order from Chopsticks in Robinson. The House Lo-mien was really flavorful, and full of meats. The Beef & Broccoli did not disappoint either. We also had the Chicken & Garlic, it was really delicious. The Teriyaki Chicken sticks are excellent, and they don't skimp on portion sizes! The family that is running/working this location were really nice and seem to take great pride in the product they serve. Fuck this shit my food looked good ,but it had the weirdest taste to it. I was chilling with my friends there and our food came. Mine was Sesame chicken with low mein , my guy friend had orange chicken and fried rice and my other friend got sweet & sour chicken with steamed rice. Along with that we got those spring rolls an those crab Rangoons those weren't bad. But the orange chicken tasted like caca an the rices didn't even taste good they tasted bad with all the sauces we where provided. The noodles where good and the sesame chicken too. The service was weird. I had gotten sweet tea ,but I had to make my own??? That is weird like what the hell is it church??? But besides that my guy friend had gotten lemonade and it tasted like the lemonade from the carnival that gives you bad dirrahea. Just get the bottled drinks if you still don't listen to this warning. An don't forget about the ambiance it looked like and felt like they where about to fall apart at any moment there was boxes everywhere the atmosphere was real stuffy. Nope. The reviews were promising, so I thought I'd give it a shot. We usually go to Happy Wok off of 19th, but this place was significantly closer to us. The food was extremely bland. Like sooo bland. The meat wasn't crispy. It was hot and fresh, but still soggy and fatty. The lo mein was absolutely disgusting and had no flavor. The only two things I liked were the fried rice and egg roll. I'll stick with Happy Wok even though it's an hour round trip. read more

One of the best Asian restaurants that you will find in Waco. The prices are so cheap and the portions size big so you're really getting your money's worth. This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Waco. We have tried many Chinese restaurants but none compare. You can call ahead so it will be ready when you get there. They are always smiling when we walk in and everything is made fresh. The Lo Mein is the best. The prices are very good. We usually have a fairly high bill but we eat off the leftovers for several days so the long term price is very reasonable. read more

When I was placing my order I asked about certain ingredients in the items I ordered and when I got the food the ingredients were totally different from what I was told. Don't order any thing chicken unless you are a fan of chicken skins. My to-go order of chicken and rice soup contained no chicken at all, just a lot of chicken skins with the rice, The orange chicken was about 2/3 skins and 1/3 chicken. I couldn't eat very much of it, so I offered it to my dog. Even my hungry puppy dog wouldn't eat it. Never again for me at the Robinson chopsticks. read more
