    I never leave bad reviews, but this experience was horrific and the actions MYPETCHICKEN took made…read moreit even worse. Ordered 9 baby chicks. Paid 75 dollars for shipping and it took two days to get to California. Baby chicks didn't look great out the box. My son's favorite died within 24 hours. One died in the middle of the night, and one mypetchicken recommended I separate (additional cost of second heat plate, feeder, waterer, etc) ....before ultimately dying. I accurately reported the death of my three chickens and emailed asking for a refund. The company offered to mail replacement chickens. I didn't think this was an option, and told them that, but they said it was and confirmed they would mail me replacement chickens. After confirmation, I informed my son that we were getting replacement chickens and he was overjoyed to be receiving another "Chicken Jockey" (as he had named his favorite chicken). Please understand that the original Chicken Jockey had died in front of him as he hadn't left the brooder room for hours once he realized Chicken Jockey was sick. We even had a funeral for the original Chicken Jockey. Accordingly, receiving a replacement Chicken Jockey was a big deal. Today, they emailed me to let me know that they had counted wrong and made a clerical error and they would not be mailing replacement chickens. To say I'm beyond disappointed and upset is an understatement. I understand clerical errors happen, but I accurately reported my chickens, requested a refund, and mailing new chickens was offered to me. For them to state OOPS without trying to make it right was terrible customer service and I will not be ordering from them again. I emailed them back explaining my disappointment but they clearly don't care at all. I highly recommend you go a different direction when ordering chickens to avoid a situation such as mine... The only positive I can think of at this point is that with my 33% baby chick death rate... there is a good chance Chicken Jockey could have died A SECOND TIME and that would have been as bad as telling him a second Chicken Jockey isn't coming (without me paying another 75 dollars in shipping for a 12 dollar baby chick). I should note that I also picked up 5 babies from a feedstore when 3 of the mypetchicken chics died and they have had 0 problems so I do not believe the deaths were in any way associated with my setup.... To summarize it all... recommend when starting out that you definitely look local....as this whole experience has been beyond traumatic. I also recommend that you NEVER EVER order from my pet chicken as they send sick chickens, are unable to count, and don't stand by what they say.

Ok... at that point you call the client and see what they would like to do. You emailed at 10:50, we responded 11:20 and you still didn't ship the chicks. Looking at the review tho on how they die, kind of happy we just refunded our order. This is a terrible, disorganized company. They wanted to push our order out 2 more weeks to ship. We had already waited 2 weeks since we selected the furthest date to ensure variety!

    I stopped in Well Bred and was happy to see a well-stocked, organized store with some quality…read moreproducts. I discussed a few topics with a SEEMINGLY knowledgable gentleman at the cash register. I had an appointment up the road and came back after I was done. I had left a message with my dog's dermatologist regarding a supplement (Adored Beast) recommended by the salesman at Well Bred. I had some questions regarding antlers. My dogs had 2 different experiences from 2 different sources. The first pair of antlers broke after 2 or so weeks. The second pair never broke but have worn down significantly. I mentioned that the previous antlers were whole and approximately 7-8 inches long. He asked, "How large are the dogs?", "Are they aggressive chewers?" A puppy, 35 lbs..., and a 2-year-old, 55 lbs. They are aggressive chewers, in my opinion. The man suggested split antlers in the largest size, "more bang for the buck," he added. I happily paid the exorbitantly high price of $80 and change for the pair. Fortunately, I monitored them while they worked on the antlers. Approximately 10 minutes later, they had each broken huge, pointy shards off the antlers. This is not normal. The price aside, why would Well Bred sell something so potentially dangerous? Why would anyone be encouraged to buy something that could have very well landed my dogs in the emergency room? I called the next day and spoke to a woman I believe to be the manager. She apologized profusely and suggested maybe I should consider a more appropriate chew object for my dogs. Oh really? That's why I came to your store and had a lengthy discussion with your sales person. The last antlers I bought NEVER broke. I was told they are not supposed to. I no longer trust the advice of the sales help at Well Bred on any topic. The star is for a neat and clean store.

    The staff here is super helpful and friendly. My dog was very comfy here. They have lots of treats…read moreto choose from. Some better than the major pet stores. They have a groomer there too, appointment needed, prices look good. One stop shop for my dog. This is my new place!!
