Rooms were clean and cozy and they provide you with things to make your hikes at Acadia a little bit easier! They provided blankets for sunrise at Cadillac, flashlights, and even gave us a grab and go breakfast treat when we missed breakfast. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a lovely little treat waiting in our room, which set the tone for a thoughtful and relaxing visit. The room itself was immaculate - spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well appointed with nice toiletries included. The varied daily breakfasts were a true highlight. Each morning started with a glass of fresh juice served in nice champagne glasses. Something different was served each day and all of it was delicious, expertly prepared with an elegant presentation that made the experience feel extra special. The common area was equally inviting, offering tea, coffee, and light treats throughout the day, and providing a perfect space to unwind. Service throughout our stay was very good and efficient, with every detail handled seamlessly. The owners are meticulous about everything - this is a place that clearly takes pride in both comfort and hospitality. 10/10, would absolutely recommend.

Delicious, creative homemade breakfasts - always a huge spread with fruit, two kinds of baked goods, and one dish of eggs/sausage. Coffee and juice are plentiful. After breakfast, there are always cookies and extra baked goods sitting out in the foyer/dining room if you want a snack with your afternoon tea/coffee. 2) Rooms are extremely comfortable and homey, and very clean. 3) Karen, the innkeeper, is extremely friendly and attentive, and always gives the best advice on what to do, where to eat, and where to find the less-traveled yet most amazing trails. She always chats with incoming guests to find out what they're looking for in their trip to Maine, and gives great suggestions on how to get what they want out of their vacation. Honestly, what else could you want in a B&B?

And no other greeting or acknowledgment that this was a hotel. I explained the situation and the person told me they will not refund and that it's unethical for me to ask for a cancellation. They yelled over me and finally offered a partial refund, in the event someone else will take the room.... He eventually hung up despite me asking to speak with an owner or manager and has since not answered my last 5 calls over the course of several hours. Stay far away and don't be lured in by shockingly low rates compared to legitimate hotels in Bar Harbor. I should have known it was a trap when they did not show up on maps.

The reviews are all great and that is for a reason. The place is awesome. The location is awesome. The hosts are awesome and last but not least, the breakfast is awesome. The rooms have great views and the beds are very comfortable. It is super relaxing too. Luckily, the weather cooperated with sunny and temps in the 70s. We even saw a bear while taking a hike in Acadia. Check this place out and you won't regret it. That is IF you get a reservation. Everyone wants to go here! Hint: Book early as they are only open from May to October! We hope to go back next year. Jim/Margaret Clemmens Towson, Maryland.

We were informed once we got there that dogs were not allowed onto the hotel property and were not allowed to be left in the room. So we were stuck not being able to enjoy the beautiful view or lv the dog to go out to eat. I understand their reasoning for not disturbing other guests but I would not hv booked this hotel if I had known in advance. It was an expensive cottage that really cramped our vacation. Great breakfast.

The inn itself is beautiful and majestic and pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful property with beautiful green lawn leading to Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. I would have loved the chance to talk with them more- but we were on the go. Breakfast the next morning was this amazing homemade bread with melted Gouda cheese and fresh tomatoes with eggs any style topping it off. Unbelievable. And it started with fresh watermelon and kiwi plate with a coconut lime drizzle. I did not want to leave. Kristi met us as we checked in and provided a warm welcome, even a warm send off by providing us muffins to go for our early flight. My fiancée and I greatly enjoyed our stay and are hopeful to one day return to Bar Harbor and Saltair Inn.
