The place was very charming and the staff were so sweet. The breakfast was the best breakfast we've had anywhere before- it was our favorite part of every day (which is saying something in bar harbor). We also had to leave for home early in the morning on our last day and they prepped us breakfast sandwiches, fruit, and bars to go. Tea time was also an adorable touch in the afternoon- we would go sit in there and play cards. So relaxing and homey. We already want to go back!

Cereal, small blueberry muffins along with bagels & toast were there for people who just wanted a light breakfast. 2 juices available- A wonderful way to start your day. Day two breakfast was an omelette with bacon & fruit or blueberry pancakes with fruit & bacon. Checking in was easy, we called the number at the front desk and someone came to help us. We even got a late night snack (chocolate mousse) to bring up to our room. The inn is a cute, quaint little house that feels very warm and homey. Our room had a bed with a giant wooden bedframe and the amenities were clean and simple. We got a pair of super comfortable robes too! Now, let's talk food. Every day, you go downstairs into a cute little parlor/tea room. There's always a sweet option and a savory option, and everything is made fresh in house. I mean it when I say these were some of the best breakfasts I've had in my life! Pancakes, waffles, French toast, breakfast quiches... always with a healthy side of fresh fruit and some carb or meat. I seriously looked forward to waking up every day just so I could find out what the breakfast options were. My husband likes sweet and I like savory so we always each ordered one and shared. A NIGHTMARE. Unresponsive and dishonest owners. No security or locks on outside doors. Overpriced scam. Oh, and no front desk attendant either...they leave site early evening and don't answer emails! These entitled hucksters need to be reported. Do not patronize. You have tons of other options in Bar Harbor!

These cabins and the lodges are adorable, comfortable, and simplistic to truly enjoy nature. We stopped in the main lodge once and loved seeing the inside. Our cabin was perfect for our honeymoon and busy days of hiking and exploring Acadia National Park. The smaller cabins have all you really need. The bed and sheets were insanely comfortable. The main window and the outdoor patio faced sunset so we enjoyed watching sunset each night and noticed several other cabins did too. There were 2 stools and a table with a coffee maker and mini fridge. The room came with a small space heater but it really did warm up the space if you're prone to getting cold. The bathroom and towels were perfect! The owners are so sweet in communicating over email leading up to our stay with any questions, and their texts with recommendations on hikes, parking, exploring, and restaurants truly helped shape our day! We would love to come back someday!!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing stays I've ever had…read more The only positive thing I can say is that the view from the back of the room was beautiful. Unfortunately, everything else was a major disappointment. First, this is not a cabin that it's simply a motel-style room that only looks like a cabin from the outside. There isn't even a TV in the room. We also had no hot water for an entire day, which is completely unacceptable. The mattress was so lumpy and uncomfortable that I barely slept during our stay. Honestly, based on the condition of the room and everything we experienced, I believe we deserve a refund. The room was poorly maintained. The bathroom sink clogged almost immediately every time the water was running, making it frustrating to use. The shower was unbelievably small. If you're taller than about 5'5", you're going to have a difficult time fitting comfortably. There was barely enough room to move. The electrical outlets were so loose that my phone charger wouldn't stay plugged in overnight, leaving me with a dead phone the next morning. Even the entry door was badly scratched and looked like it had been damaged by a dog. The price is outrageous for what you actually receive. Be sure to read the fine print before booking. You're given the choice of either allowing a $500 hold on your credit card or paying an additional nonrefundable $35 per night. For that extra charge, all you get is Walmart Great Value coffee. For the amount this property charges, I expected a much higher standard of accommodations and service. If you're planning to visit Bar Harbor or Acadia National Park, be aware that this property is about an hour away, which is much farther than many people might assume when booking. Overall, aside from the beautiful view, this stay was absolutely not worth the money. Between the lack of hot water, uncomfortable mattress, clogged sink, tiny shower, maintenance issues, loose electrical outlets, unexpected extra fees, and distance from the main attractions, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others. This was one of the worst lodging experiences I've had, and I genuinely believe we should receive a refund because the accommodations were nowhere near worth what we paid.

Every morning, hot coffee, tea, juice and continental breakfast were ready in the lobby. A cozy space to chat with staff and other guests before we started our day!
