Okay, so this was a fun thing to try out once. I don't think I need to go back. It's kind of gimmicky. I mean, I think they would do a great job for some chocolate-covered strawberries for Valentine's Day or some special day in a relationship. I think they would make nice gift things. But, to just come in and have some dessert, I think it's a bit overpriced and the quality is really not the best. There were two of us. We had a crepe and a waffle. The waffle was good. Three kinds of chocolate drizzled over the top and some Oreos, too. 13 bucks. The crepe, Nutella and cheesecake on it. 14 bucks. And it was sub-par. Really, one of the worst crepes we have tried. There are a few tables inside this location. But mostly it seems like a lot of take it to go kind of action. There were several DoorDash and Postmates delivery people walking in and out. Also, when we got there, the employee didn't address us. Then, eventually asked if we wanted to order something. We said yes and then she called for employees from the back to come out and help. As much as I enjoy my share of sweets, I can say this place is maybe just OK to fulfill a craving? It's pretty darn expensive and the wait time can be quite long. They do have some unique items and make mini pancakes or crepes fresh, and definitely smother everything in an abundance of chocolate. The portions are nothing to rave about but considering how much chocolate is added on top I would say it can still be very filling. Upon entering, there was about 3 people behind the counter but they seemed too busy to acknowledge or greet new customers. I definitely saw a good amount of take out outdoors (for doordash and such) so I can understand that getting slammed with orders may take up the associates time. However, the associates did seem more focused with chatting among each other instead of churning out orders (although I will say, they were extremely nice) but I did end up waiting just over 15 minutes for them to prepare my brownies on a stick and lava cake. The brownies on a stick are exactly what they sound like, and it's maybe several pieces of a brownie covered in your choice of chocolate. Unfortunately the brownies are pretty small, so at $8 you're probably better off getting a fresh made item (the brownies did taste good but it's also just a pre made item that they just make into a kabob). The lava cake was underwhelming, as the cake just tasted ok and had very little chocolate compared to the rest of their menu items. It's almost as if the top of the cake just has a tablespoon of chocolate, vs an actual gooey melted center. The scoop of ice cream was also on the smaller side, and is not anything special. I felt mainly disappointed in the price and speed of service, since the items they prepared are basically premade and should not take nearly as long to prepare as they did. I had other folks get their order before me which was also slightly frustrating. Overall, might be a good late night dessert place but not my number one choice. read more

Good fruit, batter, and chocolate for everything. I got the mini pancake plate which came with 40? Mini pancakes. It might have been less but damn, I ate that sh*t up haha. I was thinking of eating a few and saving the rest for others but each one was so small and fluffy , it was hard for me to stop eating it. Truthfully the food is 3.5 stars, but I rounded up for the variety they provide. I was craving a late night dessert and thankfully this place was open! First off I love the concept, they sell a variety of chocolate desserts as well as international chocolate bars not commonly found in the US. They make each hot item fresh to order and you get to see them make it which is always exciting! However the food items could be improved upon. The waffles were dry and dense. They didn't have a good crisp/chew at all. I made the mistake of taking a big bite of it with Nutella and it was a gooey dry mess. The crepes were slightly better, but felt a bit gummy/limp. I think they could have benefited from being cooked a bit more for added texture. The pancakes were my favorite since unlike the others they should be soft and fluffy. If this place could improve their texture/batter I would definitely want to come back. However currently given their pricing ($5 to add on Nutella!, $2 to add cookie crumbs!) I would reconsider. I will note that they were quite generous with their strawberry portions. read more

Way too expensive !! Got a waffle with Belgium chocolate and cookie butter drizzle topped with a scoop of ice cream. Costed about $15, definitely NOT worth the price. *Review for Coffee ONLY* I'd give this place 0 stars if I could for their coffee. While yes, coffee is not their main focus here, I thought I'd be able to get decent coffee since their menu includes a variety of different coffee types (latte, mochas, cappuccino, espresso, etc.) That was a grave mistake - ordered 2 different cappuccinos and both were absolute trash. Ordered a plain cappuccino with soy milk and another cappuccino with Belgium Milk Chocolate - something the barista/server said they could do (fyi was charged an extra dollar for but that was fine). In the end both drinks were: 1. So incredibly hot, we could not even attempt to drink it until 15 min later. Our first sign that drink was made incorrectly. I mean they were hot enough we had to wrap napkins around the cup holders to even hold the cups. If this had spilled on anyone, it would have been a definite injury. 2. Tasted like burned drip coffee, which means the barista overdrew the espresso shot. 3. Had ZERO foam and the cups were filled with milk. Meaning we were given terrible lattes not cappuccinos. Ultimately, I believe this location does not properly train their workers on how to use their espresso machine and how each type of coffee is made. If this is how coffee is served here, I honestly think they should take it off the menu completely and focus on their chocolate covered items. Will not be returning. read more

CHOCOLATE! This little place is located in the corner of a strip mall just off the 405 and has a handful of tables inside. Although they do offer a good selection of imported chocolate bars this is mostly a place to get a waffle/pancake/crepe covered in high quality Belgian chocolate. They also offer cookie butter as a coating option. The young woman who was behind the counter on an early weekday afternoon (my receipt says "Lina") gave friendly, personal, fun, and informative service. She really took the time to explain the different offerings and to help determine what I might like best. I ended up getting a dark Belgian chocolate hot mocha plus a waffle covered in dark, milk and white chocolate. The waffle was superb and the chocolate sauces covering it were presented beautifully and the flavor confirmed them to be of excellent quality. The deep, dark chocolate infused within my mocha was fantastic - unlike a coffee shop that makes a mocha with the coffee in forefront with notes of chocolate this had the earthy dark chocolate in front and the coffee a step behind. You really need to love chocolate to appreciate this place! I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of what you get. One of the owners was there during my visit and I enjoyed this place enough that I wanted to personally congratulate her but she was busy interviewing potential employees. I only hope whoever she hires provides the same superb customer service that I received during my visit! read more

Very yummy and satisfying. IMO the strawberries are the best I've had in a great while, sweet, large and fresh! The only thing I would do differently would be to ask for less Nutella on my waffle but that's not a negative ding (just a little too overwhelming for me). The place was very clean and inviting. Place used to rock and always be busy but now it's dead and the quality has gone in the tank. Worst tasting dessert I've had here in two dozen times over the past several years since they opened. Then I bought a candy bar that tasted old and sure enough it had expired two months ago. Staff is not trained or empowered to handle such a minor situation and had to call the owner. If you can believe it they were told to tell me that European chocolate lasts several months past the expiration date and I wouldn't get a replacement or refund!!! My next report after this will be to the county health department. Never coming here or recommending this place again. At least I'll save $50-$100 and thousands of calories per visit. read more
