Service- fast, friendly Interior- clean, comfy to sit and chat When I get froyo I always get plain tart - it's my favorite. We got the regular size with just plain tart, it was so good! Toppings that were also delish: cookie dough, brownie bites, strawberries. I heard their pb flavor was good. Would come back to try! read more

I want to start by saying my family loves Golden Spoon. We have been coming to various locations for many years. That being said, we came on a Friday night and there was one worker. There were 5 parties ahead of us and she was filling door dash orders in between each customer. We had to wait over 30 mins to get helped. That is unacceptable for them to leave this poor worker alone on such a busy night. read more

Small delicious froyo shop! A lot cheaper than Yogurtland! ~$3-7 for single serving and large sharable servings of froyo. They had a dairy free flavor and no sugar added flavor also! Creamy and delicious! They do offer samples of their froyo flavors, but the only downside is that it isn't DIY so you can't scoop the toppings or get the froyo on your own. Toppings cost an additional $2 :,) read more

Clean frozen yogurt shop that let's the workers give you samples instead of own self-serve. They have limited flavors but my favorite is their peanut butter! Has a nice nutty taste and the consistency of the froyo is very creamy. Not icy at all. I love how much they give you for their size. I got the mini (~$5) which you can pick up to 2 flavors but I chose to stick with PB. The size is huge the size of your hand (as you can see in my picture below). They have tables in their mini area and give you a lid to take to go as well. They also had toppings for extra charge but I stuck to just the froyo. This is a no froyo shop that does the job taste wise and expect simple flavors and options. read more

It's been years since I have been to this chain! Mostly because we never had a Golden Spoon very close to where we lived. Now there is one practically in walking distance! I'm not sure if they are all run differently but I remember another Golden Spoon being self serve. Maybe they changed it after the pandemic but honestly, I'm fine with it not being self serve. I never mastered using the froyo nozzles, lol. We just happened to go on a Friday night and apparently there was a special going on where instead of $1.95 for 2 toppings it was only five cents extra! Worth it! The employee was even kind enough to put the toppings on the side for my girls in case they didn't like what they chose (yes, it happens with kids all the time). The soft serve was absolutely delicious. There was a good variety of flavors, too! I got the chocolate and. Peanut butter in a mini cup and it was plenty! They fill the cup so high honestly I didn't need any bigger of a size. We will definitely be back again soon! Most likely on a Friday because that $5 mini cup deal is totally worth it! read more

Came for a little treat. My first impression was ooooooo this is the first time I go to a froyo place and it's not self serve. Not a biggie tbh The menu was pretty simple and straightforward. Will say flavors are a tad bit limited but nothing wrong with that. Makes choosing easy. Am I right. I was debating between a few flavors and they gave me samples!! Always nice to see. I ended up opting for Original tart which for me was a perfect everything for this flavor. Was too sour or sweet. A good balance. And I also got and watermelon Sorbet and as also pretty refreshing to me. So both were a good combination. They had a few topping and I ended up getting mochi as well. The portion was pretty generous. Again I think the portion might vary based on the person but for my mini it was quite enough!!! The inside was super clean. Has a bit of seating, and had a cute little back drop. And it was pretty fast paced at least to me. And the girls were helpful. Would def try again and try out flavors since they switch them out :)) read more

I haven't been to a Golden Spoon in forever so this was a nostalgic excursion! We came after lunch and got there at a good time before the crowd flocked in. The place is clean and they have a cute backdrop for pictures. The staff was nice and efficient. We ordered the strawberry and salted caramel froyo in a cup. We got the smallest size but it was still a generous portion. Strawberry- This was refreshing with a good mixture of sweetness and tartness that tickles your tastebuds. Salted Caramel- Rich and creamy with a deep caramel flavor. The base ice cream had the perfect texture. Great place for something sweet! read more

This last visit, Vania, welcomed us, offered samples and had a great overall vibe and outstanding customer service. Deeeeelish So glad to see Golden Spoon is back in play. Now I have one by me on Jeffrey in Irvine and now this lovely location in Tustin on Irvine Blvd. My sister and I went around the world that day and last minute I pulled a fast right into the shopping center. Walked right in and was greeted immediately. The service here is stellar. Both employees, younger dude and young lady were nice and the young Sir was extra chipper. Great options on flavors and toppings bountiful! The one topping I wish they had and it's hard to describe were these crunchy brown ashy looking bits that I used to have back in the day. They may have been from Penguins lol but either way, I could've sworn Golden had them too. Anywho, the servings are generous and everything is fresh! I walked out of there a happy camper and killed my ice cream in mere minutes once I got home :D We will definitely be back and I wish that location much success read more

Finally got to try Golden Spoon. This frozen yogurt chain almost tastes like cool whip sometimes and leaves kind of a strange film aftertaste. I always appreciate the ability to sample as many flavors as I need. The caramel was a little too sweet for me but great flavor, the marshmallow was very light and probably the most cool whip like. I really enjoyed the tart since you can never go wrong with that flavor. Their deals are great, and great portion and not too expensive. I always prefer a smaller portion for less $, and getting a mini allows for two toppings but I didn't get any. Definitely another yogurt spot I'll be a frequent visitor for. read more

Just to be clear, it is $1.75 for unlimited toppings that will fit in your cup, and you can ask for a small cup on the side for toppings, too so you can continue to add them as you're eating. I made the mistake of only getting sprinkles for my daughter my first time and paying $1.75 for them... oops. The portion size is really generous. The mini size is enough for me and my little to share. The yogurt goes approximately and 1.5 times the height of the cup! Depending on the employee, how much you get is pretty inconsistent. Within the same visit, the amount was significantly different between my friend and I because two different people served us separately. And, very different from my first visit. Perhaps this is something they're still working on as it recently opened! read more

The mint and chip is basic. Nothing too much about it. My kids like it, so I got it. Average 3/5. The rose ice cream tasted like a rose, it was pretty good and very floral. The disappointing part is I was hoping the ice cream would be shaped like a rose as depicted on the picture. Nope, just a scoop and left it as is. 5/5 for taste and 0/5 for presentation. The milk and cereal one was actually pretty good. Especially with Frosted Flakes in it. It literally taste like cereal. 5/5. Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt in Tustin is a gem for anyone craving a delicious and satisfying treat. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a clean and inviting atmosphere, with a bright, modern design that makes it perfect for a quick stop or a leisurely hangout. The frozen yogurt here is consistently top-notch. They offer a delightful variety of flavors, from classic options like creamy vanilla and rich chocolate to more adventurous choices like strawberry kiwi and pistachio that continue to change seasonally. What really stands out, though, is their commitment to quality. The yogurt is smooth and perfectly balanced in sweetness, with a satisfying creaminess that's hard to beat. What truly sets Golden Spoon apart is their topping bar. It's a well-organized and generously stocked display of fresh fruits, crunchy nuts, and a plethora of syrups and sauces. Whether you're a fan of simple toppings or you like to create elaborate combinations, the variety here ensures that you can craft your perfect yogurt cup every time. A hidden secret which many may not know is their special discount days: Milkshake Monday (50% off), Free Topping Tuesday, and Waffle Wednesday (50% off). These amazing deals allow family and friends to come in and enjoy their delicious frozen treats while being cost friendly. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations or assist with any questions. Their service is quick, and they're meticulous about cleanliness, which adds to the overall positive experience. If you're in the Tustin area and looking for a frozen yogurt spot that delivers on both flavor and quality, Golden Spoon is a must-visit. It's an indulgent treat that manages to feel both wholesome and decadent. Highly recommended. read more

Last Wednesday, my friend and I decided to check out Golden Spoon, which is conveniently located in a Trader Joe's parking lot. I should mention that parking can be a bit tricky, especially on busy days, so just keep that in mind when you plan your visit. Once we made it inside, we were charmed by the cute and quaint atmosphere--it felt like a cozy little yogurt shop. There were about three small tables available inside where you can enjoy your treats, along with a bench outside for those who prefer a bit of fresh air. The staff generously serves your yogurt for you, and I was pleasantly surprised by the hefty portion I received. We visited on a Wednesday, which meant a lovely dollar-off deal, and on Tuesday, you also enjoyed free toppings! It's great to know that you can snag some sweet midweek deals that last all day. The highlight of our visit was definitely the friendly staff. The young man who helped us was super accommodating and even let us sample a few flavors before we made our selections. When I tried the salted caramel, I was blown away! The flavor was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweetness and just the right amount of saltiness to enhance the caramel's depth. It had this indulgent, buttery taste that was so comforting, and it lingered beautifully on the palate without being overly cloying. It's honestly the best salted caramel I've ever had! Overall, Golden Spoon exceeded our expectations, and I can't wait to go back for more of that delicious yogurt--especially that incredible salted caramel--and fantastic toppings! Just remember to be mindful of the parking situation and seating options. Highly recommended! read more

I recently stopped by Golden Spoon for some frozen yogurt, and it was a satisfying treat. The yogurt itself was smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of tang. I chose the classic tart flavor, which was refreshing without being too sour. They also had a good variety of toppings to choose from, including fresh fruit and crunchy options, which added a nice contrast to the creaminess of the yogurt. The service was friendly and quick, which made the experience even better. The staff was attentive and helped me choose the right toppings, without rushing me despite the busy line. As for the ambience, Golden Spoon has a clean and modern feel. It's casual but still inviting, with a nice layout that doesn't feel cramped. It's the kind of place you could easily pop in and enjoy a quick dessert or hang out for a bit. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Golden Spoon. The frozen yogurt was tasty, the service was solid, and the atmosphere made it a good spot to enjoy a treat. If you're in the mood for a light and refreshing dessert, this place is definitely worth a visit. read more
