Great service and explanation. Very nice decor inside. Good amount of options. Mini pancakes were 4.99 for 10, but chocolate drizzle was 4.99. Seems like the structuring for toppings was a little too outrageous. I'd come back because it was delicious, but a flat rate for mini pancakes and toppings should be implemented. Again, great service nice staff and good options.

I ordered a fresa con Crema cup to be ready at 12:45. When I got there, my order was packed and ready to go. It looked so cute ; the strawberries were ripe & fresh. My order was almost too cute to eat! This is the first time I've been here, the shop itself was incredibly clean, and the lady that helped me was very friendly.

Exceptional customer service. Very clean establishment will come back for sure. Staff is extremely friendly and craving satisfied!

My first visit to Chocolate Bash in Covina left me with very mixed feelings. I came in on a Saturday as a local whose friend recommended it, expecting something fun and simple. The experience immediately felt overwhelming because there was only one worker handling everything. A family of four was ahead of us, and even though she greeted us kindly, she was moving so fast and juggling so much that it became obvious she wouldn't be able to take our order anytime soon. I eventually seated myself because it was clear she was completely alone. This is where the responsibility falls on the owner. A weekend crowd is predictable and at minimum there should be two people working. By the time we ordered, at least four more parties had come in, and nobody was ordering just one thing. The worker herself was incredibly nice and honestly deserves her own five out of five review, but the environment she was put in was stressful for everyone. She was rushing, spinning in circles, touching the computer screen with her gloves, trying to keep up with orders, and even the music stopped at one point which made the whole space feel awkwardly quiet. You could tell she was doing her best, but she shouldn't have been left to manage a high volume shift alone. Another issue that really was not well thought out was the online order system or whatever process they have for pickup orders. People were walking in expecting their items, and she had to stop everything to make those orders first. None of that was communicated to anyone waiting, so we were left confused about why we weren't being served even though she had just finished helping the family before us. It came off rushed, unorganized, and honestly a little rude, even though it wasn't intentional. It added a level of stress that should never be part of a simple dessert visit. As for the food, I ordered a peach smoothie, Oreo shake, chocolate strawberries, and Oreos. Unfortunately nothing met my expectations. The sweetness was overwhelmingly high, the quality didn't match the price, and the portions felt small for what they charge. Since everything is made in front of you, it was also obvious that the ingredients didn't feel fresh. The entire experience made me realize I wouldn't come back. It wasn't enjoyable and left me feeling more stressed than satisfied. We still tipped the woman because she genuinely tried her hardest, and none of this is her fault. My hope is that management steps in, hires proper weekend support, organizes their workflow, and reassesses both the quality and the value of what they're offering. For now, this remains a two out of five experience with no plans to return.

Came in for the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries, and some regular chocolate dipped strawberries. So YUM!!!! I always come to get my fix on the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries, they are soo good here. Michelle greeted me as I walked in today, and helped me out. Chocolate Bash (Covina) is distinct for its aggressive customer service, overpriced options, and poorly executed treats. This is that rare business where staff visibly gets frustrated and angry at you if you ask questions. I felt unwelcome the entire time. I arrived at Chocolate Bash (Covina) on Sunday (around 3:55PM). This business is located in the Superior Grocery Store's parking lot. I walked by a couple homeless people. Entering Chocolate Bash (Covina), I see the staff member arguing with another customer about the lack of whip cream. I wait several minutes until staff acknowledges me. Staff (receipt says Kyle) felt aggressive, irritated, and defensive the entire time. When I'd ask him to repeat his words (which sounded somewhat slurred) he'd speak with a deeper growl. When I'd asked whether the other milk options would cost more, he was almost irritated that he had to check. Turns out there was a price increase. His entire demeanor screamed "order-and-get-out." I ordered the Pistachio Shake ($8.99). The drink was ready within six minutes and seven seconds. The Pistachio Shake tasted like milk with very dense ice. It barely tasted like pistachios. Rather, this shake just had hardened pistachio clumps that stuck to the cup's bottom. I needed a spoon to scrape them out. Although it had a decent flavor, it's an awful decision for a shake. Chocolate Bash (Covina) has oppressive ambiance. There's no music. Just silence and staff's glaring eyes. The pink walls which were once cute had a couple of brown stains. Some tables looked unclean. The most attractive feature was the large amount of electric wall sockets to charge your devices. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience at Chocolate Bash (Covina). The ingredients had a good quality, but its high prices and bad service are comically awful. There are much better options. 1.9 out of 5

Came here to pick up chocolate covered strawberries for Mother's Day. The strawberries are big fresh and juicy. And the chocolate was delicious. The woman working there was so incredibly nice. I'll definitely be going back.

Dubai chocolate strawberry cup (3.5) I see why this dessert is so viral! I love the creamy pistachio and crispy, roasted knafeh. The strawberries were not sour at all and they were huge! I got the largest size, which is perfect for two. I feel like it's overpriced for what it is, but so is the Dubai chocolate bar and its variants in general. Cookie butter knafeh chocolate bar (3.0) This was also sooo good, I loved the use of cookie butter instead of pistachio cream, although I prefer knafeh with pistachio better. I didn't look at pictures of the size of this chocolate bar and I didn't see any in the display case, but I was also distracted by something so I probably could have seen its actual size. But damn, $10 for a tiny remix of a copycat chocolate bar is a bit much. But it's worth a try, only if you're still obsessing over this trend.

Just discovered this place accidentally in person in October 2025 and realized I haven't reviewed them yet. This is my new favorite place when I want to treat myself which is once a month. I love their menu (even though I haven't tried everything)-ingredients, menu design/colors/theme, and selection. I'm not a regular sweet tooth kind of a gal, but I love chocolate and unique treats when I do indulge myself. I also love being able to go to a local shop for Arabic or Turkish coffee since there aren't too many around and when I don't have any at home. I like both and each time I go, it just depends on my mood which one I order. My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE HANDS DOWN desert treat, is the Dubai Brownie-hmmmmm. It's like Kanafeh and a brownie had a luxury baby. Surprisingly, it's not overly sweet or too rich, which is why I fell in love with it. It's basically a rich (not too rich though) chocolate brownie base, layered with a crispy, buttery center of shredded knafeh pastry mixed with pistachio, then finished with a thick marble fudge/chocolate ganache top, cut into a generous (shareable only if you're feeling generous) sized portion. I like to describe the center as a subtle crunchiness, nutty, buttery surprise in the middle because of pistachio butter and a little toasty sweetness from the kanafeh pastry. Every bite goes: buttery-crunchy-buttery-crunchy, so it's a texture jackpot. It's not subtle. It's a desert in a "tuxedo". The ingredients are top quality and fresh and it's absolutely to die for! And they make this from scratch themselves. If you're not familiar with Knafeh/Kanafeh, it's a warm desert made with shredded pastry dough, that's popular in the Middle East (and I'm really understating it here). I told my entire family (that live 30 miles away on the Westside) about the brownie. They all (like me) were like "I'm not big on sweets", until they actually took one bit of it when I brought one with me. Then they wanted more. lol Those popular Dubai Chocolate bars you see on TikTok have nothing on this brownie. Highly recommend. I've also tried the chocolate covered strawberries, Oreo dipped cookies, Krispy fingers and the Cream Puffs-all are great as well (just not as great as the Dubai Brownie). Chocolate Covered Strawberries are always great here because the strawberry's are good and fresh. If you do get the cream puffs, go light on the liquid toppings-like no more than two. Everything there looks amazing and I probably won't try everything there because like I said, I'm not a regular sweet tooth kind of a gal, but I will try the Dubai shake next and maybe the crepes when my mom comes to see me next because she loves crepes. Today, I picked up 2 Dubai brownies (of course), 2 chocolate covered strawberries, a cup of Turkish coffee, 1 brownie bite and 1 peanut butter bite. It'll be my first time trying the two brownie bites and thought I go a little "all out" since my son his home from college, and I'm spoiling him too with treats. Their location is always clean and stocked, they have a few tables in there, and are located in the strip mall by Superior Market on Citrus and Arrow Hwy. I love their packaging and how they pack to-go orders with care, they are nice and friendly and a few times I've been given samples depending on who is running the shop the day I go in. I think it's family owned, and the two women I usually see there are really friendly and kind.

I popped in to check out the establishment. A cute privately owned business. The customer service was excellent. I ordered some chocolate covered strawberries and they tasted magnificent. Sweet tooth satisfied!! I was greeted by Michelle who told me about their Thanksgiving offer. I had to get it!! It's a fruit and dip box with a mixture of 8 different fruits and bites that are complimented by 4 different dips. Hurry in for your 10% discount before Thanksgiving . The place is very clean, bathroom is extremely clean. Parking is ample. I have I'll be coming back soon.

I'm expecting a baby and I can't stop thinking about my favorite Cream puffs with Belgian Chocolate. When I tried to order them, the server told me it would be $12.00 in total ($11.89) because of some costly toppings we apparently added. However, the advertisement said it was $8.99 no matter the toppings. We initially thought about ordering online, but it seemed like a hassle with the login and account creation process, so we decided to call and pick up the order as we live nearby. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find out that they overcharged us. Although this is our favorite store and my daughter loves it for its pink and chocolatey theme, we won't be returning due to the high prices and the overly sweet taste. I realized I can get similar Cream puffs and chocolate at Costco for a better price and even make them myself. read more

I really like the crepes and chocolate here. The place is nicely decorated and got a nice feeling to the place. I come here a decent amount of times and never had a problem but I came here at 10pm and they rushed me with my order with no line. There was this man there with this woman working. They were just rushing me the entire time. My order was thrown together not even cared about. Neither crepe was good, it wasn't even fluffy. my "coffee" I ordered was literally a shot of espresso. I'm not sure what their problem was but this was not enjoyable at all. I work hard every day and to want something sweet after a long day to get this was really disappointing. And I tipped. I dropped by in the evening to pick up desserts for the family. I've seen this place as a popular option on DoorDash. I was surprised when I walked in by the many number of staff members they had working late in the evening. The space is bright and inviting. The man that assisted me with my order, who seemed to be the team leader that evening was kind. He explained the menu and offered recommendations. This place is called chocolate bash, but don't over look it. This sweet shop serves ice cream with an assortment of flavored waffle cones in addition to other desserts . I thought the flavored waffle cones was special, since that's not something I commonly see. Ultimately, I got an order of ice cream with cheesecake bites, the cream puffs on a stick with a pistachio drizzle and cookie butter drizzle for an up charge and the chai Karak. The cream puffs were delicious. They had a nice pillowy texture with a creamy center. The drizzles were a nice addition. Husband enjoyed his ice cream. I would probably pass on the chai karak next time. From what I could see from the preparation, it looked like the beverage was a mix that came from an individual package. It didn't have that depth of strong tea flavor I was hoping for. It has some warming spice, but the beverage mainly tasted like milk. I liked what the shop had to offer, but it's a bit pricer than I would prefer to pay for sweet treats. Overall, I'd consider trying other items on a special occasion. read more

I was craving a sweet treat and came upon, chocolate bash, and I am so glad I did. As soon I walked in I was very impressed on how clean and welcoming this place looked. I was immediately greeted by a delightful lady, Michelle, who was very helpful and friendly and was there to happily answer any questions I had about the menu. Everything looked delicious but I had to choose one so I decided to order the Dubai Chocolate strawberry cup which was very tasty and exceeded my expectation. This shop is a must visit for anyone with a sweet tooth, with great service, variety of sweets and welcoming atmosphere. I will be coming back here! I highly recommend!! read more

I would want to give 0 stars. This place is extremely overpriced. Order some Dubai chocolate strawberry and it was totally disappointing, super small a little very stingy on the chocolate, strawberries were not sweet or fresh and they didn't add the pistachios bit on top, for the amount of money I payed, it totally sucked. To top it off the people there were so rude and had a really bad energy specially the lady. Don't even go here. There is another place in Monrovia on Myrtle called mamas juicery and they have the best Dubai chocolate strawberries there and super affordable and good quality. Or even La michoacana's js better and affordable. read more

Got mini pancakes taste pretty good, i want more but i think got charged 3.99 over some strawberries spread when it almost the same price as 10 pieces mini pancake which is 4.99 kinda ehh . My daughters liked this place. I got to try their chocolate covered strawberries, which were delicious. Service was good, takes longer than expected at times. chocolate bash has the most authentic dubai chocolate bars! not only did we come for a delicious treat, but we also received the best customer service ever! kyle and gio held it down when there was a huge rush! i got my dubai chocolate strawberries so fast, and they were so kind and helpful since it was my first time being there. their indoor seating is so nice, and the decor is pink which sets the vibe so well. definitely coming back again! 10/10 read more

I was introduced to this place by one of my family members who had me try one of their chocolate bars, which was phenomenal. It is super soft. The taste is amazing and I started ordering more from them to try different things. Their crêpes is delicious their chocolate covered Dubai. Strawberries were amazing. I've ordered those a few times already, but I do have to say Michelle has been wonderful with customer service. I made an order and accidentally clicked on Pick Up rather than Delivery, she was quick to help me resolve this matter and as busy as they were in person while I was on the phone, she took the time to finish my conversation about the issue and handled it Really well. I absolutely love this place. Everything so far has been amazing. So far all the stuff that I have tried have been delicious. I've tried the lotus chocolate bar along with the Dubai chocolate bar, the chocolate covered strawberries, and the chocolate covered strawberries in a cup. Were all amazing. She immediately brought it to my attention and asked whether he was with us. When I told her he was not, she informed me of what she had observed. My mother and boyfriend then confronted the individual, while the owner continued to monitor the situation closely. She later explained that she had noticed his behavior right away and had been keeping an eye on him. While she cannot control the actions of every person who enters her business, I greatly appreciated her attentiveness and willingness to step in. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt safe and supported throughout the situation. Afterward, she checked on me and made my well-being her priority. I thanked her personally for looking out for me and for taking the situation seriously. Her kindness, awareness, and willingness to protect her customers left a lasting impression on me. Third there is also a craft beer counter serving craft beer and wine along with beer and wine floats using the homemade ice cream. What is better than two of the best things in the world beer on tap and homemade crafted gourmet ice cream!!!! I scream for both! This ice cream artist has taken it up on flavors and has come up with some super delish unique items some that include a little beer in them to make them extra creamy and some non dairy made with coconut milk. You can taste your heart out as every flavor is temping and made of fresh natural ingredients. Definitely one of the best ice cream shops that i have come across and probably I think the best in SoCal. This place makes Handels look like baskin Robbin's and makes others like after and salt & straw look commercialized. Because this guy is crafting the ice cream that he knows the people want and takes ultra pride in his product. A must visit place - located at the end of old town Covina that is also worth a visit to dine at and walk around. I'm coming back for a beer float on their patio and to pick up one of their cool tshirts. They also sell by the pint. This is ice cream heaven at its best!

I ended up just ordering one beer. The gentleman who told the cashier that he couldn't help me on the beer wasn't friendly. The signage on the pricing was a little confusing. I sampled the ube cereal malt and liked it. When I got the actual flight, it tasted different so I think the beer altered the taste. We mistakenly thought they served us the other ube coconut flavor. It turns out that the ube cereal malt has coconut as well. The ube flavor wasn't as strong as I'd have liked. My favorite flavor was definitely dulce flavor. Coffee was good and pistachio was ok.

The staff is consistently friendly and upbeat, and I always get my drink pretty quickly since I usually stop by early before work. If you're looking for a reliable coffee spot with fast service and great drinks, I definitely recommend checking out this location. 10/10

I had such a great experience at Chocolate Bash! Their Dubai chocolate is seriously amazing -- rich, delicious, and made with so much attention to detail. It's definitely one of the best chocolate treats I've tried! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Everyone was kind, helpful, and made the visit feel really enjoyable. You can tell they have a positive work environment and that the team really cares about what they do. I'll definitely be coming back again. It was my family's first time coming in last night and we absolutely loved it ! Everything we got was delicious and fresh. My favorite item was the dubai strawberry cup I will definitely be coming back for that soon ! Even though it was very busy last night it was so worth it. The service was great as well thank you to the workers gio, zena and aman they were amazing and very helpful ! They also have a variety of items on the menu that you can choose from so you can try something different every time you come in which is great because we will be coming back in to try different items ! read more

If you love chocolate, this will be you favorite spot. You will see them make everything fresh with open clean kitchen. I ordered the Bash Roll, it came with 3 chocolate, fully staffed with strawberries! Yum Yum!. It was so delicious. You must try. My daughter wanted and ice cream so I got the vanilla ice cream with red velvet cone. I never seeing her enjoying her ice cream as much as she did. Very rich menu and I cannot wait to go back and try the other items. Staff were very welcoming, friendly, attentive and very helpful. Fun environment and kids friendly. Strongly recommend. read more

It was our first time coming in yesterday and I'm so glad we came in because we found our new go to dessert spot. At first we didn't know what we wanted to try because there is a variety of items on the menu that all look so good but the workers Geo and Zena helped us figure out exactly what we wanted they were very helpful and so nice! We ordered the brownies ice cream cup and some of the bites and it was delicious. Also love the pink theme and how everything is set up it's great for pictures and it was very clean. The costumer service was amazing especially Michelle omg she makes the best dubai strawberrys like are you kidding me. I appreciate the concept of Chocolate Bash, but I believe there are other locations that offer a superior experience. For instance, their s'more chocolate bar could be improved; at this location, it consists of crushed cookie, whereas other places serve the full graham cracker cookies with marshmallow in the middle, all dipped in chocolate. While this location is decent, I might prefer other bash locations. read more

The store is always clean and full of good energy. I bring different friends with me whenever I visit, and everyone loves it. Just visited Chocolate Bash and it was a huge hit with my family. Not only is the decor darling with plenty of seating, but the treats were a total win. My 17-year-old son immediately said he wants to come back for his birthday, and my 15-year-old daughter was obsessed with the Dubai Shake.
