I was visiting with my grandmother, mother, sister, and boyfriend when the owner noticed that a man in the store--who was not with our group and was not even a customer--appeared to be recording me. She immediately brought it to my attention and asked whether he was with us. When I told her he was not, she informed me of what she had observed. My mother and boyfriend then confronted the individual, while the owner continued to monitor the situation closely. She later explained that she had noticed his behavior right away and had been keeping an eye on him. While she cannot control the actions of every person who enters her business, I greatly appreciated her attentiveness and willingness to step in. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt safe and supported throughout the situation. Afterward, she checked on me and made my well-being her priority. I thanked her personally for looking out for me and for taking the situation seriously. Her kindness, awareness, and willingness to protect her customers left a lasting impression on me.
