    Milk chocolate strawberry

Came here to pick up chocolate covered strawberries for Mother's Day. The strawberries are big fresh and juicy. And the chocolate was delicious. The woman working there was so incredibly nice. I'll definitely be going back.

This is how he picked it up. Do you see the presentation of the chocolate strawberries?

My first visit to Chocolate Bash in Covina left me with very mixed feelings. I came in on a Saturday as a local whose friend recommended it, expecting something fun and simple. The experience immediately felt overwhelming because there was only one worker handling everything. A family of four was ahead of us, and even though she greeted us kindly, she was moving so fast and juggling so much that it became obvious she wouldn't be able to take our order anytime soon. I eventually seated myself because it was clear she was completely alone. This is where the responsibility falls on the owner. A weekend crowd is predictable and at minimum there should be two people working. By the time we ordered, at least four more parties had come in, and nobody was ordering just one thing. The worker herself was incredibly nice and honestly deserves her own five out of five review, but the environment she was put in was stressful for everyone. She was rushing, spinning in circles, touching the computer screen with her gloves, trying to keep up with orders, and even the music stopped at one point which made the whole space feel awkwardly quiet. You could tell she was doing her best, but she shouldn't have been left to manage a high volume shift alone. Another issue that really was not well thought out was the online order system or whatever process they have for pickup orders. People were walking in expecting their items, and she had to stop everything to make those orders first. None of that was communicated to anyone waiting, so we were left confused about why we weren't being served even though she had just finished helping the family before us. It came off rushed, unorganized, and honestly a little rude, even though it wasn't intentional. It added a level of stress that should never be part of a simple dessert visit. As for the food, I ordered a peach smoothie, Oreo shake, chocolate strawberries, and Oreos. Unfortunately nothing met my expectations. The sweetness was overwhelmingly high, the quality didn't match the price, and the portions felt small for what they charge. Since everything is made in front of you, it was also obvious that the ingredients didn't feel fresh. The entire experience made me realize I wouldn't come back. It wasn't enjoyable and left me feeling more stressed than satisfied. We still tipped the woman because she genuinely tried her hardest, and none of this is her fault. My hope is that management steps in, hires proper weekend support, organizes their workflow, and reassesses both the quality and the value of what they're offering. For now, this remains a two out of five experience with no plans to return.

Sooo yummy! I always come here for a little sweet treat and it never disappoints. The ladies who work here are always so sweet, they always enjoy a quick talk, and are happy to service you. 10/10 definitely always coming back

Chocolate Bash (Covina) is distinct for its aggressive customer service, overpriced options, and poorly executed treats. This is that rare business where staff visibly gets frustrated and angry at you if you ask questions. I felt unwelcome the entire time. I arrived at Chocolate Bash (Covina) on Sunday (around 3:55PM). This business is located in the Superior Grocery Store's parking lot. I walked by a couple homeless people. Entering Chocolate Bash (Covina), I see the staff member arguing with another customer about the lack of whip cream. I wait several minutes until staff acknowledges me. Staff (receipt says Kyle) felt aggressive, irritated, and defensive the entire time. When I'd ask him to repeat his words (which sounded somewhat slurred) he'd speak with a deeper growl. When I'd asked whether the other milk options would cost more, he was almost irritated that he had to check. Turns out there was a price increase. His entire demeanor screamed "order-and-get-out." I ordered the Pistachio Shake ($8.99). The drink was ready within six minutes and seven seconds. The Pistachio Shake tasted like milk with very dense ice. It barely tasted like pistachios. Rather, this shake just had hardened pistachio clumps that stuck to the cup's bottom. I needed a spoon to scrape them out. Although it had a decent flavor, it's an awful decision for a shake. Chocolate Bash (Covina) has oppressive ambiance. There's no music. Just silence and staff's glaring eyes. The pink walls which were once cute had a couple of brown stains. Some tables looked unclean. The most attractive feature was the large amount of electric wall sockets to charge your devices. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience at Chocolate Bash (Covina). The ingredients had a good quality, but its high prices and bad service are comically awful. There are much better options. 1.9 out of 5

    Cute packaging.

Just discovered this place accidentally in person in October 2025 and realized I haven't reviewed them yet. This is my new favorite place when I want to treat myself which is once a month. I love their menu (even though I haven't tried everything)-ingredients, menu design/colors/theme, and selection. I'm not a regular sweet tooth kind of a gal, but I love chocolate and unique treats when I do indulge myself. I also love being able to go to a local shop for Arabic or Turkish coffee since there aren't too many around and when I don't have any at home. I like both and each time I go, it just depends on my mood which one I order. My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE HANDS DOWN desert treat, is the Dubai Brownie-hmmmmm. It's like Kanafeh and a brownie had a luxury baby. Surprisingly, it's not overly sweet or too rich, which is why I fell in love with it. It's basically a rich (not too rich though) chocolate brownie base, layered with a crispy, buttery center of shredded knafeh pastry mixed with pistachio, then finished with a thick marble fudge/chocolate ganache top, cut into a generous (shareable only if you're feeling generous) sized portion. I like to describe the center as a subtle crunchiness, nutty, buttery surprise in the middle because of pistachio butter and a little toasty sweetness from the kanafeh pastry. Every bite goes: buttery-crunchy-buttery-crunchy, so it's a texture jackpot. It's not subtle. It's a desert in a "tuxedo". The ingredients are top quality and fresh and it's absolutely to die for! And they make this from scratch themselves. If you're not familiar with Knafeh/Kanafeh, it's a warm desert made with shredded pastry dough, that's popular in the Middle East (and I'm really understating it here). I told my entire family (that live 30 miles away on the Westside) about the brownie. They all (like me) were like "I'm not big on sweets", until they actually took one bit of it when I brought one with me. Then they wanted more. lol Those popular Dubai Chocolate bars you see on TikTok have nothing on this brownie. Highly recommend. I've also tried the chocolate covered strawberries, Oreo dipped cookies, Krispy fingers and the Cream Puffs-all are great as well (just not as great as the Dubai Brownie). Chocolate Covered Strawberries are always great here because the strawberry's are good and fresh. If you do get the cream puffs, go light on the liquid toppings-like no more than two. Everything there looks amazing and I probably won't try everything there because like I said, I'm not a regular sweet tooth kind of a gal, but I will try the Dubai shake next and maybe the crepes when my mom comes to see me next because she loves crepes. Today, I picked up 2 Dubai brownies (of course), 2 chocolate covered strawberries, a cup of Turkish coffee, 1 brownie bite and 1 peanut butter bite. It'll be my first time trying the two brownie bites and thought I go a little "all out" since my son his home from college, and I'm spoiling him too with treats. Their location is always clean and stocked, they have a few tables in there, and are located in the strip mall by Superior Market on Citrus and Arrow Hwy. I love their packaging and how they pack to-go orders with care, they are nice and friendly and a few times I've been given samples depending on who is running the shop the day I go in. I think it's family owned, and the two women I usually see there are really friendly and kind.

Dubai chocolate strawberry cup (3.5) I see why this dessert is so viral! I love the creamy pistachio and crispy, roasted knafeh. The strawberries were not sour at all and they were huge! I got the largest size, which is perfect for two. I feel like it's overpriced for what it is, but so is the Dubai chocolate bar and its variants in general. Cookie butter knafeh chocolate bar (3.0) This was also sooo good, I loved the use of cookie butter instead of pistachio cream, although I prefer knafeh with pistachio better. I didn't look at pictures of the size of this chocolate bar and I didn't see any in the display case, but I was also distracted by something so I probably could have seen its actual size. But damn, $10 for a tiny remix of a copycat chocolate bar is a bit much. But it's worth a try, only if you're still obsessing over this trend.

I popped in to check out the establishment. A cute privately owned business. The customer service was excellent. I ordered some chocolate covered strawberries and they tasted magnificent. Sweet tooth satisfied!! I was greeted by Michelle who told me about their Thanksgiving offer. I had to get it!! It's a fruit and dip box with a mixture of 8 different fruits and bites that are complimented by 4 different dips. Hurry in for your 10% discount before Thanksgiving . The place is very clean, bathroom is extremely clean. Parking is ample. I have I'll be coming back soon.

We were looking for some place in the area for some Dubai chocolate strawberries and found them here. Place was empty so of course the service was fine. While it tasted good it was a little bit on the pricey side is all.

Super good vibe staff that kept asking me in a very polite *not rushing* way for what questions I had. Made me feel more inclined to ask questions. They made the most honest and helpful suggestions. The dessert was soooo amazing. Burrito crepe looked extraordinary

I came in today with my partner for a sweet treat and my partner was craving chocolate covered strawberries because we had recently gone to a farmer's market that had them and they were so delicious! Chocolate Bash was the only spot in the area and we decided to give their strawberry cups a shot! My partner got the dark chocolate covered strawberry cup and I got the milk chocolate covered strawberry cup. It's so awesome that you get the option to add to the cup like ice cream or other crumb toppings. I added whip cream because I'm a big back and it was yummy!! The lady who helped us out was also so kind! She went out of her way to recommend us different items on the menu. One thing that I thought was very thoughtful of her was that she made us a sample of an item on the menu to try. She made us creampuffs with cookie butter drizzle and crumbs and it was so delicious! I told her that I would definitely order this the next time we come back! The shop is also super cute with lots of seating and it's honestly a fun vibe even though we were the only customers in there. I really just want to give a shot out to the lady who helped us out! She was very helpful and I really appreciated her customer service.

We just found this place after eating dinner next door. We ALL gave this place 5 stars!! We got the Sampler Plate that was perfect for us. It had the crepe roll w/ Nutella, pancake bites w/ cookie butter and waffles with melted chocolate. Definite sugar rush!! R and I also had the affogato w/ Nutella drizzle. Soooo yummms!! Cute place for a sugary treat

This is the craze for me! Forget cookies, or frozen yogurt... give me the chocolate. I took the kids and we met a few friends. I highly recommend the Chocolate Sushi. The kids loved the chocolate pancakes and fruit. The owner was exceedingly nice when my toddler got his sticky fingers all over the glass display case. I am definitely coming back for a date night!

So it's been a while since we visited. But during our return from Palm Desert back to Long Beach, we took a slight detour to Glendora to pick up their famous donuts during late morning, hoping that it wasn't too busy. There wasn't much of a line, with plenty of surface parking nearby. It's walk-up only, with a small window in the front where you place your order and get your box. The guy manning the window was giving off strange vibes: definitely felt it as I watched him interact with the customers in front of us: telling vs listening. The exit to the line is the same as the entrance, so the previous customers had to squeeze past us. I then waited for the cashier to come back...as he did and before I could speak, he slammed shut the screen on the window in my face and yelled something to the effect of ~I'm busy, will come back in a bit~. The slamming of the door is a practiced bit, and was meant to show everyone who was in charge. He did come back in a bit, but by this time I was nonplussed. I knew what to order (thank goodness), but then he asks 'What kind of strawberry?'...idk. So I pointed to the famous strawberry (as mentioned on the receipt)...no response, but he must have gotten what he wanted. Then his next response was 'You will pay for this AFTER I've boxed up the donuts' as he pointed to the credit card machine. What's funny was that he smiled and joked with his co-workers while he was doing this (just not at the customers)...so this must be the normal here. We got 5 things in total: 2 tiger tails ($3.40 each), 2 strawberry ($6.50), 1 sugar ($2.05). All were excellent donuts , with the whole strawberries being used not being overly sweet this time. The dough used for the donuts reminds me of a very good Chinese donut holes: a bit yeasty, but not as much as a KrispyKreme, and not cakey at all. With a sugar glaze, it very well could be my perfect donut. The donuts are indeed all that, but the possibility of such rude customer interaction (and that the owners are putting him and his attitude out in front instead of in the back where it belongs) negates any inclination to want to return (note to my future self).

And she even mixed my requested raspberry jam with raspberry ganache and it was a flavor bomb!!!! I so definitely recommend to order from Caron and she will deliver 110%! Super satisfied with her services and baked goodies! So many people enjoyed them and kept asking where I got them from! Will order again with her!

Excellent local bakery in the Glendora area that pumps out good bread and bakery items! After…read morecoming here a few times, I've got nothing but good things to say and a highly recommended place to dine at or pick up if you're in the area. As soon as you enter the restaurant, all their baked good items on the display case is so mouth watering and enticing. My favorite baked good items are their coffee cakes, danishes, muffins, sourdough bread, and all the cookies. NOTE: Their in house sourdough bread is not only to die for, but sells out what feels like within minutes of them opening up on the weekends. That's how delicious their bread is. Another baked good that I consider to die for is their lemon pistachio olive oil cake that's placed by the register. The cake is moist and there's a good lemon flavor with a crunch of pistachio with every bite. Every time I'm in downtown Glendora whether it's for a stroll or an errand, Crust & Crumble is always my pit stop. The breakfast & lunch menu is also excellent and they use their in house sourdough for all the sandwiches. The Crusty, Jalapeno Honey, Italian, and BLTA are my favorites. I'm looking forward to trying all the sandwiches and breakfast offerings in my future trips. I've only tried the cold brew here and I can say they use some good quality beans. The restaurant is long and small and can only fit about 2 people width wise as there are 3-4 tables that can seat 2 people per table inside. They do have outdoor seating available. Restaurant is clean and I believe there isn't a bathroom for the public. During the weekdays, you would be able to order and get your food pretty quick. However, on the weekends, expect the line to be out the door due to it being small plus the weekend crowd. Most of the items on the breakfast & lunch menu will take a minimum of 20 minutes during the weekends. I've always had excellent customer service with the staff on every visit. They are personable, friendly, and will take their time to answer all the questions. Parking is never an issue with plenty of street parking and multiple parking lots.

Looked on their menu for options for ordering pies but don't see that as an option. Wanted decaf drip coffee, the nice young man employee said they didn't have it but they could do a decaf americano for me. The gelato is velvety & soft with prominent flavor profiles. It's tasty. (Important Note: Bring cash. Card has a small additional fee, about 3.5% extra. Also, there's no flavor sampling.) I arrived at Il Gusto (West Covina) on Monday (around 7:29pm). This location shares the busy parking plaza by 85 Degrees (West Covina). Fortunately, it was easy to find parking this evening. Staff is professional and helpful. Staff worked quickly, and staff answered all my questions. Line went very fast despite a group being ahead of me. As mentioned, I ordered the Medium Cup (2 Scoops - $8). I selected a milk chocolate scoop and a cookies-flavored scoop. Portion sizes are fair and adequate for its quality. The flavors are delicious. The milk chocolate scoop reminded me of rich, dark chocolate milk. Its consistency felt very velvety, and its strong chocolate flavor almost teetered towards chocolate brownie territory. The cookie-flavored scoop was very tasty as well. This scoop flowed smoothly, and I happily enjoyed the soft cookie chunks within. This had a milder taste, but it felt very satisfying. This gelato was not icy; rather, it had delightful flavors while flowing like chilled silk. Concerning ambiance, Il Gusto (West Covina) shows genuine effort. The location is very clean and well-ventilated (refreshingly chill). I also enjoyed the Elvis Presley music. However, the music was occasionally drowned out from the loud electronic buzzing/humming sounds from the kitchen's containers. Also, some portions of the walls and floors looked scuffed with black marks. Il Gusto (West Covina) is also fairly small. It has three reflective tables inside; customer-only restroom; and three nearby shaded tables outside. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Il Gusto (West Covina). Its prices are adequate, the gelato is a good quality, and the staff is hardworking & helpful. If nearby, I recommend. 4.6 out of 5

The owner is super friendly and accommodating, and was able to take a custom order for oatmeal chocolate chip -- and wow... perfection. Easily my favorite. All the cookies are baked fresh to order, giving you that soft, gooey center that hits every time. You can tell he uses quality ingredients, which makes the slightly higher price point feel worth it. I also tried: Snickerdoodle - really good, soft and flavorful, OG Chocolate Chip - classic and solid and Inception cookie - loaded with white chocolate chips and Oreo pieces (a little sweet for my taste, but still good if you like richer desserts). He offers a wide variety of flavors (just ask!), and it's easy to see why he gets a lot of catering requests. Super convenient too -- delivery is available depending on your location, or you can arrange for pickup. Plus, he accepts credit cards, which is always a plus. Even without a storefront visit, the presentation and freshness made it feel like a premium experience. Overall, great experience, great cookies, and even better service.
