What I appreciated from Paty is that, the quantity I ordered compared to how many guests we were having, in her eyes was way too much. And she informed me that I was ordering too much, and went over options of what items I can order less of. Cupcakes tasted great when they were freshly baked, moist, fragrant, and not overly sweet. However, my event was the following day, and I had to put them in the refrigerator overnight. I have ordered cupcakes and cake pops from this shop twice now and I am more than pleased with both orders. They do beautiful (and tasty) work! My most recent order was thrown at them very last minute and even though they were overbooked with other orders, they accommodated my needs without any hesitation or troubles. So far we've tried chocolate, vanilla and raspberry filled vanilla. I'm a fan of all three but the raspberry filling took it up a notch! If you're into that sort of thing, go for it. Cake pops: lemon, strawberry, vanilla They were almost too pretty to eat.. (Check my cacti photos!) My son has a dairy intolerance so she swapped cow milk for almond. We don't normally eat much gluten but sometimes you gotta live a little;) I'm not sure if there's an alternative for that dietary preference -- I didn't bother asking. Hubby and I went to a 20th anniversary party this weekend and had the most delicious cake pops ever. I know cake pops are a huge thing right now and every party we go to has some, so that's why I feel confident saying "these are the best" I've had. The cake was moist and the flavor creation was amazing. I had the Lemon with cranberry crunch and a Chocolate with Chocolate chips. The only thing I regret is not getting a few more. I took a business card and posted it. It's a mom and pop operation and they are made to order. Sorry no actual bakery shop, but I'm sure it coming soon. I called last minute for 8 dozen specialty pops and Patty and Felipe were so accomodating! Patty answered all calls, texts, and emails right away. I called 3 other places before them and they never returned my calls or emails so I was just blown away that Patty was always so responsive. I asked if they could do the pops in shapes of footballs, baseballs, basketballs, and soccer balls for a sports themed bday party and I got an immdiate yes. Only one word for this business: disappointing. I called on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 6pm twice; no answer. I then emailed about an inquiry to order cupcakes that night and received a response later that same night from Paty. I responded to her the next afternoon. I never received a response back. In my email, told her I wanted to order 90 chocolate cupcakes with a glitter frosting for my graduation party. I also asked if we could set up an appointment to meet so I could l could let her know everything that I wanted. I wasn't going to just order cupcakes. I was very very excited to try this mom and pop business as they have excellent reviews. I guess they didn't want my business.
