We've been here several times. The service is great and the food is so fresh! Love the fish tacos. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. Dress is casual. read more

Fresh food, and you can customize your meal! I pretty much got myself a fish taco and it was delicious. And the mac & cheese is sooo good. One non-food suggestion: give out those little packets of hand wipes for (delightfully) messy, saucy wraps and soft tacos. :) I live in another state and look forward to my next visit with my family so I can eat here again. read more

Brilliant concept. Healthy and delicious food in a hurry. When you are in the mood for top tier seared ahi tuna or delicious pulled pork (our favorites- but there is beef and chicken too) and don't have the time or desire to get dressed up and go to a sit down restaurant to pay $30+ plus, this is the secret spot that will satisfy your desire for amazing food. The key is to know what you like. Start with your protein. Like seared ahi? OK- start there and then customize your meal with your favorite additions. Add beans. CHECK. Add Fresh carrots, cukes, tomatoes, fresh parm, thai dressing (lots of other add ons and dressings too), CHECK. Be in and out in 10 minutes or less. CHECK. Eat at the outside tables and enjoy the bright sunshine. CHECK. Come back 3 times a week because the food quality is so high and the price is so reasonable... YES!!!! read more

Chive - Salad Near Me - Vero Beach, Florida

Amazing, fresh and fast. Would def. return again. Unique setting with daily specials. Don't miss it, worth going out of the way.

Really good, think chipotle but way better and not so Mexican... ahi salad is my favorite but everything is good. Brittneys fav is the steak burrito, come hungry! read more

This place was kinda weird, probably won't go back after our first try. The restaurant was SUPER Smokey inside, so we sat outside. The setup is basically self serve on all counts but tips seem to be expected. My wife got a Caesar salad that was good. My meal was a strange combo of hot quinoa and squash on top of a fresh greed salad. This ended up being a pile of Luke warm wilted green and foot veggies that were really not even well seasoned. The staff was friendly, but seemed distracted. I also had a fish taco takeout with them in the past that was a 2/5 at best: soggy, over cooked fish, no vibrant flavor. read more

This place went above and beyond to accommodate my 2 year old sons allergies. I called ahead to make sure they had gluten free options as well as dairy free (he's allergic to both). I spoke with Kyle, who by the way was incredibly helpful and professional, and I told him about my sons allergies and he said they could make something special for him. We talked about the options and we decided on a corn tortilla quesadilla with guacamole inside (no cheese). He told me to call about 30 mins before we were to come so that they could gather the ingredients for him and have it ready. We were treated with such kindness by everyone and we will definitely be going back for more. My mom and I both ordered the seared ahi tuna salads and they were wonderful! read more

I have been here before and was very impressed! Today the chicken was dry and cold. The rice was over-cooked and the portions were smaller.

Okay seriously love this place. Best ahi tuna, lobster bisque, and Mac and cheese around. The staff is informative and prepares your food with care. The owner does a tone of community outreach that I admire. Other note worthy offerings- everything seriously.... read more

Z BEST in Vero Beach! Fresh ingredients, friendly service! What more can you ask for?

Absolutely fabulous, fast cuisine. Frequented for. Lunch but much more then just a great lunch spot. Evening apps, family nights and catering with Wild Thyme. Have never been disappointed and have been there many times. All time favorite is the poke tuna nachos.... They're a game changer! read more

Went here looking for a lighter meal. I was tired of pasta and lots of bread. Neither I nor my vegetarian husband were disappointed. A quaint little place off the main roads. Found mostly locals there which is always a good sign. It's a build your own plate. You choose a base, salad, rice and beans, burrito, or bread. Then add protein, chicken, pork, beef, or fish. The last step is to add toppings and dressings. Way too many choices to mention. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food very fresh. Going back a second night, it's that good. read more

Sorta like Qdoba on steroids. More variety in food items than I can count, including lobster, tuna, etc. Fine for vegetarians. Good, friendly service. Meal is about 10 bucks for lots of food. A few tables outdoors, just enough tables indoors. Off the beaten path, but that means quick service if you're nearby -- one-half mile from Treasure Coast Plaza/Toojays. read more

Delicious, healthy choices. Very helpful staff explained all the options, made spot-on recommendations. Quiet, cool and relaxing. Enjoyed the fresh, grilled mahi over salad. Spicy Ginger beer was a delight as were the homemade chocolate chip cookies. read more

I am new to the area so I thought I would give this place try! I had the lobster roll with a side of Mac and cheese. I went there specifically to try the lobster roll because looked delicious in all the pictures. It was good and made from fresh ingredients. However, the big surprise for me was my side of Mac and cheese was better than the roll! I will probably try something other than the lobster roll next time I go... not that it was bad... it was just kinda pricy for what you get and didn't "wow" me, but it was GOOD regardless. I WILL be getting a side of their Mac and cheese the next time however! That was bomb! read more

I come to Vero every year to visit family and we have stopped by Chive for dinner the past two years. It's always been delicious, but because I live in a very rural town, Chipotle is also a treat for me. I am also vegan and it is really hard for me to decide which is better: Chive or Chipotle. On the one hand, Chive is locally owned and has really fresh ingredients and more veggies. On the other hand, Chipotle has tofu. Plus, most of the sauces at Chive have dairy or eggs in them (the chimichurri doesn't and that is the bomb sauce!). So while Chive is really good, sometimes I want something more substantial and will go for the tofu at Chipotle. Now if Chive offered something other than just sauteed veggies as the "meat," such as roasted portabello mushroom or tofu, then I'd chose Chive all the time, hands down. read more

This place is awesome! The best quick food in Vero. Love the Mac n cheese and the shrimp wrap. Definitely coming back!

A solid 4.5. Fresh tasty ingredients personalized to.your taste. The decor is nice and service is Friendly and prompt. Yum!!!

Basically the healthier version of chipotle. I didn't have an issue while I was there, and being a local, I think it did justice to the whole Tex-Mex flare chipotle has except with a more Floridian twist--trust me. Fresh is better. It's Delicious, healthy, the service was great, and I didn't feel like I ate dynamite afterwords. read more

I was driving through Vero while I was home for the Holidays, and I stumbled across this absolute gem! The food is fantastic and extremely fresh. The restaurant is very comfortable, and the servers couldn't be friendlier. I loved how they cook the meat to order so it's piping hot when they hand it to you at the register. I ordered mahi tacos, and they were as good as I've ever eaten. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area! read more

The ahi tuna nachos is one of the best lunches I have had in Vero Beach ever...ask Riley to make them for you. Outstanding!

Always had delicious lunch here. Three of us have eaten here about four times and I ate there alone a few times so we have tried many of their combinations. The burritos are big and the salads are endless. Love it all! read more

A+++! First time in Vero Beach and we were lucky enough to find this little slice of heaven. We gorged on fresh caprese salad, crab cakes, lobster rolls, Mac n cheese, and a chicken burrito. All were incredible. The food and the friendly staff is enough reason to plan a vacation here to Vero next year. read more

We are in Vero Beach every 6-8 weeks and love the restaurants there. We tried Chive for the first time in early July. It is great. What a fun place. You choose your protein and whether you would like it prepared as a burrito, tacos, po'boy sandwich or salad (maybe another option I am forgetting). Then you tell them what ingredients you want with it. I love being able to "build my own" entree. We met the owner and he was very friendly. He suggested the Korean beef to my husband. He LOVED it. Wanted to go back the next day to have it again. He had his as tacos with the ingredients they suggested which included rice noodles. It was really good. I had chicken and liked the flavor. I had tacos too. The restaurant is fun and the food is fresh and good. Definitely try it. We tried the location on Royal Palm. read more

Fast food at it's best! Friendly, efficient service. Would prefer real flatware to plastic. Soups are great, salads fresh and crisp. Service is always with a smile even when they are crazy busy...which is often. read more
