We started with fried calamari. It came out way too fast to have been made to order. It was a tad over fried, so it was rubbery. Tasted like the kind you buy frozen . You know, already breaded. The order was a large quantity , but that doesn't make it good. I ordered shrimp & scallop Pomadoro. The hubs ordered linguine with white clam sauce. That had 2 clams in shells on the top of the pasta, and the rest was canned clams. Believe me, You can tell. My dish was almost fair. The menu read tomato basil cream sauce. More like marinara with a touch of cream. A leaf of basil chopped up on top. The shrimp, scallops & pasta were cooked well, but the almost raw garlic and heavy handed on the salt took away from what might have been an acceptable dish. We also had minestrone soup. Could have fooled me. There was not a bean to be found. The pasta was pastina & it had some type of shredded meat?? Lastly, the coffee was not drinkable. We've heard people, at times , say they have had coffee that tasted like dishwater . We never experienced that until tonight. I ordered decaf & the hubs had reg. They both sucked. One sip was all it took. . We didn't mention anything to the waitress as it's not anything to do with her. But I will write this review as well as a google one. The place was packed. It's dark in the front room . It was ok in the side room where we were. Typical Italian decor. Wine bottles on the walls, that kind of thing. Again we were really disappointed. It's hard to spend $125 and not really enjoy it. Now we know. Armani's in downtown Vero is 100% better. We went there 3 days ago. I will write about that place as that will receive 5 stars. Oh and don't bother with the extra calories by eating the garlic bread . It was Italian bread cut into French fry shape with way too much garlic powder & low grade parmigiana cheese.

Clean, simple, done right. The fries were a simple side, golden and hot. Service was attentive and the setting felt like a proper neighborhood Italian spot. Make a reservation. The happy hour drink prices are incredible and a great draw. We all enjoyed 2 drinks during happy hour with some appetizers. All our apps tasted delicious, especially the escargot. Dipping the bread in the buttery sauce was top tier. Unfortunately, our server was really rushing us through happy hour to order our meal. We had just flown into town to visit our parents and had this reservation for about a week. Since the moment we sat down we felt extremely rushed to order our apps and entrees at the same time (at 4:30). We told her several times that we wanted to enjoy some drinks and apps before ordering but she kept pushing. She was very nice but we felt very rushed until the restaurant started to fill up. Once she had more tables to serve she seemed to chill out on us. But it really put a damper on our meal. Everyone had a clean plate and was very happy with our entrees. The triple fish special was delicious. I would have preferred it not to be breaded but I would definitely eat it again. If you wanted a somewhat quick meal then this is not your place. The cannoli was pretty good although all together flavorless. The tiramisu was something else, not in a good way though. The lady fingers were dry and brittle, the only thing you could taste was the cacao powder on top of it. I did ask for it to go so that may be my fault but I didn't expect a half empty little container of it. The mascarpone was almost a liquid which was new to me. I was altogether highly disappointed in this establishment as I expected much more from somewhere that claimed that "It's an Art at Pomodoro" and that they strive to provide the highest quality dining experience. Looking back this place was definitely more deserving of one of the star.
