While our family loves Chipotle, the Prince Frederick location continues to disappoint and remains the worst chain experience we've had. Today, we placed an order and were first handed half-filled queso cups. To their credit, they apologized and corrected that. However, once we got home, things only got worse. Out of the three orders of chips, all bags was mostly stale. Then I opened my steak bowl--it was barely half full, with only eight pieces of steak, three of which were burnt. I honestly knew better than to order from this location again--it consistently serves the lowest-quality food. If you try to contact someone to complain, good luck reaching a real person. If you're craving Chipotle, go to the Waldorf location (best by far), followed by St. Mary's, which is much more reliable. read more

My son just had major surgery and we live in Ohio so we thought it would be nice to order a meal for them. We checked chipotle and they don't deliver and they are only 4 miles away!! So we went through Uber. Well, typical incompetence and people not doing their job!! They were shorted large family size chips, sour cream and cheese meal was ruined!! so, tried calling the store and this piece of work said we had to contact uber and they couldn't do anything!!! Really disappointed. The place was almost empty but there were a lot of employees there. EVERY table in the restaurant was dirty - food tenants in every table. I had to ask someone to wipe a table off so we could sit and eat. The serving counter where they fill the bowls was covered in food remnants. The server behind the serving bar took several minutes to even acknowledge us. And at that time we were the only people in the restaurant! We don't mind waiting but there was no eye contact or even a hello while we waited. What has happened to customer service? We ordered a steak bowl and it was very skimpy on the amount of food. I went in this establishment an entire hour before it closed. The employees were rude and treated us like a burden for coming in at 9 o'clock. The restaurant is open until 10. They treated us as though we came in two minutes before close demanding service. Also, an employee decided to drag chairs loudly around the dining area to mop the floor while we were sitting in the dining room. Finally they all need to learn how to wash their hands between cleaning tasks and touching food for customers. Wow what is wrong with this Chipotle? It's not on par with any other location we've been to. We've tried it a few times in case they were having an off day, but no it's officially a hot mess and I'm done. This review is solely to warn other potential customers. Chips are consistently stale and rancid, they run out of items and don't have more coming so you have to just pick something else on the spot, and the portions are meager... Maybe they care more if you eat in? They also skimp on the portions. This latest time I order double meat and it was no more than a regular portion. This is probably one of the worst locations I've ever eaten at. The staff was not friendly and they tried to rush customers through. The portions were way less than other Chipotles I've been to. Also, I'm assuming it was the beans but felt like I was eating soup instead of a burrito bowl. There was so much liquid in the bottom of the bowl I needed a spoon to finish my meal. My one star has to do with one thing alone. The night manager is HORRIBLE. We went to this location last night and I stood in line and waited for at least 3-4 minutes while the manager stood in front of me making online orders and yelling at the staff the entire time not even acknowledging that I was there. The young man who was at the register was extremely kind and came over and got my order started and then was yelled at to go package up online orders. She continued to be extremely rude and demeaning to every employee on the line throughout my whole visit there. I will be contacting corporate about her because no one deserves to be treated the way that she treats the other employees there. I didn't get the guy name who helped me last night but major props to him for being extremely kind even in a super tough work environment. read more

My family placed a large pick-up order of 7 individual meals. Below is a review on behalf of my husband: Upon arriving at the store, I went up to the counter and told the cashier that I placed a pick-up order. He asked, what was the name that order was under? I told him and he looked through the many receipts, found my order, and pointed to the staff preparing the food and said: "they are doing your order now". So my son and I stepped back just a few feet from the counter, so they could finish getting the order together. A few minutes passed, and the cashier was bringing out bags of food, placing them on the back ledge of the booth seating closest to the counter. Not understanding why he was doing that. I continued to wait patiently until a guy walked in and searched through all of the six bags of customer's food, and picked up my bags and started to unwrap one of the aluminum foil. Then proceeded to walk out with our food, until my son said," dad, that's our food" I stopped him and asked him if he is sure that is his food. Sure enough, it was OUR food. He had the same first name as me, but that wasn't the problem, nor was he the problem. The problem was that I just came in told the cashier what type of order I had, my name, and when the food was done he didn't inform/or say anything, he just sat on the back of a booth chair, for random customers to decide on their own what order was theirs. With COVID-19 going rampant this a direct and careless way for customers to be exposed to the virus! When asked he didn't know what to say other than it's a no-contact policy. No contact for them, but ALL contact for the customers. Where does this make sense? My suggestion would be not to eat here or any Chipotle that follows this protocol! read more

I made the mistake of ordering their lifestyle high protein bowl online...almost 16$ for a very small portion of food...when going to any other Chipotle I've never had this issue so I decided to go in today to watch how they made my meal...I try to eat once a day so I need for my meal to sustain me all day..so as I'm watching this lady make my bowl so literally put a half of spoon full of rice in my bowl..it didn't even cover the bottom of my bowl and then tried to charge me double meat for a regular portion size..Calvert has the worst Chipotle I've ever been too!! This is an update to an old review. I had to remove stars, because months later the customer service is still the same--rude. The staff consistently tries to rush people out the door, even when they're not busy. I was the last person in line (once again) and the guy adding the toppings to my burrito bowl interrupted me twice to ask "Is that it?" Him: "Lettuce and cheese. Is that it?" Me: "I also want corn..." Him: "Is that it?" Like dude, CHILL!! If you let me say more than one ingredient at a time maybe then that would finally be "it" and I could complete my order. It's so rude and uncalled for. I worked in customer service for 5+ years during and after college. We would be called out by our boss if we ever spoke to customers like that. The place was not busy, and there was no one in line behind me. Even if there was a line, that's still no way to talk to a customer. I knew exactly what I wanted, so it's not like I was standing there going "Ummm... umm...." If he gave me two seconds to speak I could've quickly been on my merry way. When the restaurant first opened everything was great. Excellent, fast service, and correct portions. They have quickly gone down hill. They quite often "run-out" of items like sour cream, guac, and especially carnitas. When called out for not giving you enough meat in a single portion they will gladly up-charge you to 'double-meat' while still giving you less meat than you should get in a single serving. Never go within two hours of closing as your portions decrease even more, my guess is they are simply too lazy to restock. read more

Last time I went into this Location for a take out when I got home I discovered my brito bowl had about one tablespoon of chicken in it. Manager said I could come back and she would take care of it that would be a 25 minute round trip. Although I know was 10 minutes before they closed I thought I would stop in and grab a quick bite on the way home. Employee 1 at counter with scraping ice out of the bin where the keep the lettuce said he would be right with me. Then promptly ignored me. Another guy came up walked away employee 1 ask employee to are you going to do take care of him as he continued to walk him back employee 3 watching all this not saying a word left me feeling like customers aren't welcomed. To say the least I did not get anything tonight from this location. Nor will I get anything from this location ever again. Customer service is a failure in this shop.
