Just an update on the review when I went to the store, they were many people with curly hair many people with dreadlocks and many people were straight hair and manager is a liar and she was scared to come out of the office and talk to me. The employees made my son another sandwich and apologized, which is way more than what that manager did. 1.30.21 Update for the new year at the Prince Frederick location. This is my second visit during Covid-19. Well I can tell I did enjoy the new pretzel bun burger I did get it without the beer cheese and honey mustard the fries were cooked crispy and the strawberry lemonade is fabulous. Ok. The management or the workers or both have either changed or stepped up their game. I have had really good luck with this Wendy's as of late. The bacon is crispy, the burgers cooked correctly, and the frosty machine always works! The drive through line seems to move at an above average expected rate and I haven't had anything missing from my order in a long time. Restaurant options are very limited in the Prince Frederick area. A few years ago, Calvert County got its very first Chik Fil A. This spurred on Wendy's and the MacDonalds to remodel its current restaurants and get better at food and service. read more

This Wendy's is an outparcel from the Walmart parking lot. Older style, but they still have all the good stuff from Singles to salads to the famous Baconator. I try to avoid the coronary inducements except for special occasions so today was simply a baked potato, a small chili and two Junior Cheeseburger Deluxe (no mustard or mayo). Easy, cheap, good. Heads up...I do not recommend going to Wendy's in Prince Frederick. Just left there and they got their masks pulled down to their chins and breaking all over the food...not social distanced at all. They fucked up my order completely and overcharged me...when I very nicely asked for the receipt and tried to clear up the mistake they made on my order they got all huffy and said thats what you ordered...um no it wasn't. Brought my family for breakfast based on my experience in California and Lexington Park. It was a mistake. This was a complete 180 from how good it was at the other locations! Every single review on this page about this Wendy's is 100% accurate. It's amazing that a group of people cannot work together to make a hamburger. During the 15 minute wait for my sandwich and fries combo the police made an entrance, questioned where the manager was and then promptly left. The highlight of the day was the woman who took our order. She may have been 15 or 55. We are not really sure. But there was a pack of Newport's on the counter next to the register, so likely she was over the age of 18, but then again who knows. Also interesting was the employee wandering around the dining room with a cigarette butt in his mouth, talking to himself. This place... where do you start? They just relaunched with a nice remodel and I'll be if they aren't out of something every time I come here... the basics. Ketchup, sweet n sour among others but this time was the worst. They were out of every regular drink. They had diet everything but no regular sodas then had the audacity to charge an extra 0.50 for the lemonade after not having what we need available. At least try to win us over. That's the next thing. The staff sucks at life. No personality, attitude for days and general lack of work ethic. Part three is every time I get my Biggie meal the food is ice cold after a 5 minute drive and it takes them 5-10 minutes in the drive thru to get the meal and it's ice cold, come on. Nice relaunch. If I could give zero stars and still rate this restaurant I would. We arrived and they did not have any baked potatoes or any spicy nuggets in stock. Food running out makes sense, but we ordered our first baked potato with no problems- then when we ordered a second all of a sudden they were magically now out of them. The employees were very rude and nonchalant in person and over the speaker. After we collected our order they didn't give us some of our food so we had to pull back around. They then made us wait at the speaker for several minutes before addressing us. The quality of service and food has really declined. It took almost two minutes to be acknowledged at the drive through (with no customers ahead of me.) The cashier sounded bothered at taking my order, which I had to repeat three times. I waited three minutes at the window, and was hurriedly told my total, but not assured about my order or otherwise greeted. My change was carelessly handed to me, and my order was actually shoved at me, without a word. I checked my bag and noticed a missing item, but the crew refused to come back to the window, so I went inside. The guy that shoved my food out was leaning across the counter, on his phone, with a friend in front of him. When the friend saw me come in and told the crew member he should see what's wrong, the guy looked at me and said, "oh, she can wait," and went back to his phone. Four other crew members saw me, but not one acknowledged me. When a fifth member came out, she asked what was wrong and handed me the missing item, with an apology. It was cold, but at this point I just wanted to get home, so figured I'd heat everything up there. We opened the wrappers and Everything was raw. Waited at the pickup window for about four minutes to be handed my food and my burger patty was still barely warmed and dried out....how do you screw up a Jr. bacon cheeseburger? I give one star just to generous. I came in to order the new southwest chicken avocado sandwich. And attached is what I get a sandwich without avocado. I also ordered a 4 piece chicken tender and received 4 nuggets. What is this?? No ranch. I think this Wendy's is some kind of half-way house or second chance employment for prisoner's or something because it's employees look and act like they literally were just released from jail, but I could be wrong. Also, I never realized a chain restaurant that literally prepares the food the same no matter if you are in California, Idaho, or Maryland can mess it up every single time. It really takes some skill to be so bad at making Wendy's food, I mean they literally have pictures of the food on the menu, but nope, still messed up. I bit into a french fry from here recently and it was hollow, literally hollow-just a fry shell, how does that even happen!?! Also, the lettuce on the burger was the hard core piece, no leaf, just the core, really? We were fortunate to get there before there was a long line but by the time we got our food there must have been a MINIMUM 25 ppl in line. Had been in the habit of taking my daughter here for a Frosty prior to church on Sunday evenings. No more. Last time we were here a few weeks ago, as I was getting my daughter strapped into her car seat, a worker came out of the front door and puked right outside the door and pretty much right in front of our car. I hate this place so much, and it sucks cause I like Wendy's, the last of a long sad string of disappointments was when they ran out of junior burgers, yes you heard me correctly, they ran out of burgers during the day on a weekday, can't make this stuff up. And instead of just giving us a regular paddy for junior price they refused saying we have to pay full price, ok, cool whatever.
