I was skeptical of the new location, but pleasantly surprised! I came in pretty late and there was still a crowd. The crew was fast and helpful. I had a sofritas salad and the helpings were generous. Food is good, employees are really nice, but the place is always FREEZING! We've been in about 30 times and it's only been comfortable once. It's so cold all the time, that we sometimes choose to sit outside during the hot summer or bring jackets (it'll be like 110° outside-- we shouldn't have to bring jackets anywhere!) Tonight, we asked an employee if they could turn the AC off because it blows right onto customers (it's 50° outside and barely warmer inside) and she said she'd try, but that the thermostat doesn't respond to them?! That was it. I decided to write this review. At the end of our meal, my husband said it best- "that wasn't worth driving from Atascadero to sit and freeze our a$$es off." If they make it more comfortable to be in there, I'll raise the rating and change my review. read more

I just had a great experience at this Chipotle. I have Celiac Disease, so I cant have any gluten. The staff on tonight (12.2.17) went to great lengths to ensure that my food was gluten free and not cross-contaminated. It can be embarrassing to ask for these accommodations, but they took it seriously and knew the protocol so that I don't get sick. It means a lot to me. Did take out last night. Ordering online and pick up is easy. However, when we opened up the food at home, the portions were almost half-size. I got a burrito bowl whose fillings barely touched the sides of the bowl and my husband's burrito was half-size. Not sure what's going on but I'm not paying that price to get small portions. sad face. read more

Just went to this location for the first time. I'm a fan of Chipotle in general, since I don't usually eat meat and this is a good hearty vegetarian option. This restaurant is very small, and laid out a bit awkwardly. There was a line (Sunday afternoon) and four workers but the wait was still a bit long. The guy taking my initial order started one of my two burritos but then passed me on to someone else and totally spaced on my second burrito. I got up to the cashier before I realized I had been totally passed over for the rest of my order. Also a piece of meat was dropped into the cheese, which I think vegetarians would absolutely hate to know. The girl wrapping up my burritos got them completely wet on the outside (of the burrito and the wrapper) with salsa drippings and the guy at the register had to tell her to rewrap them. They were totally soggy by the time I got home. The taste was good, and it had been awhile since I'd had chipotle so I wasn't too disappointed but I'm surprised at the whole wet wrapping thing. I'd recommend it, but maybe keep a watchful eye on your food! read more

Friendliest group of young staff. Polite, courteous and even ask how your day is going. Each time a customer comes in, someone yells out "hello" from the back and every time a customer leaves, the staff from the back yell out "goodbye". What a fun group of employees. read more

A very friendly upbeat staff that made the dining experience exceptionally loud everytime a new customer came in. We each had a burrito and a beer and it ended up costing us over $30. My friend and I each had a carnitas burrito that made us both get explosive diarrhea within an hour of eating at this restaurant. We definitely will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Um wow. We are very unhappy with our food. First of all it was cold, my husband's burrito was cold, meat beans, rice, everything ...cold. I got 3 crunchy tacos, the chicken was very fatty. I had to take all the chicken out of my tacos, it was not edible, i ended up throwing them all away. My son ordered the burrito bowl and it was barely full, maybe half full. We also ordered chips and salsa and the chips were stale, not even kidding!!! And way over salted. It was bad. We will never go here again, sucks cause we are locals . read more

As most Chipotle locations, service was friendly which I always appreciate and the eating area was clean. Tables were clear of debris. I would suggest to the line workers to slow it down a smidge. I ordered a burrito bowl and watched as my food was mostly thrown into the bowl messily. When he asked which salsa I wanted, I pointed to the pico de gallo and asked him if that was the mild one and instead of confirming, he just threw it on my bowl. My meat was cold (I ordered steak). The food is okay, although there is a much better restaurant in town preparing the same style of food and doing it much better. I've been here several times and they are one of the most inefficient restaurants I've ever seen. They always seem to have plenty of staff but it takes them forever to process orders. They asked me how I was doing and all 4 employees I came into contact with seemed genuinely friendly and happy! I was so surprised with the level of engagement they have with their customers, I felt compelled to make sure I wrote a review on them. This review is for the evening of Oct.15, 2015. There was a fundraiser for my kiddos school and the staff here killed it! There was a line out the door and around the block-no joke-and the staff was still cool, calm and collected. The manager was on point doing like five jobs at once. Everyone was still friendly despite what must have seemed like the never-ending-line that wrapped down the sidewalk towards Kohls! (What can I say, our school has spirit!) On top of all that, the food was generous, scrumptious, fresh and GMO free! Yep, no additive and frankenfood!! LOVE IT! We got 2 burritos (that served as dinner last night and the leftovers as today's lunch) 3 kids meals and chips and salsa. The bill came to $36.00 and half of that went to the school. Severely underrated Chipotle. The best one I've ever been to, in fact! This is not the kind of food you'd get sick from; every time I come in everything is fresh and on point. The staff are extremely cheerful and always ask me how I'm doing on my road trips from LA to Santa Cruz, and the location is almost halfway between so it's a great lunch destination. This was our first experience st a Chipotle restaurant. The service felt very rushed and confusing. The portion of meat they give you is very small despite being priced as high as it is. The meat was also very dry and chewy. Honestly, we were very disappointed. They charge almost $2 extra for guacamole and don't give you very much. Overall, very disappointing. read more

Visited Chipotle Mexican Grill for the first time recently. Our order consisted of one chicken burrito, one Barbacoa (shredded beef) burrito and two beers. Total $26.30. Both burritos were big, as advertised, although neither one had much flavor. The beans were watery, the rice had a minimal flavor, but only if you were looking for it. The music coming through the speakers was so loud, we couldn't even converse and wasn't allowed to go outside to the patio because we had beer. I was looking forward to trying Chipotle. There's already a couple of very good (for our taste), Mexican restaurant's here in town, so we probably won't be returning to Chipotle. read more

For $7.99 get the El Hefe and about 50% bigger than the one at Chipotle. Been going there for years and after this experience at Chipotle will continue to go to Tortilla Town. WAY BETTER!! read more
