Came in for a late lunch. The manager, Alec or Alex, came out and took my order (at the time, I didn't know he was the manager). As we were going down the food line, I thought to myself "this guy gets an A+ in customer service". This was literally the best Chipotle experience I've ever had. I am an avid lover of Chipotle, but Lancaster's Chipotle is the worst one I've been to in all the Chipotle's I've visited. The line is always long and moving slow. They give you next to nothing on the portion of the food. When I order a bowl it's no where near full. I started having to order double rice and double beans to get a normal amount of both. I stopped getting chicken because it was always burnt. And they never give you enough cheese, lettuce, or corn salsa like it's going sparse. The chips here are usually over salted and very rarely is the drink/utensil station organized or clean. When I have time and also want chipotle, I'll make it a point to drive all the way to Canal Winchester to the next closest Chipotle to avoid coming here. read more

Just a very generic chipotle experience the line was long however the employees had a smooth shift ran so it didn't take long to order my food. I got a chicken burrito(would have gotten half chicken half chorizo but that's off the menu now ) the line was clean and well kept. All the food looked fresh and since they were busy you could see them cooking more in the back. My burrito was delicious the chicken and beans were hot and the sour cream,cheese, and lettuce were cold and a nice compliment to the hot sauce I get. The only thing, and I know this isn't the fault of any burrito place is the burrito always falls apart. And is super messy. All in all I love chipotle and will always be back. They do have a small kids menu and also offer beer and soft drinks. Which make for a decent dine in experience. I will say that chipotle is standard across the board. It's chipotle. What more do I need to say? At one time this Chipotle had an awesome, solid staff. The managers were very cool and I actually got to know a few of them pretty well. Well, awhile back one of the managers stole some money from the safe late one night. They couldn't make out who it was in the security tape and no one confessed. So Chipotle canned all of them. Ever since it seems like every time I come back, they have a new face working behind the counter who (you can tell) is learning. But even though they may not roll a burrito very well it still tastes amazing and is more than I should eat. read more

Great spicy food! I love it. I take my teens there 1-2 times a month to get our chipotle fix! The customer service is excellent. After my kids are done ordering, and they're waiting for my order to be done and make my way down to the register, the cashiers always chat and joke with them. The cleanliness is great, you can tell they strive for customer satisfaction to the best of their ability. I don't expect perfection but they are damn near perfect! If I could move the location and the group of people that work there closer to me I would! Driving 45 minutes is worth it though! read more

We went there today and we had a gift card. When we left the house I forgot to grab my purse. Well the total was more than the gift card. My husband was getting ready to head to the house to grab my purse when the cashier came back and told us that they were taking care of anything the card didn't. When I told the cashier that wasn't necessary he kept on insisting that it had already been taken care of. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much that meant. This restaurant has very wonderful staff and food. It's small for a Chipotle but what more can you really expect in Ohio?

I am constantly unpleased with Lancaster chipotle. The last few times I have been there they have been out of SOMETHING (cheese, lettuce, steak, white AND brown rice at the same time, etc.) not to mention, they let you stand in like for 15-20 during a lunch or dinner rush and tell you when you get up to the counter. No sign on the door or anything letting you know what they are out of. And when you do wait in the line, they have no sympathy. No discount or anything. I work in the restaurant industry so I don't expect it but at the same time, no one leaves where I work unhappy and I always seem to leave chipotle unhappy at that location. Employees are very nice so maybe it's the way they are told to handle the situation but something needs to change. read more

This Chipotle location is open until 10pm. After working all day, being so hungry, I did not think to check how close the time was getting when I pulled into the parking lot at 9:51pm.. Due to the use of all glass windows, I could see some employees shaking their heads. I tried to call the person at home waiting for food to reconsider their dinner of choice because I was honestly scared they would be rude to me while I was ordering. They still wanted Chipotle so I went in at 9:54pm. After seeing an already stacked and put away dining area, I asked if they were still open, to which I got the response, "if we weren't still open, you'd know because the door would be locked." I was greeted nicely by the employee who made my food and decided to leave a small tip for his kindness but soon to regret it when I was rushed by the cashier. Also on my way out, which I got in my car at exactly 10pm... I heard from behind the words, "Don't wait until ten!" I'd like this employee to answer a few questions: Who put the sign on the door that says open until 10pm? Because I didn't realize it actually meant 9:55pm. And was he aware that the restaurant is open until 10 pm when he applied to work there? I just would like to be treated like a paying customer who matters.. Thanks Chipotle Alright. Round 2. So I was hesitant to go back but it was 8pm so I figured they'd be nicer. In fact, they really stepped up their game! I didn't recognize any of the staff as the group before and they had a lot more people working the line! That made things go so much smoother than I've seen before and they were very nice. The hand sanitizer was out but not a big deal, it's more of a luxury to customers. I ordered a quesadilla but by the time I got to the end of the line, it must have gotten lost with the orders behind me and with trying to order for 3 people, I forgot about it. But that's one good thing about not paying until the end, I don't feel like I lost anything. That's one disadvantage of the assembly, lost communication with going down the line but also I should've remembered. I am very pleased with more staff to make things run smooth! Kind of rude and skimpy on the portions this time. I hate wasting my money here. I only come when my parents want it and if they saw this customer service, I don't think they'd ask me to come back. read more

This Chipotle location is pretty much just like any of their other locations if you've ever been to one. It has the same atmosphere and style that you will find at any of their locations. I love spicy food, and I will say that I love Chipotle and am always happy to go. This location doesn't offer as much seating area than others that I've been to, and the layout of their tables also sort of reminds me of being back in a school cafeteria. The ordering line is already set up kind of cafeteria style, so I like it better when the tables don't give you that same feel. Also on one of my recent trips to this location the staff failed to replenish their supply of tea for the customers even after my mother put in a request for it. She waited several minutes and the staff didn't do anything, so she just got something else to drink instead. I still really love the food though, so those few issues didn't take away from my experience here too much. read more

I went in to the lancaster store tonight to have my food remade due to it being messed up a little over a month ago. I went up to the counter and I didn't have the guys name on me (it was by random I decided to go get food there). The girl at the counter asked me his name I replied with I didn't remember what it was. She was asking my name, said she was going to see if he wrote it down. She never did look, instead the manager there came and said he would fix it only this time, as if I was making up the remake itself and the manager. I told them who he was working with and the way he looks, I know he works there or atleast did work there because he is most certain the one who said they would replace it. I have never felt so put down by the fact they were treating me as if I was a liar only wanting to not spend the 20.00 it would cost to just buy it myself. I had ended up telling him I would pay for it myself. I don't understand why it was okay to make me feel like I was doing something wrong due to a mistake they made in the first place. I am very unhappy, and would suggest that if anyone goes here and they mess up please don't think you will be treated with respect!! read more

I was so excited to get chipotle for dinner. Upon arriving at this chipotle, the line was almost out the door which is fine because hey, it's chipotle and it's awesome. The workers in the assembly line gave me about half the portions I should have gotten and when taking the first bite of my burrito, I heard a crunching sound and realized it was the rice. It was completely undercooked and the burrito fell apart. Awful service and awful food. This location gives chipotle a bad name. read more

While we love the food the atmosphere and restaurant desing stink. The noise level is way too loud. The line needs to be seperated some way so people dont think it is ok if they have others in their group take tables before they get their food. If you are not rude and you wait in line you often don't have any place to sit after you get your order. We often drive by and if there is a line we go to another restaurant. We don't mind waiting but want a place to sit when we get through the line! read more

Food is always good but the portions seem to keep getting smaller and the prices go up. The store in Lancaster is always busy and always has a long line, which I don't mind, but seating is very limited. There seems to be a high turnover in employees and the place could definitely be cleaner. Bring back the huge portions and I think customers will be much happier. read more

Just had chipotle Taco's. So disappointed. They were terrible. Had the flour shell. They were wrapped in foil that actually wrapped the edges of the taco. They were all stuck together ( you get three per order) and soaking in hot sauce. This is the location in Lancaster. I won't be going back. Sad with all the negative press on them you would think they would be on their best behavior. They really don't care about the food or customers. read more

Very disappointed with my visit to this location. It's been quite a while since I've eaten here, and will be my last. I arrived right at dinner time and was ecstatic to be third in line! There were about 8 or more young men working... Talking to each other, sweeping behind the counter and wiping the counter. I waited almost 5 minutes before it was my turn to order. No one acknowledged the customers. Two of the guys mixing food had long beards with nothing to protect the food from hair. Finally my bowl was ready but I still had to wait to pay. I was the only one in line with lots of workers around...Still standing there with no acknowledgement. I honestly think they refused to wait on people until there was a great line. Good was cold by the time I sat down. Music was so loud I had to yell my order. Iced tea was out. Place was dirty. Guac was awesome as always. Otherwise, I choose not to eat there again. read more
