Chipotle & I have a toxic relationship. I keep giving them a shot but no matter what location I go to, they always let me down. Not happy with Chipotle corporate or the manager at this location. I ordered on the app & picked up food for home. When I emptied the bag we were missing the chips to the side order of salsa & chips. Silly thing but totally annoying as you have nothing with which to eat the salsa now. My family was hungry so we ate our entrees without the side. It's impossible to call the restaurant to complain they forgot the chips and every other resource to try to get a refund is bot operator and impossible to navigate. All that said, I DROVE back to the restaurant when the servers certainly gave me the chips but now I am more annoyed for wasting my time so I wanted to speak with the manager about a refund (ie compensation for the hassle) but the server spoke with him and she told me to take the chips or bring the whole order back!!! Chipotle prices keep going up. Yet they skimp more on food. Today they skimped on dressing too. They were completely out of romaine lettuce as a topping. And annoyingly, they wouldn't let me use the salad lettuce to top my bowl. Why?!?! The short answer is to avoid this Chipotle, save your money, and go to Pancheros. It's amazing that what should have stolen business from Pancheros has actually boosted their customer base and sales without question. This Flemington location is a disgrace. By far the worst location I have been to and a total stain on the resume of Chipotle. Chipotle gets a bad rap for small portions. I have been to several locations across state borders and have found that majority give you at least normal portions. Some may consistently give you EXCELLENT portions. It's important to note that you're spending $15-$25, this is expected and they almost always deliver on the portion front. However, this Flemington is the epitome of a poorly run, pathetic, sad excuse for a Chipotle location. First: the portions. It is a guarantee you will leave this location hungry. Asking for extra is simply asking to be served the bare minimum except you pay extra. In addition, expect 1 or even two of your meat or topping choices to be empty no matter the time of day. Second: cleanliness The place is a disgrace. Food everywhere, garbage overflowing, utensil area is a mess. I could only imagine what the poor home of the manager and its employees look like that they can work entire shifts in that kind of filth. It's comically disgusting. Third: customer service 90% of the workers lack basic communication skills and friendliness. The majority of the kids who work there are clearly unaccustomed to and untrained on polite, normal interaction. Go to any other establishment in this area and you'll be impressed by the young men and women who are employed. When you employ high schoolers, there is no shame in admitting that some good behavior in basic interaction comes from managerial expectations and training. This must be absent at this Chipotle. There is one dorko in particular who is extremely unfriendly and has been referenced in several other reviews. Don't like what you do? Stay in school my man or muster up a smile. Don't waste your time or money, myself as well as many others in Flemington have given this location too many tries. Disappointment every time. Read the other reviews and view the pictures. These are not exaggerations. This may be the first Chipotle to close down in a populated area. If you still want Chipotle, the Bridgewater location tends to be great. What makes this funny is that Pancheros (a much smaller franchise) is what will contribute to pushing this dump out of Flemington. read more

Everything looked great until I see the guac. It looked as if it was sitting there all day. The portions were ridiculously small. I could literally see the bottom of my bowl. Went here for the first time to order food for lunch time and the guacamole was black. We were told that is how it is supposed to look because it is made fresh! Always happy to see another Chipotle location open close to home. Great food, good service. They even have a unique drive thru option for pickup at this location. They call it "chipotlane." Only bummer was my son was quite disappointed they didn't have chocolate milk at pickup though and they substitute a cup for water, until we asked for regular milk haha. ZERO STARS! I was so excited when this location opened. Despite the bad reviews, we went a month or so ago. It was just disgusting inside. Besides the unfriendly staff, the location was just gross. Every table was dirty and every garbage can was over flowing. Friday night we went back for a second chance. Not only was it still disgusting, the service was even worse. I visited this Chipotle location around 5:45pm Sunday September 29. I am writing this complaint in reference to the service at this location, not the quality of food. At this time at Chipotle it was not particularly busy. There were approximately two patrons dining in (have already been served) and one family finishing a to-go order. There was no visible line in the drive-through section of the restaurant. Because of this, I am a bit shocked that the two employees serving customers were so curt. They rushed me and the other person I was with as if there was a long line of customers or as if they were closing soon. Additionally, they skipped past sections without letting us choose certain additional toppings. All the while with emotionless faces, as if we were doing a disservice to them by ordering at this location. I am finally writing a review as this is not an isolated incident, but a continuous pattern and a developing culture at this site. In particular, you can always count on the short gentleman with long hair and glasses to be rude, devoid of any happy emotions, and possessing a total disregard for any decent customer service. They also serve a significantly small amount of queso sauce, which is disheartening considering we are paying for this add-on and it accounts for roughly 15% - 20% of the total order price. It would be nice if there were some culture changes here considering other locations visibly under much more pressure and grief can manage to provide at the very least, a smile. read more

It's possible that I am spoiled because I typically order from the Bridgewater Commons location on Thursdays for lunch and I am always more than satisfied with the food... I was more than excited to see a Chipotle with an express lane come to Flemington but their burritos and other portions are basically half the size of what I am used to. It is disappointing to pick up dinner and get an underwhelmingly small burrito. The quesadillas and bowls are also underwhelming in portion size. We went there for the first time on 3/23, for a quick bite to eat for dinner. First thing I noticed, was the place was a disaster! Garbages overflowing, drink bar was a mess, lids and napkins all over. The utensil bins were mostly empty, or all over the counter. It was a sticky mess on the counter. The two young men making our food were friendly and got our order correct. They are the ONLY reason it got 2 stars and not 1. When we got to the register, the girl looked hurried and confused. A disgruntled employee came in and caused a bit of a scene about "not getting hours" and wanted to speak to the owners, who apparently were in Vegas. The young girl at the register was fumbling with the register and needed help from a coworker, who along with another female employee, were arguing with the disgruntled employee. He actually YELLED at the girl at the register to "knock it off!!" I wasn't even sure what she was doing, besides standing there asking for help. He rudely showed her what to do, and then shoved my change at me. He was a complete jerk and I felt bad for the young girl! I won't EVER set foot back in this place! Some advice for the owners, maybe don't go to Vegas together when you have a business to run. And for the young man bitching about not getting any hours, I think I can tell you why you aren't getting them.... read more

Had a horrible experience while eating here with a friend. It was a Friday evening while eating here so I can understand it is going to be busy. They had at least 7 members on staff working so there is no excuse why the place should have been so dirty tables weren't clean, trash all over the floor and the bins were overflowing. I ordered a burrito where they only had one selection for rice and beans and then asked me what I wanted like it was some sort of option to get something other than white rice and black beans. It's all they had! The chicken was dry and overcooked. They didn't have sour cream, which is the most important part. This is the last time I will be eating here! read more

Went to this chipotle and usually I get a good portion sized bowl for the price without double protein. This time I asked for a little bit more chicken and barbacoa because what they gave me was a sample, they charged me Extra Protein x 4!!!!! my $10 bowl went to $26 and the manager at the time, Maynor, said he couldn't do anything about it and could only refund me back for one extra protein. I asked for my full refund and left. No other chipotle has treated me like this, I will be back to speak to the general manager. The girls they have working there are so rude and were speaking negatively about me in spanish as if I didn't know what they were saying, I am hispanic so I understood every word. Terrible service, i've had 0 issues at every other chipotle i've gone to. Would give a -5 stars if I could. So far I am 0 for 5 with this place. Don't go to this chipotle.
