One thing we don't talk enough about is that East Aurora is incredibly walkable. The intersection of Elm street and Oakwood is like NYC Times Square. The place is bustling. The parking is horrendous, and yet they all come. Before we set out on our journey, we spent a few minutes ordering online. It took our large group 10 minutes to walk down to Left Coast Taco, and our food was ready as we walked in the front door. There were plenty seats available outside in the sun on this very hot day, so we chose to walk back to our house two blocks away. The interior featured a very busy bar, as well as a few tables, all of which were filled with hungry patrons. By the time we got home to our pool-side cabanas, we were sufficiently starving and ready to consume all that we had bought. I had the birria taco on a crispy corn taco shell. Very flavorful with a tastydipping sauce. Very delicious, and I would definitely order that again. Let me just say the burritos were enormous. If you think, in terms of the size of a loaf of bread, that's how big this thing was. Everyone had a great time and we were certainly enjoyed the Left Coast Taco!

My Mom got the ensalada bowl with beef and had leftovers. I ordered the birria tacos and they were tasty. I'd like to return in time to try the burger special before it's gone. I only got the two tacos because I wanted to save room for a dessert taco, but they were sold out. This place is a great summer spot with the wide open garage door and ample patio seating.

You pick either corn or flour shells then choose your filling. I had chicken, shrimp & mahi-mahi, served with rice, refried beans & corn pudding. Didn't finish my platter but everything I had was very good. I was surprised by how good the corn pudding was, almost like a creamy corn bread. Hannah was our very pleasant server. When our bill came it was a nice surprise to see we got Happy Hour prices on the margaritas.... $3 off and since it was taco Tuesday it was another $3 off the tacos. The restaurant is not really big inside but the tables and chairs are the heavy Mexican carved style. Glad we got there a little earlier, the wait was at an hour when we left.

We finally went inside and were told another 10 mins after waiting almost 45. So all told it was about an hour wait. I get they're busy but they were not honest about the wait time. Then we were sat in the bar area and it was just very loud and rowdy thanks to what we found out was a rehearsal dinner, seriously it went down about 10 octaves after they left. Our server seemed very frazzled. When we first sat down we were given a smaller dinner menu and told the regular menu was only for drinks. Our server explained they are training a new kitchen. So we go to order and our appetizer came before our drinks. We ordered the guac and it was tasty. When we finally got our margaritas they were good. Then they delivered a queso to the table that wasn't ours, but let us keep it anyway. Then dinner arrived. I ordered shrimp tacos- and chicken came. I had to wait while they made me the correct tacos, according to the bill the server had put them in wrong. I also felt $20 for three taco shells with 3-4 shrimp each was a lot. You can not mix and match taco types. The only toppings provided are a very spicy sauce, cilantro, and onion. I ended up putting the queso on them which was good. Just never had tacos with that limited toppings for the price and no toppings bar. We repeatedly asked for more water during the meal and never got any so my friend had to go up to the bar. We ordered a soft serve margarita (the real reason we were here!) for desert to share as the flavor was chocolate and raspberry twist. It was really good! Very rich and definitely a sweet treat type of drink. The server said the flavors aren't usually like that or as thick as ours was. All this to say I honestly feel they are trying to figure some things out right now. The food itself and drinks were very good. I enjoyed the soft serve margarita and would love to try some other flavors that aren't as rich in the future. Would I go back? Yes but not for a few months. The service piece of this place is not it right now. I wouldn't order the tacos again either as I don't feel the value is there. My friend has been here dozens of times and she said it's never like this. So I hope to give them another try!

We each ordered a drink, one was a non-alcoholic grapefruit jalapeno refresher and the other was an alcoholic watermelon basil margarita. The NA one unfortunately didn't have any heat or flavor at all of the jalapeno in the actual drink, but it was ok. My friend enjoyed his watermelon drink, but only had one because it was a bit sweet. We ordered the Pozole Rojo, shrimp taco trio and shrimp fajitas. The Pozole Rojo was great and definitely my favorite part of the meal. It had a lot of pork in it and I enjoy the hominy corn, which you don't see on many menus. My friend really enjoyed the shrimp as did I; it was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The beans that came with the fajita were quite bland, which was disappointing. All in all, I would give them another shot.
