Sadly I forget that the McD's coffee on the Canadian side is formally what Tim Horton's used to use when they used coffee from Mother Parker's and here in New York state I have no idea what they use but it most certainly isn't that because it tastes horrible in comparison. Seating is shared among the rest of the rest area while there are multiple order lines while more modernized McD's have the electronic kiosks and 2 order lines instead.

It's sort of like a knockoff Starbucks with higher prices. Yes I did say higher prices than Starbucks - can you imagine? The reason they get away with that is because they are at a Thruway rest stop where you do not want to get off the highway for coffee because it will cost you extra money in tolls.

This is part of a food court that's built above the New York Thruway I guess it's I-90. There's a Subway, an Italian place, McDonald's, dismal you shop and they visitors information booth. The place is kind of run-down but it serves its purpose. When I walked up to the counter I didn't realize there were two cash registers and I was standing at the closed one so it took forever for me to attract enough attention to get some service and then she told me I had to go to the other register which I did. She was not very friendly and she was bored to tears I would think. I ordered a small coffee and I expected the same quality that I've gotten elsewhere it serve Lavazza. No way. It was 275 plus tax. The $1 cup of coffee at McDonald's would have been far better. Avoid this place don't even think about going in here. Jim

Let me set the scene…read more....... Wednesday night. No plans. Running some midweek mundane errands. Suddenly, hunger strikes....one thinks tacos (but nothing sounds good). Healthy choices? People....please...... Alas, what is it that chicken does to us? Grilled? Maybe.....fried? Hells yes! There are many questions but only one answer will suffice: Chick F'n Fil-A! (Sorry for the fowl language) This location serves the Southtowns. You may be from Hamburg, you might be West Seneca, Gowanda, Silver Creek, Boston....that's your business but know that this franchise did the right thing and expanded south of The 33. When people think Chick-fil-A, they often envision long lines of vehicles, frantically waiting for the exquisite, poultry platinum ring of the franchise world........ but I'm here to tell you Mister...... this location is a secret gem of the cluck cluck world...... you can walk in any day of the week almost anytime of the day and you don't have to deal with all that nonsense. This location is mighty mean, clean and efficient.. you walk in, place your order with the wonderful Christian youth and next thing you know you're enjoying your solitude of delicious fried chicken. Let's talk about the staff. Any other franchise is gonna find you with the 50-50 chance at best of having engagement that is somewhat professional while meeting expectations.. at Chick-fil-A, you will always be treated respectfully and with great enthusiasm. It's kind of like if Joel Osteen and Turning point USA combined forces to train the youth of America to serve up fast food. Let's talk about the real star of the show: fried chicken. Now you may like the colonel or you may like that sailor guy....... But I'm here to tell you that there ain't no chicken like the chicken they fry at the Chick-fil-A. And let's face the facts Chick-fil-A sauce deserves a Nobel prize. That mystery dip is the miracle that father Baker needed to get that sainthood thing over the line. One more bonus point for this location. Clean bathrooms. Need I say more. They keep this joint, clean and orderly. That's amazing in this day and age. In closing my friends, if you find yourself wandering in the McKinley Mall area, searching for a quick little bite with no big whoop and a lot of Yum.... Consider visiting this local Chick-fil-A.. and if you decide it isn't for you and you choose to go somewhere else...... that's OK..... but please know that we'll be praying for you.

We did a partial catering order and added waffle fries when we arrived -- the nugget tray, sandwiches, and fries were a huge hit! The food was hot, fresh, and the staff had plates, utensils, and plenty of sauces ready to go. The best surprise?
