Service was fast and friendly and they made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is something that I've missed in most restaurants these days. Totally old school local diner vibes where everyone is treated like a familiar face (whether they are or not). Treat yourself. Take some time out of your day and go back in time and enjoy all the simple things in life. Places like Louie's Texas Hots deserve our patronage. We enjoyed the mountain of fries and onion rings (we really liked the breading on the onion rings). The Mac and Cheese was basic, but classic and very tasty. My partner said that too much spice rub made the sandwich salty and dry. It wasn't the experience of dripping, shaved steak covered with lots of melted cheese, grilled peppers and onions.
