Hit or miss is a great description. It's always very very slow service and you need to watch them making your meal very closely to have a hope of it being correct. Online ordering is clearly prioritized which is actually crazy when you see the line wrap around the store to the door. read more

Awful service. ......

If i could, this would get zero stars. Idk what's going on at this Chipotle, but it's not good. From start to finish, the food sucked. Chips, Stale, like their attitudes. The Drinks, not even cold, unlike their cold hearts. .Guac, legit was just cilantro there was also the avocado pit ground up in it. And then when i went to get my drink, the workers were shit talking me. Next time you do this at least make sure i can't hear... Yeah guy with the beard, needs to learn that his voice can travel. There is a thing called sound waves, which get caught into people ears. Science, is a thing and so is not shit talking people so that can't hear. Good service is clearly something that this establishment needs to work on. read more

The worst chipotle I have ever been to and never order from this place online if you don't have to. Unfortunately have to go to this one doing the work week & even more unfortunate is that I have to order online at times if I'm in a rush. Have ordered from here through uber eats and through the chipotle app. Not matter how I order, the serving sizes are half of what you would get if you waited in line there. Regret every time I order online here instantly. If you do wait in line there the portions and are still smaller than other chipotles and food tends to be cold too. Again due to work and timing unfortunately have to use them as choice, but basically just wanted to say avoid this place at all cost if you're trying to get normal chipotle servings. Hey Chris thanks for reaching out and helping me waste more time.... I just wanted to add another post but could. So adding to my post that Chris said reach out and sent me a link. Tried reaching out and only got crappy chat bots that said they couldn't do anything or just tried to get me to order again. Wasted more time thinking the company was gonna own up to the service here since it's a constant complaint for this location, but instead wasted more time read more

Hit or miss. Anytime i place my order as a mobile order something is messed up and the proportions are small.

This place is hit or miss. Often a miss. When ordering online plan to not get half of what you ordered. The last time I went, I was told you have to get here early if you want fajita veggies. It was 630pm and they are open until 10. How about you plan better. That makes more sense. I ordered for pickup today. I went in when it said it would be ready. I waited. Come to find out I was waiting while a staff made their lunch and it was so big it burst the burrito so they had to start a new one for themself. Did any worker jump in and take care of the customer orders (mine) that were waiting? No. Well, eventually yes. And when I ate it it tasted good and was made right. But Jesus, why am I waiting while your employee ignores me? I get it, you get to eat too. But again, plan for someone to cover you. People coming in the door were getting their food faster than me...and I had already paid for it. Service here is terrible. Terrible. read more

Absolutely foul. Always forgets things in my order and is always rude when i confront them. The beef barbacoa (that i spend $17 on everytime), was purely just fat no beef at all, tomatoes were rotten and made us throw up. read more

Placed an order here tonight for 2 burritos and a bag of chips, used the app at 6:10pm, it stated the order would be ready for pick up by 6:30...upon arrival (6:25) we noticed about 20 people standing outside, there was one girl running back and forth delivering bags of food to people, very slowly. 6:35...6:40...someone says they're still working on the 6pm orders....what the hell. We FINALLY received our food at 7pm. While the food was delicious, it was definitely NOT worth the wait. Get it together Dover Chipotle! read more

The staff at this Chipotle location seems to have a fundamental misunderstanding of what +1 serving meat means when making an order. It's clear to me after multiple years of having the same issue, that the manager at this location is specifically instructing the staff to not add the double meat portion on delivery orders, and instead adding additional rice; while still charging the customer an extra 7 dollars. I don't know how many times this needs to be mentioned before corporate makes changes at this location, and considers hiring a professional staff comprised of individuals who are fully aware of how to do their job. read more

The staff were friendly and attentive. Food tasted perfect as in other locations. Glad to see it was busy, however the wait time was short.

This place is actually disgusting and bad. Their portions are terrible and food is bad. Bad time.

Only go in person if you want a full-sized portion, but even then you're lucky if they don't screw it up. Stale chips on the regular. This location has ruined chipotle for me read more

Whew, what a place! I have only ever been to a Chipotle once before. I had just picked up some ice cream in Aldi and since it was close to dinnertime and the parking lot was empty, I decided to give Chipotle Dover a try. There were 7 employees in the store and one solitary customer in front of me. This was where my experience began. The guy in front of me began to place his order, which he was taking to-go. The guy: I need three kid's meals, The employee puts three kid's meal containers on the counter. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: I need one with a chicken soft taco and the other with carnitas in a hard taco. The employee puts the meat on. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: No! No! I need the chicken on the hard taco and the carnitas on the soft taco. The employee puts things right. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: I want black beans on the carnitas taco. The employee puts black beans on the carnitas taco. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Put some more beans on that. The employee puts more beans on. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: The chicken taco needs to have a tablespoon of chili- corn salsa on it and a few drops of tomatillo red chili on it. The employee puts a tablespoon of chili- corn salsa on it and a few drops of tomatillo red chili on it. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: No! That's way too much! The employee remakes the chicken taco. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: I don't want any chips with that, can you fill the chip slot with brown rice? The employee fills the chip slot with brown rice. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Instead of the fruit, can I get romaine lettuce. The employee puts romaine lettuce in the fruit slot. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: I need organic chocolate milk with that. The employee puts a chocolate milk with the meal. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Now, for the next two meals, I want just guacamole as the main. The employee puts guacamole on the serving containers. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: One of these is getting no tacos, but the other is getting one soft taco and one hard taco. The employee puts the requisite tacos on the containers. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: The soft taco is going to need fajita vegetables. The employee puts fajita vegetables on the one taco. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: The other taco is going to have steak on it. The employee puts steak on the taco. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Add some pinto beans to that one. The employee puts pinto beans on. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Put a few more pinto beans on that. The employee puts more pinto beans on. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Put some sour cream onto the fajita vegetables. The employee puts sour cream onto the fajita vegetables. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: That's way too much! The employee scrapes some off. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: That one can have chips and the fruit. The employee puts chips and fruit on. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: And a large iced tea. The employee mixes the iced tea. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Now the other plate (which only contains guacamole) is going to get two sides of guacamole (?) The employee puts the guacamole on the plate. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: And chips. The employee puts chips on the plate. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Throw a few more on that. The employee puts more chips on. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: And that one is going to need an apple juice. The employee puts apple juice with the meal. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: Now, I need a barbacoa burrito bowl. The employee puts barbacoa in a bowl. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: I want sour cream and queso blanco on that. The employee puts the sour cream and queso blanco on. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: And cheese. The employee puts the cheese on. The 6 employees do other things in the background. The guy: that's it. The employee puts the order together in a bag. The 6 employees do other things in the background. So, I've been here for twenty minutes with my ice cream melting in the car and the guy finally had his order. Finally, it was my turn to order from the employee-the only one taking orders apparently. I tried to remain in good humor. I laughed and said to the employee: "I'll have exactly what he got." She sullenly said, "okay." read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - I see that I could win free Chipotle for a year by submitting my review to them.... but there's not enough time in the world. - Fast Food Near Me - Dover, New Hampshire

I hadn't ever had a single good experience at this location in the past, but today was the last time they'll catch me. We walked in about 20 minutes after opening. The tables and floor were still dirty when we walked in, and the temperature of the building was about five degrees warmer than outside. There were a total of two other people inside, so wait time wasn't bad- but that is where the positives stop. Despite being there right at the beginning of the day, when everything should have been fresh and hot, the rice was lukewarm at best and the chicken was not just lukewarm, not room temperature, but thoroughly chilled as though it had just been pulled out of the refrigerator. This tells me that the food is not prepared fresh each day. We watched someone try to get a cup of Sprite out of the fountain, at which point it started spraying soda everywhere and it took the employees a solid 2-3 minutes to get out to the dining room and shut it off and start cleaning it up despite there being almost no customers. I will stick with the Newington location from now on, and I will never be back here. read more

I ordered a chicken burrito online. When I picked it up it was so small I thought they made a mistake and gave me a Childs meal. The worker was aggravated and said that is how it was made. The burrito was made incorrect and missing items. How do they justify a customer paying over $15 for a kids meal and do not even try to fix it! One would think a large corporation would be doing better to serve their customers what they paid for upfront. WHAT A RIP-OFF! read more

I have unfortunately experienced the worst customer experience of any restaurant in my 30 years in Dover, NH - and it's disappointing that it had be at a Chipotle, an establishment that we frequent. We were hosting friends this evening and I placed an online order at 5.30 PM on June 02, scheduled to be picked up at 7.40 PM. We arrived at the Dover NH location at 7.45 PM. Not finding our order on the To Go rack, we waited about 10 minutes before I asked the staff about my order. A visibly irritated employee, who we later found out is the "General Manager" told me that he cannot find my order. When I showed him my email confirmation with a confirmation number for an order for $120, which had already been paid for online, he just said "call 1800-Chipotl" for a refund. I asked well, I can do that but how about our food? He asked me when I placed the order. I told him it was at 5.30 PM - and he responds with "well, that's why" - with the condescending presumption that I should know what in he was talking about. He then tells me that their systems were down for a couple of hours this afternoon and they did not receive any orders. I told him I empathize but I didn't receive any notification and wouldn't have known that. I would have hoped from a customer service point of view - for a large order - he would apologize for the inconvenience (even though it's NOT their fault) - and would have attempted to rectify the situation. I would have expected him to review my order and help his staff in preparing the order that was now 30 minutes late. To our horror, he tells me that if I need our food, I need to get in line and reorder my entire order off the line. He says that he skipped lunch, grabs a burrito, and proceeds to sit on the first seat by the cashier and starts eating. I asked him how about the fact that I've already paid 120 bucks - and all he says was "call customer service for a refund, you'll have to pay for your order here." So I get back in line, while my friend Rich calls customer service. When they ask to speak with the store manager for confirmation, he is visibly annoyed and asks my friend why he needs to talk to anyone - when it was Chipotle customer service seeking confirmation that their store system was down. I go through the line when they're running out of food. We end up with about a third of the usual amount of food in each meal and since they're now rushed with unplanned work, the food is hastily and sloppily prepared - which I ultimately paid 240 bucks - double for. Even Chipotle customer service - which assures a refund will be issued in 2-3 days - does nothing to ameliorate the situation. We maintained our calm, kindness, and composure. We did not receive any service, no regrets, no apologies as we walked past the manager- who was still eating - as left. This is disgraceful and an affront to the Chipotle brand. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I am mortified by your customer service. read more

The service and the workers there SUCKS!!!! I love chipotle in general don't get me wrong on that part- but this specific area in Dover. Don't don't ever bother going there. They just had my 3rd strike today out of 3 years of living here. It's an evidence that they do NOT care and are lazy. I'm not ever going back to them only in Newington or anywhere else besides this fricking area. You suck. read more

This Chipotle needs a visit from the health department and a commercial cleaning agency! Went there at 6:00 pm on a Saturday night ... prime time for walk in customers. For starters, the food service area was a mess...lettuce in the cheese bin; sour cream everywhere. Check out for three simple orders was clumsy, at best. Had to ask for cups. Ice machine was completely empty. All unfilled tables were littered with the residue from previous customers. Unable to find even one clean table, I asked the staff if anyone might give the tables a "once over." Looking dazed and confused, one responded with a "maybe." Never happened. There was no silverware in any of the bins. Once again, I had to approach the counter and wait for utensils while my family's meals got cold. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned since opening. Most appalling was the trash...overflowing and about to let go at any moment. See picture! Chipotle is an embarrassment to our city. I've been a customer at many Chipotles all over the country and this one takes the prize for the most ill-kept and poorly managed ever. Disgusted and done! read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Trash - Fast Food Near Me - Dover, New Hampshire

This Chipotle location needs to be closed down. Over the years the service, food, hours etc have all gone extremely down hill. It got to a point where we were asking for refunds nearly every meal we got because it was either missing items or made wrong. We were also told refunds would take several days to show up but they never did! We were refunded at least 3 times and none of those refunds ever showed up in our account which comes off as incredibly dishonest. We stopped going to this location for many reasons, but overall I don't know why this Chipotle isnt closed down yet or at the very least overhauled. Whoever owns this particular location needs to pay more attention to how it's being run. The only thing consistent is the inconsistency. I've been to other locations that are not nearly like this (Newington and Portsmouth). read more

this chipotle food was OK. The service was negative stars. I had been getting a kids meal when I had the option of getting three sides. I have gotten cheese and steak and rice. I would've gotten guac, but they ran out right next to the empty tub I saw a cup of guac. Enzo The woman previously in front of me had asked what the cup was, and he said that he had been saving the portion for himself how selfish terrible service. it was 915 at night and the store closes at 10. I don't understand why they could've just made a new batch considering there was 10 other people in the store entering and ordering. I'm very disappointed with their service not coming back here again. read more

Meh. Wouldn't go back. We ordered because they were supporting the Dover library, so an extra star for that. Pick up was a bit confusing. People standing around the perimeter of the restaurant waiting for their food to be placed on a pick up table. Seems like other restaurants have it figured out. Just keep people in their cars and text them when they're order is ready and put it on a table. Food was just ok. I would rather Dos Amigos if I want a burrito. read more

Went in to get a chicken Al Pastor bowl, while in line customers were asking for refunds on there meal. I was minding my own business but found out why after getting my food. The White rice was under cooked almost raw. The employees should have pulled the uncooked rice and now served it to anyone else after having there first issue. When I came back they offered a side of brown rice (however they missed the fact that the rice is mixed into the bowl). They asked me to get back in line of 10+ people and reorder my food. I asked for it now and informed the other customers that the rice was not cooked. The remade meal was not up to standards and was made with regular chicken the wrong sauce and enough sour cream to feed a football team. Employees were rude and manger was even worse. read more

After years of supporting this horrific chain, I've finally seen the light ! Dover NH location is an embarrassment and mirror image off what this company stands for. Every food was about 4 hours old with a bunch of teenagers around just looking at the ceiling waiting for the next idiot to purchase something to eat and then hope to have time to make it to the nearest hospital. Thankfully there is one basically across the street! (Job well done chipotle) I tried to call the " chipotle hotline" apparently it was so hot and busy from complaints nationwide that nobody could tend to my call. Where do I even begin? Truly disappointed in my experience at chip oat lay. I arrive there after my doctors appointment to change my colostomy bag (again) and the line is out the door. Red flag #1. The second sign that I should've turned around was the lady in front of me wearing flip flops that exposed her corn colored toe nails. Red flag #2. I FINALLY get to place my order and these liberals advertising their vegan BS won't let me speak. They were out of queso which was absolutely absurd. However I understood why they were out of corn salsa (the flip flop lady's toes were hogging it all). Anyway I finally get home so I can eat my food and ignore my wife in peace. I have previously been a regular at this Chiptole until my last trip shocked me to my core. I got my usual order and sat down and began to eat, only to discover undercooked rock hard rice. Normally, I would try to let this go; but it was effecting my experience so me and my friend went to consult with staff on this issue. Once I told the worker she took out a fork and tried the rice right in front of me. After chewing smugly for a moment she told me that that was how they made the rice there.
