They also had some premade combinations. I thought the store concept was interesting and kind of like Duck Donuts, but for cookies. I got the tres leches chip, and I was kind of concerned that it was going to be too sweet when I watched her make it. But OMG, this was so delicious! It wasn't overly sweet. The cookie itself was warm and very soft. I was obsessed with the whipped topping which was light and fluffy. I would much prefer that over icing. The interior of the store is cute and bright. It's a little confusing on where you should go to order, but you start on the left of the store (where the cookie display is) then pay at the counter to the right. Their cookies are very thick and gooey, similar to a cakey texture. Cookie was cooked through well and the flavors all melted together were so delicious! Vanilla ice cream and condensed milk were a great combination with the decadence of the dark chocolate, and the sweetness and saltiness of the cookie. I've been here twice. The first time was really really good, the second time was not good at all. I will say, the OG cookie and the SW one, when made properly, are absolutely delicious. I'm very very picky when it comes to my chocolate chip cookies (it's an art, and most places don't get that!), and Chip really really gets it. The cookies are gooey, melt in your mouth, the perfect proportion of chocolate chip to cookie, and I know it's basic, but they're my favorite cookies they carry here. When done right. Which they had done my first time here but my second time, I received an undercooked OG. The middle was basically raw and straight up dough and even if it wasn't undercooked (or perhaps because it was undercooked?) it didn't taste nearly as good as my last time even though it was warm and smelled amazing when I grabbed it on my way out of the store. Of the fan favorites I tried my first time (the Better Than Sex/BTS, Tres Leches, and Oreo Dunk), I REALLY loved the BTS and Tres Leches. The Oreo was fine but I'd rather get either one of the other two or another OG/SW personally. Prices are a bit high (quite a bit) but for the occasional treat, I'm willing to pay it. However, I'm not willing to gamble the high price if there isn't consistency. As such, I don't know how I feel about coming back. When they're good, they're AMAZING but as of right now, it's 50/50 for me. Service however has always been great. First time I visited while leaving a worksite last week, got a OG cookie and to my surprise a free 2nd cookie (gingerbread). The OG cookie was not great, stale in some places and moist in other places an odd mix. The real star of the show was the gingerbread cookie which was the best cookie I've had in close to a decade. So yesterday I decide to go back and order a dozen of the ginger bread cookies. I'm told by the worker that they don't make them regularly and last week they were only made for 1 week as a special. I was in the area and happened to see this place. I decided to give CHIP a chance because it looked pretty good and I'm so glad I did ! I walked in to the delicious smell of freshly baked cookies. They have a variety of options and the person working there explained the most popular cookies. I decided to try the boneless cookie. Which is a chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate chips. My goodness , the cookie was amazing. It was thick hand a nice crunch but soft inside. It was incredible! So much so after I went , I went the next day .
