I'm a go-hard chocolate chip cookie fan so I can only give an opinion on their chocolate chip. The cookies are $4.50, big in size. So gooey on the inside! They have a promotion for 6 cookies for about $22, so I love picking up a box to last me a bit. They change their menu weekly. They also sell coffee. I've had their iced coffee with hazelnut flavor and oat milk. It's pretty good! There's a few tables for seating. The interior is really cute. Everything looks clean and new. Overall, I love this place!! read more

Always see a line out the door, thankfully this time on a late Saturday evening (around 8pm) there wasn't one! We ordered the box special 6 cookies for $22- Chocolate Chip Peanut butter chocolate Lemon Party Confetti White Chocolate oatmeal cranberry Coffee All the cookies were tasty. The chocolate chip especially. The peanut butter chocolate is my favorite. Cookies were served warm, at the perfect temperature. Sweetness level just right! I came here hoping for some good cookies and I got exactly what I wanted. In the chocolate cookie it's chewy a lot of chips and just awesome. I got some for a party and not a single person knew what it was but everyone loved it. I would give it 6 stars if I could. It's also just really clean and nice inside and it takes less than a minute to get your cookies. read more

Stopped by during opening week and was pleased to see Chip City was already running like a well oiled machine! I got a s'mores cookie, which was warm, gooey, and definitely tasted like s'mores! It was a bit grainer of a texture than I anticipated, but that could just be the graham cracker aspect of the s'mores - I will definitely be back to try other cookies and see if that's what it was. Very excited that they opened up a location in Bay Terrace. I've tried the original location in Astoria and haven't gone back due to lack of parking. Hubby and I surprisingly like the dairy-free vegan chocolate chip. The triple chocolate, cookie and cream, peanut butter and jelly were also pretty good. Pretty expensive for $4.50 a cookie, but they have buy 5, get one free deal. read more

This was my first time trying Chip City. I've heard a lot about their cookies. Had the chance to try their banana cream pie cookie, chocolate chip cookie, triple chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter & jelly cookie. Banana cream pie cookie could use more banana flavor. Worst fking service ever. Waited on line for their cinnamon cookie promo for 1 hour then said it's 30 min+ extra. The other cookies I wanted weren't in stock. They know what was going on and they made people wait. I got 2 chocolate chip cookies and when the card reader asked for a tip I told them you get nothing. It's great to have a Chip City in bay terrace for a quick snack after you shop! The interior is so cute! Each day has a new rotation of cookies which is neat, you can check out what flavors they have that day on their Instagram. I like their original thick cookies better than their ice cream cookie sandwiches. My favorite is the baklava cookie, but it seems to only come around once a year. Just delicious cookies - simple as that! Stopped by to get a quick pick me up and yes, it was so good. I got the classic chocolate chip cookies with ice coffee with milk & sugar. The service here is great - the workers are quick and very helpful. The cookie itself is kept warm so that it stays gooey. LOVE their confetti cookie. It's not too sweet and they all come warm even though I order delivery. They have a special cookie daily and i've tried their carrot cake and apple pie. Cookies were amazing but the customer service was so dry and unwelcoming. I walked in and there was a women in front of me looking at cookies. I thought she was deciding what to pick for the woman behind the counter. That wasn't the case, she was just 'window shopping', and the workers behind the counter were just staring at me with a dull face; not asking if I needed help or anything. My overall experience here was great! The wait was short, there's abundant parking, and a great staff! I was taken care of almost immediately after such a warm welcome inside and then was attended by a worker named Tina, who BTW was a sweetheart! She made sure I knew about all the new flavors and even filled me in about a new weekly schedule instead of the daily's. She even told me about the new reward system and got me started immediately. I am thrilled to have a local Chip City with such an attentive staff. Will surely return! read more

There are plenty of 2 topper café tables, but if you have a bigger party, they will park a bunch of them together for you, if it's not too busy. If you get here before 8pm, tables are readily available, but it can get crowded as the evening progresses. We were surprised recently, when they sat 6 of us with no wait. They are open before the crack of dawn at 6am until 1am on Friday & Saturday nights. I imagine that the ovens never cool off and the bakers are there on the overnight shift to bake plenty of cakes ready for the next day. Particularly, the yuzu one was my favorite as it was bright and citrusy while offering the right amount of sweetness as well. The toppings were creamy and smooth, and they had a fairly good crumble on the tart itself. Not really seeing too many other places put stuff out like this quite yet, so I'm glad they're filling this role in the community. Would definitely come back to try their other desserts as well as their coffee and tea drinks! This looks like a cute space to get a little work or reading done, but I didn't get to scope out if they have bathrooms/wifi/outlets yet.

The extra teriyaki sauce is amazing, more citrusy than sweet. Loved it. 2/5 shrimp onigiri $5.50- shrimp itself is bland, wish it was seasoned. Shuda gotten the teriyaki sauce for this too, soy sauce is way too salty

It was filled with people working/studying and small groups of people just relaxing and catching up with their friends. I tried their new portobello sandwich. It had arugula and pesto. Not too salty but still flavorful. The bread was toasty but not too hard but still toasted. Definitely would order it again one day.

Because of this reason and because their desserts are always great, I find myself coming back again and again! This time I got the mango bingsoo and the cookie butter croffle which were both delicious! Their bingsoo is always so fluffy which I really like and the mango flavor is super strong as well so it doesn't feel like I'm having plain bingsoo once I get to the middle. The croffles from here are always sooo good. They're so chewy and warm which was super comforting for the cold weather that has been going on recently. This place is self service so the only interaction you have with the staff is when ordering. They are always super patient and helpful. The cute cafe has quite a bit of seats as well but because it is pretty popular around the area, it does fill up quite quickly.
