Got the Jetty Punch (Strawberry/Banana) smoothie with add-ons (probiotic, multi-vitamin, and Energizer) and an All-American wrap (Bacon, Egg, Mozz, Cheddar), but with no cheese. Both were great. Some people complain about the size of the wrap, but I prefer it small so you have room for the smoothie or you can get more than one item if you want to. I came to Tropical Smoothie Café a few times now and have tried their chipotle chicken club flat bread, chicken bacon ranch flat bread, Blimey Limey smoothie, Sunrise Sunset smoothie, and Triple Berry Oat smoothie. Their smoothies are pretty standard. Personally, I don't like the ones that have protein powder because I'm not a fan of the taste. My favorite was the chicken bacon ranch flat bread because it kind of reminds me of the McDonald's snack wrap. I've tried to find and recreate similar items for a while since it was discontinued, so I'm glad I tried this. Would come back again just to order that! read more

I love Tropical Smoothie! The restaurant is always super clean and colorful inside. I usually order the same thing every time. Today, I tried something new. I ordered the Blimey Limey (which was strawberries, pineapple, orange juice and lime) and my boyfriend went for the Tripe Berry Oat (which was strawberries, blueberries, cranberry, multivitamin, ground flaxseed, whole grain oats, why protein, and Splenda) because he wanted protein after working out. This was my first time trying an avocado smoothie and it was so delicious. I asked for less sugar and substituted mango for the pineapple juice. I didn't taste the avocado much, just a really great thick green & slightly sweet ice cold drink. But the price was $10 and even with inflation, how can you charge that much for a smoothie? There's also a sign on the door that claims you get a free smoothie when you buy one. You have to download an app, which I did, scan it and wait for the coupon. Upon arrival into this establishment I was greeted by an employee. A greeting is important because I was acknowledged. I came to get some breakfast and I wasn't picky so I went off of their suggestions which was the All American wrap. It has bacon, egg, egg and cheese. Something really basic and the name of the wrap speaks for itself. I'll try the Southwest wrap next tip. I enjoyed the All American wrap and it was just enough to eat because I ordered the mango smoothie as well. The smoothie was larger than I expected and it compliments the wrap really well. This is by far one of my absolute favorite places in Bayside! The staff is extremely nice and they keep the place meticulously clean. They offer so many delicious options and you can customize your meal options to include what you want and remove what you don't. I am a regular they know my faves by heart and exactly how I like them. I feel like I have become part of the family because of how kind they are and I know I am not the only one who feels this way. Harika, one of the shift leaders, is extremely encouraging and attentive and sets a great example for the staff. Horrible experience! Avoid this store! Ordered in the app , arrived with my family ( 5 of us) before our pick up time. One smoothie came out 5 minutes late. 4 bowls not ready. Asked 3 times about our order during the 25 minutes waiting. Then I watched as I was handed the order that was just sitting on the prep counter in the kitchen. All 4 were already melting and missing granola. I asked for the granola and then they told me they were out of granola. No apologies for missing ingredients or horrible service.
