Conveniently located in Bay Terrace so there is a massive shared parking lot. Service was friendly and helpful, though there was only 1 person working. I didn't have to wait but a couple customers after me did have to wait. You can order online for pickup! They have mostly counter seating indoors or you can sit at an outdoor table. I opted for the Ube (classic size), which is a newer flavor of theirs. It has a decent ube flavor, more vanilla-y sweet than earthly notes. I love their granola mix as it has a variety of nuts (you can get the nut free version). The fruits are fresh. The honey adds extra sweetness. Note: there is a 4% credit card surcharge. Overall, it's pretty consistent with other SoBol locations. read more

Nestled in Bay Terrace shopping center is a healthy hidden gem. My husband recently started going here regularly and now I know why. Always enjoyed popping by here for an açaí bowl especially on a hot summer day. The only feedback and change I hope to see in the near future is that if a customer doesn't want a certain fruit, a replacement should be allowed rather than just omitting it and charging extra for another fruit. It's very common at many other places for a fruit swap but this place doesn't allow it. read more

Came by here to grab a quick bite and loved it! I absolutely LOVE açaí bowls. So glad I finally got around to trying this place. I tried the regular açaí bowl- I think it was around $9-10, which is pretty standard. They have a super size which actually seems really worth it. It is huuuge. I may get it one day! The inconsistency of Sobol locations is getting to me. Yes, it's the best spot ever for smoothies/bowls but come on... Bay Terrace is way more expensive than Merrick and New Hyde Park, but slightly cheaper than Astoria... Merrick, Long Beach, and Astoria NEVER gave me an issue when I ask they blend the peanut butter INTO my bowl versus scoop it on top... Astoria, Merrick, and Bay Terrace accept my punch card, other locations don't... It's annoying. Anyway, great bowls, decent service. Still a dedicated customer. read more

Their acai and granola make such a good pairing and the seating inside is very comforting and aesthetic. I love that they have 3 different sizes you can choose from - Kids, Regular ($9.75), Super (which is huge) and their granola tastes amazing and crunchy. I'm so glad that they opened a SoBol here! This place reminded me why it's good to live in Queens with our diverse food options. I tried the sunshine bowl and pitaya bowl. They are both equally as delicious. The sunshine bowl is a bit sweeter in my opinion with mangoes, banana, and pineapple. The pitaya bowl is more tart, but a wholesome blend of pitaya sprinkled with sweet coconut and granola. It is pricey at around $11 per bowl but so good! The place is always clean, I never have to wait in line, and my bowls are always topped with a good amount of fresh fruit. The staff are super awesome too because they ask if I need another spoon and let me try a sample of a flavor. This is my new favorite place. Another customer agrees with me. While I was waiting for my order, a father came in to order his daughter a giant sunshine bowl because the staff made it so well the first time. I overheard in his conversation. Now, I always go to Long Island for a good, if not the best, bowl of açaí but ever since Sol Bol opened in Bayside, I didn't have to make that trek. I loved their original bowl which contained a sizable amount of blended açaí, layered homemade granola, fresh fruits, and sprinkled shredded coconut. I would name it the perfect bowl but I didn't taste any honey and their granola was kind of bland. Still, their açaí bowls were really delicious and saved me gas money. This is a new acai place that opened and honestly there aren't many around the area. Every time I come in, I do see a good amount of people here. I've gotten the acai bowl and the smoothies. For the acai bowl, they allow you to choose from 3 different sizes - the kids, regular, and the super. I always tend to go towards the regular since it is the happy medium between the two. The smoothie was pretty pricey ($10) but it was good. I added protein into my acai and honestly would not recommend. I only did so because I had just finished a workout and wanted to get my protein in. The protein taste made the acai incredibly thick and peanut-butter like. I will say that price wise, it's honestly normal acai pricing which is a little bit on the pricier side. Another side note is that if you add any toppings, it will cost extra. I don't like that you can't substitute toppings for other ones so that was one of the reasons why I docked a star. The service when I went was a bit slow which made me dock another star. I wanted to love this place but I honestly thought it was just okay. I do think I will be back a lot just because it's one of the few acai places in the area and I do think anyone should go and try it out first and give it a chance. I went here and got an açaí bowl classic size. The bowl lacked açaí and seemed to have more granola than anything else. The banana and the 6 blueberries, and 2 or 3 strawberries on it tasted fresh. I go there daily to get my açaí fix, and the fruit is always perfectly ripe and the granola is sooooooo good, I love the shredded coconut and drizzle of honey which is perfection. Sobol is a relatively new acai bowl shop and a good addition to an area where healthy options are not typically easy to find. I've been a fairly regular customer since I started coming here in early August. Quite honestly, I have mixed feelings. I've tried the acai bowl, the green bowl, the sunshine bowl, the super green smoothies and the blueberry muffins. Bowls are available in 3 sizes and smoothies in 2. I always get the classic sized bowls (the happy medium) and the 16 oz (smaller) smoothies. Options are abundant and customizable but will cost extra added to an already pricey item. My favorite blend is acai for the bowls, especially with added almond butter, and the green smoothie is delicious. Service is always super friendly so no complaints there. My biggest issue is inconsistency, depending on who prepares the order and when. Sometimes everything's perfect and sometimes it's not so enjoyable. Bowls are not always well filled and often the proportions of fruit/toppings/blends/granola varies greatly. The only time I ordered the sunshine bowl, the blend was icy like sorbet and the mango on the green bowl has always been unripe and hard as a rock. Next time I would leave off the mango but not substitute anything else since that would cost more. I have better luck with the acai blend which seems to be the blend most frequently ordered and, like I said, I personally love it topped with almond butter. I've also tried both the regular and nut-free granola and they're both good options. Regardless of the negatives I pointed out, I would still recommend this place and I will continue to come in plenty. I also suggest signing up for the rewards program with the app which offers $3 for every $100 spent among other benefits. read more

This spot is very expensive. The smoothies are just ok. It's a quick service smoothie place but now they're asking for tips when you pay by card and they took away the tip jar for change. I used to throw a dollar and change into the jar. But the screen asking for a tip before I even receive. my smoothie is not cool.
