I can't get enough of Chinollos! Same layout as Rabanos except more space to sit. You order with an iPad near the front or you have the option to go up to the cashier. Either way works and both ways are fast! :) The key difference between Chinollos and Rabanos is the "Burrito Bonito" section in the menu... They serve burritos at Chinollos!! I got the Korean fusion burrito called the El Gogi with chicken and it was great!! It came with a side of chips and salsa. The El Gogi burrito consisted of kimchi, rice, chicken, cucumbers and furikake... I have to admit, I finished the entire burrito! Usually I feel like crap after doing something like that but geezeeee although I was extremely full it was totally worth it! The ingredients are extremely fresh so I believe that it takes out the sluggishness that some comfort foods do. Also for the sides, the salsa was fresh and chips were light. Definitely worth a try if you love Asian fusion items like myself. A couple of cons that I have with this place are: - The parking is tight. For that area in particular its rare to find close parking unless you are coming in at a good time. - Delivery.. I wish they offered delivery with DoorDash or GrubHub! My work is about 5 miles away and I have told my coworkers about this place and they are now fans.. The only thing is is that we have not had the time to make the drive over there for lunch... Called in an order for the pork belly banh mi sandwich with fries for the side and a jasmine bubble tea. The sandwich is really good! Super flavorful and packed with well marinated veggies. The bread is ciabatta which was lightly toasted and glazed with their delicious sauce. I will definitely be returning here to try their other items! The fries were kind of cold and old (a little chewy). The jasmine tea was kind of bland so I won't be ordering that again. This place seems overrated. This first thing I'll say is that they seem to be trying to do too many things. They have every type of food imaginable, and it seems unlikely that everything's good. I will definitely update my review upon trying more items, but for now this is how I feel about my experience. I got the cuban-style sandwich and while it was okay, it was lacking most of the ingredients of a cuban. No pickles, no ham, etc., and the lettuce they put on it just got greasy and soggy and sort of made the whole thing gross. I will say the pork was slow-cooked super well and was incredibly tender, but when the rest of the sandwich isn't working, the meal ain't working. I also got their overpriced strawberry lemonade and it was okay, but a little too sweet. I will be back to try something else since everyone seems to generally rave about this place, but the staff was a little disinterested and I just don't have a huge motivation to go back right now. read more

I've finally eaten here so many times that I can't help but review it. Very poorly executed food and I'm not sure what all the good reviews are for. Most recent meal was a banh mi. The pork belly chunks are far too large to fit with the other ingredients on the sandwich; this problem is compounded by the chiabatta roll being cut diagonally. This results is large bread corners with no filling; just poor execution. The abundant jalapeño overpowers all the other flavors. This could be a tasty sandwich if only they'd execute it well. I've previously have several items in the menu and none of them were good. But the worst was the California burrito. Basically just a salty mash of potato. This could have been half the size by cutting out the potato and it may have been good. This is the consistent theme here; poor execution...close but no cigar. I have put up with this for a while since my work orders lunch from here frequently. But I will refuse my free lunches from here going forward. I'd rather eat better food. read more

The food was good but the drinks and the price aren't worth it... I ordered the Peruano Bowl with steak (Tomatoes on the side) and a Thai Tea with boba. The bowl was actually good but the Thai Tea and my friends coconut tea was disgusting. REALLY disgusting! It was too sweet which at first I didn't mind but it did not sit well in either of our stomachs. I was sick as soon as I got home; I am sure it was the drinks. The drink had only been at my table for a couple of minutes when all the contents of the drink began to separate and my friends drink looked like it had chunks of rotten milk after about 10 minutes since we received our drinks. My boyfriend and I have tried so many things at Chinollos, and we have not been disappointed once! Currently six for six out of the menu items we've tried. The owners are also so very kind. Our first time coming, she offered us a free drink so we can try their drinks, and it was really refreshing~ VIP Poke with ancient grains - 5/5. My favorite so far! I was scared to try the ancient grains, but it was so delicious. The tuna tasted so fresh, and it was also a very generous amount in my opinion! Sustainable salmon - 5/5. Perfect proportion of the salmon and rice, my boyfriend absolutely loved it (especially the sauce). Grilled chicken - 5/5. It was a simple grilled chicken sandwich but again, delicious. Korean tacos - 5/5! I'm korean and I've got to say, the kimchi was really, really good. Green burger - 5/5. I've never had a vegan burger before, so I was afraid to see how it'd taste. This place is so on fire. The ambiance is great, the food hands down over the top delicious. They know what they're doing. The quality and consistency of their foods is crazy spot on. Yes, they do cater to vegans, vegetarians, offer free range chickens, and grass feed beef. There should be more places like this around the south bay area - totally my to go spot every time. Other restaurants around the area should take note and maybe go find out what their doing right. Believe you me, they do not have any competition from other restaurants around that area. This place is gonna have to buy the bar next door to expand the restaurant and since that bar has change hands so many time and still can't get patrons in their door, they might as well close their door for Chinollo to expand their restaurant. So happy that this little juice bar/ restaurant is still going strong! wife and I returned after a couple of years and so happy with the food and service. Wife had their Poke Wonder bowl and I had the Korean Tacos. SOOO MUCH FLAVOR!!! Steak in the tacos was cooked medium (so good) and the poke bowl is worth a return trip with the Seaweed Salad, ancient grains and good amount of fish in it. Came here today with our friends who live very close by in Carson. Our one friend had mentioned this place as being kind of farm to table restaurant (don't know if that's true) but I took her word for it. As soon as you walk in you have a big menu with a selection of salads, burgers, burritos and bowls which all looked very good. I opted for the Saltado bowl with chicken which I must say was excellent. Additionally the roasted vegetable soup was a must try for me, it tasted like an Indian Style Dahl soup which is great for vegetarians. Definitely will come back. read more

It was quite interesting to see how many different cuisines this place offers. I decided upon the saltado peruano, as the lomo saltado is one of my most favorite dishes. The food came out quickly (granted, it was a non-rush hour time), and the service was great. The quality of the ingredients tasted very fresh, and the tomatoes were cooked the way I like them (soft, juicy, and not overcooked). The sauce was a bit too light and the fries were a bit bland. I think the salsa verde was okay; it was not AMAZING but not bad either. Good texture but not strong enough "pop", if you get what I mean. I will be back to try the others. read more
