I purchased this RAM vehicle from your dealership, so whenever I have had an issue with the vehicle, I have brought it back to your service department. Recently, two of my tires blew out and I had both tires replaced at your dealership. The invoice included the cost of the tire pressure sensors, but your service department was unable to properly program them. Because of this issue, I had to come back to your dealership three separate times. Each time, I was told that the sensors had been reset and that I just needed to drive on the freeway for about 20 minutes for the tire pressure readings to appear. However, the issue was never resolved. On my third visit, I was finally told that your dealership could not program the sensors and that I would have to take the vehicle to a RAM dealership to have them reprogrammed. My question is: why was I not told this from the beginning? I paid your dealership in full for the service, including the sensors, but the job was only partially completed. I then had to waste my time making three separate trips to your dealership before being told that I needed to go somewhere else. What is even more frustrating is that there was no apology or any real effort to take responsibility for the inconvenience. I also repeatedly received text messages asking for feedback about the service. I left a negative review explaining what happened, but no one seemed to care or follow up with me. I eventually went to a RAM dealership, and they told me that reprogramming the sensors would cost more than $200. Your dealership had previously told me that this would be free. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If your dealership was unable to complete the sensor programming, that should have been clearly explained to me from the beginning instead of repeatedly telling me the problem had been fixed and sending me back on the road. I believe your dealership should take responsibility for the additional cost and inconvenience caused by this situation. read more

I strongly recommend thinking twice before doing business with Chino Hills Ford. I bought my truck from this dealership, and only about THREE MONTHS later the transmission went out. The truck then sat in the shop for about a MONTH. That was bad enough. Their former finance manager, Stephen, was also extremely rude in my experience. I was later told he is no longer with the dealership. Why? I have no idea, and I'm not going to speculate. Now my previous loan with Global Lending was already PAID IN FULL, yet Chino Hills Ford still sent my refund check to Global Lending instead of to me. When I questioned them, they claimed their "dealer obligation" superseded the payoff and denied making any mistake. Almost everyone I speak with seems annoyed that I'm even asking WHERE MY MONEY IS, instead of being concerned that my refund is now stuck in limbo. My husband test drove the Lincoln Nautilus here and absolutely loved the vehicle. Unfortunately, the buying experience left a really bad taste in our mouths. The salesman initially talked about the KARR security system as though it were an optional add-on. However, when we got to the pricing, the older gentleman who handles the final pricing (owner or manager maybe?) showed us the itemized bill, and there was an additional $2,000 charge for the KARR security system that we never asked for. What made the situation feel especially shady was that the $2,000 charge was not even included in the vehicle's initial asking price. If the system had already been installed, it should have been reflected in the advertised or initial asking price instead of being added later as a surprise charge. We repeatedly asked if the $2,000 charge could be removed, and we were told it couldn't because the system had already been installed on the vehicle. That was extremely frustrating because we never requested the system in the first place. If the dealership chooses to install it on their vehicles, that shouldn't automatically mean the customer has to pay an additional $2,000 for something they never agreed to purchase, especially when the charge wasn't included in the initial asking price. We ended up staying at the dealership until after they had already closed just to finish the deal. Then, when we finally went into the finance office to sign everything, they started trying to sell us additional packages. At that point, I was already frustrated with the security-system situation and had no interest in purchasing anything else. My husband really liked the car, which is ultimately why we stayed and completed the purchase, but the process was unnecessarily exhausting and left us feeling pressured rather than valued as customers. This is exactly why I dislike the traditional car-buying experience. There are too many layers of sales tactics, unexpected add-ons, and pressure to purchase things you never asked for. Fault codes popped up "air suspension" "sport Differential malfunction" - took it to Audi - 4.1k in repairs not even 12 hours in. Ford Chino Hills Knew about the issue, cleared the codes and sold me a car they knew wasn't right. Asked them to cover the cost as was still under 250 mile warranty. - They told me they can't do anything and sold as seen. Rip offs! Misleading sales, don't trust a word from this Stealership. Update: less than 3 weeks and 300 miles the check engine light came on once again on the way home from work. It had the same code that it did plus 3 more pertaining to the high voltage battery. With that said the part replaced was not the issue which I suspected all along. The car is back at the dealer as of 7/23 so I hope after the electrical technician looks it over that Ford Motor Company will honor the battery warranty so I don't have to keep brining this back. I am keeping the star rating as the dealer has done a good job, it was Ford Motor Company that declined the battery 3 weeks earlier. read more

Horrible experience! I have an EcoSport with 1-year after-market powertrain warranty. It had an overheating issue earlier on a freeway, so I took it to an independent shop. The shop was able to diagnose it and got an approved case from the warranty provider to have the engine replaced. Yet they were unable to get the part, so they suggested me to take the car to this Ford Dealer. The warranty provider paid the diagnose fee. This dealer couldn't diagnose the issue and just suggested me to replace some irrelevant hoses and charged me the diagnose fee. The advisor was super hard to communicate. The engine light came on, and the car stopped on the freeway due to overheating, and I had to wait for it to cool down on the roadside. But they kept telling me they can't diagnose anything wrong, asking me to pay for the diagnose fee, urging me to replace some irrelevant hoses and alleging the first shop lying. I had to end up terminating any further work with them. Very upset and unpleasant experience to me. read more

Very disappointing experience with the Chino Hills Ford service department. I had a 7:00 AM appointment and was one of the first customers there, but when they started checking people in, I was skipped. I didn't even say anything. The porter checking customers in noticed, apologized, and the service advisor who skipped me told me that my truck would be serviced before the customer who had been taken ahead of me. When I returned to pick up my truck, that same service adviser who skipped me made a point of saying, "See, you're out of here before the other guy." The problem was that I had already seen the other customer leave before me and he was no longer there. I responded by saying "I don't see the other customer around". It would have been better not to bring it up again. What he told me wasn't accurate and felt like an unnecessary attempt to make the earlier situation seem better than it actually was. My service included an oil change, tire rotation, and topping off the fluids. When I was told my truck was ready, I walked over and noticed the tires had not been rotated. I have different tires on the truck, so I knew exactly where they were when I dropped it off, and they were still in the same positions. I went back inside and told the employee who had originally skipped me in that the tires had not been rotated. He then directed me to the service advisor who had actually handled my service. That service advisor checked with the technician and told me the technician insisted the tires had been rotated. We walked out to my truck, and I pointed out exactly how I knew the tires hadn't been moved. Despite what I was showing him, he continued to rely on the technician's claim that they had been rotated. The service advisor then accused me of being rude. I wasn't raising my voice, cussing, or calling anyone names. I was simply pointing out that a service they said was completed had not been done. He eventually made a snarky comment that he would have the technician "rotate them again." If I can't trust that something as basic and easy to verify as a tire rotation was actually done, it makes me question whether everything else was completed properly. Is it too much to ask for professional and trustworthy service, especially for an $80k+ truck? Mistakes happen, but dismissing legitimate concerns, providing information that doesn't match what actually happened, and accusing a customer of being rude for questioning the work is unacceptable. I don't typically have much to say about my experiences with dealerships, but today's experience was so frustrating and demeaning that I feel compelled to share it. I had a three-year lease that was due to be returned on September 5. I called the dealership in advance and scheduled an appointment for September 4 at 6:00 p.m. I was specifically told that appointments were required after 5:00 p.m. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was informed that the department in charge of leases had already gone home for the day. Despite having an appointment, I was told I would need to return on Monday, September 7, and that someone would be available to assist me with the lease return. When I returned today, I was greeted by a young woman at the front desk who kindly asked if I needed assistance. I explained that I was there to return a leased vehicle, and she directed me to "Mike." Unfortunately, my interaction with Mike was extremely frustrating. Almost immediately, I was told, "There is no one who can help you today." I explained that I had specifically been told on Friday that I could return the vehicle today. Mike responded, "I don't have anyone from finance today." This was confusing and frustrating, particularly because I had been assured that someone would be available when I returned as instructed. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was the way I felt I was being dismissed rather than having someone take a few minutes to determine whether there was a solution. I was left with the impression that my time and my concerns were not important enough to warrant even a minimal effort to assist me. As I was leaving a worker named Simon overheard how upset I was and said he would help me with my paperwork to end lease and that it would only take him 15 mins to complete. Thank you Simon! I went back inside and waited for Simon only to receive a very confused expression by Mike as if wondering why I was still there. The experience became even more upsetting when I witnessed another customer walk in shortly afterward, ask for the finance department, and be told, "Yes, ma'am, they will be right with you." I left the dealership feeling dismissed, embarrassed, and as though I had been treated as an inconvenience. I also couldn't help but wonder whether my age played a role in how I was treated, which made the experience even more upsetting. I understand that I may be young and may be perceived as naive or inexperienced but the way I was treated today was definitely not expected. What I did expect, however, was clear communication, professionalism, and a genuine effort to assist customers especially when they have followed the dealership's instructions and made an appointment in advance. After three years of being a customer, I expected a much better experience when returning my leased vehicle. Unfortunately, today's interaction left a very negative impression and has seriously affected my willingness to return to this dealership in the future. read more

UPDATE: I spoke with Sheryl at Customer Relations, and nothing is being done to address the mistakes made by Chino Hills. The dealership is NOT complying with the Ford Blue Certified program.I paid nearly $1.7k for the so called aftermarket certification and the peace of mind that was promised. That was a mistake. The car was delivered without a proper alignment, had mismatched tires with all season tires installed on the rear and summer tires kept on the front which made the vehicle extremely unsafe and caused severe hydroplaning, and even the horn was not functioning properly. All three of these items are clearly listed in the Ford Blue Certified 139 point inspection checklist that is heavily emphasized during the sales process, yet they were completely overlooked. Despite this being brought to their attention, the dealership has not taken this seriously or made any effort to correct it. This experience shows a clear disconnect between what is advertised and what is actually delivered. I strongly recommend not purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. read more

Best part is - they were willing to do NOTHING ABOUT IT - since it was 2 days past the 90 day warranty!!!! However, they were willing to put a new engine in for a small fee of $9k!!! He already paid $14k CASH for a car that quit working after 3 months then they want to charge him another $9k on top of that?!?!?!? Nobody's going to pay $23k for a car that has over 70k miles on it??? Talk about FRAUD!!!! Oh, and they strung my son along for weeks, because he was trying to make an appointment to speak with the GM, and they said they didn't have one there at the time, so everyday when he d call, they 'd either keep him on hold or send him straight to vm and sometimes they would even hang up on him!!! WOW!!!! WHAT A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS!!!! They know what they did, was WRONG, and now they're trying to hide. Next morning, my dad's tire shop (40+ years experience) measured 4/32"--he thinks it could be under that. Sent pics to dealer. Went in, waited 40 mins, they said 5/32" but never showed their gauge or any new report. Managers huddled privately, came out saying "we just want you to be happy" and promised discount/help since I wanted to upgrade tires--then total ghosting. No call, no follow-up. inconsistent reports, and broken promises feel shady. Demand proof in person and get everything written here. Damian was the highlight. I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience at Chino Hills Ford was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. My wife's lease will be ending soon, and I was hoping to upgrade her to a car she deserves. On the first day, she called ahead to confirm the car was available and was told it was. She was 45 minutes into a 1.5 hour drive to the dealership when someone finally called to say the car could not be viewed that day--without so much as an apology for the inconvenience. We returned the next day and met our salesman, Gil, who was pleasant at first. Negotiations went as expected, with the dealership trying to add unnecessary and overpriced extras. Gil and another employee, Steve (I believe), played the classic good cop/bad cop routine, disappearing to "the back" to see if their add-ons could be reduced. Eventually, we settled on what seemed like a fair price. I left to take our daughter home while my wife completed the paperwork. Unfortunately, without our knowledge, the dealership added a $1,200 "gap waiver" to the contract. When I noticed it after my wife returned home, we immediately called the dealership. That's when the stalling began: we were put on hold for 30-45 minutes, and suddenly, no one was available to help. Eventually, we spoke with Priscilla, who handled the final paperwork and added the gap coverage--something my wife never agreed to or signed for. Priscilla claimed she "played with the numbers" so the gap coverage would be free, but it was clearly included in the final total. She could not explain what adjustments were made, which felt very underhanded. Initially, we were told we'd have to drive an hour and a half back to the dealership to cancel the coverage in person. After much back-and-forth, emails, and a letter sent in the mail, we were finally provided with a copy of the cancellation form. Now, we are told we must wait 4-6 weeks for the refund to be returned to the lender. To make matters worse, Gil--who initially seemed forthright--abandoned us, despite promising to involve the manager and follow-up on this matter. . The drive to make a quick buck has cost them a future customer, as my lease will soon be ending too. The lack of transparency, questionable tactics, and poor customer service are reasons enough for me to caution anyone considering Chino Hills Ford. Shop elsewhere if you value honesty and respect for your time; I know I will. read more

I had spoken to the Sales Manager and arranged to make an appt. to purchase a used vehicle from the dealership. Arrived right when they opened and we began to proceed with going through the process of purchasing the vehicle. We arrived at a number we agreed on and was waiting to have the sales person begin to processs the paper work and sign the contract. I was then told the car was sold while we working on the purchase! I could not believe they would treat a customer this way. I understand that the dealers priority is to sell, but to not give me the courtesy to sign off on the vehicle since I was the first person there, and work out a deal with someone else in parallel strikes me as highly unprofessional and very short sided. We explained that we wanted to be walking out with a new truck and explained that we don't like to haggle (back and forth) and would not come back there after if our needs could not be met. She made it happen, gassed up our new truck and detailed it as well. And she even set us up for a photo shoot. We Felt like celebrities!!!! She walked us thru all the particulars of getting us set up with the amenities of the new truck (F250) which was awesome. The entire CH Ford team worked together to get us out the door very quickly. And the BEST part was get ended up getting something more expensive and they worked with our budget! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!! I remember when Ford service was something customers could truly rely on. Back when Maria O. was there, the level of customer care was excellent. Customers were greeted with professionalism, friendliness, and genuine attention. Unfortunately, that experience is gone. Today, employees rarely greet customers with a smile or make them feel welcome. The personal interaction and communication that once made the service department stand out have disappeared. What's even more disappointing is the so-called "complimentary multi-point inspection." It is documented as completed, but it does not appear to actually be done anymore. Customers are simply sent text messages instead of receiving proper explanations about the work performed or the condition of their vehicle. The service department now feels rushed, impersonal, and disconnected from the customer experience Ford used to provide. I have been trying to sell my 22 mach e and entered my information on car guru. I put in all the information and they matched me up with this dealership and gave me an anticipated price of 21,897 I contacted the dealership to confirm the estimate pending an inspection. The woman on the phone stated that as long a the car is in the same listed condition then they would honor the price. I made it a point to tell her that if the dealer would not honor the price then let me know as I have kids at home and had to arrange a baby sitter. She assured me that as long as the car matches the description then it shouldn't be a problem. I headed to the dealership and passed multiple dealerships on the way due to their advertised price. Once I get there I made contact with the woman that I had been communicating with. She evaluated the vehicle and stated it was in great condition. She then went to talk to a manager. The manager came out and offered me 18,000. He stated that was the best they could do. I mentioned the fact that I had a car guru quote and asked if they would honor it. The manager stated he didn't know about the quote and stated that I needed new tires and had a fender bender which dropped the value. I let him know that I input all that information and explained that to the woman on the phone and was still assured it wouldn't be an issue. My tires have 19,000 miles on them and are 3 years old. The car is in a garage when parked. The tires are in great shape. The manager then went onto explain how the political spectrum tanked values of electric cars. I let him know that none of that has anything to do with the fact that I was given assurances that as long as the car matched the description, the price would be honored. I also let them know that the almost 2,000 dollar difference from their offer and the original offer didn't make since due to "tires". He said "Sorry, that's all I can do". I let them know carmax was higher and they stated they could match carmax but would not beat it. Obviously I was irritated as my time was wasted and I fell for the old bait and switch. STAY AWAY!! Don't do business with this place. They added a ton of extra warranties that they never discussed with me nor did I ever authorize. They were shady and pushy with the whole thing and hid the added on warranties amongst a bunch of other numbers and documents so I didn't catch all of it until I went home and looked over my contract. Unfortunately, I learned my lesson and will make sure to read contracts more thoroughly next time. I believe they are very shady. I called the next morning right away and was on hold for over 30 minutes and even went in person because I already had to bring my car back for a problem. I mainly dealt with Reza who then told me it was Eric's problem and he'd call me back, which he never did. Then when speaking to Eric in person since I had to GO BACK to the dealership AGAIN for an issue, he told me it was Reza's duty to disclose everything and handed me back off to Reza. These people clearly don't know who to blame when someone catches them in their scams. I brought up the issue about them violating my rights per the California buyers laws that say dealers must disclose all add ons and warranties, and all they did was give me the run around and basically that there's nothing I could do and they are non-cancellable and that I "signed" (which was just some random paper Reza brought out that I was under the impression was to just show me what they were giving me for my trade in and what my payment was going to be) NEVER did they disclose or get my verbal consent for anything else. Run and make sure to stay away! I went in for a simple ($119.00) oil change today (4/23/2025) and walked out paying $1760.75. Jesus the service technician played on my fears knowing I drive an hour to and from work on a daily basis. But this is not the least of it, he lied on the invoice. He claimed I requested the repairs in writing. I called him as soon as I got home and requested all parts that were replaced tomorrow morning (4/24/2025). Jesus went on to ask me if I wanted him to pull the old oil out of the recycling drum. Then he stated this is how the computer system at Ford automatically writes this. I asked to speak with his supervisor, and he told me Joe was gone for the day. I will follow up on this matter tomorrow. Honesty in any business is essential. read more
