She was also genuinely kind--when I spoke with her, I felt 100% confident that I could trust her. That kind of honesty is rare these days. They replaced my car's battery in just 20 minutes. I even asked if there were any other warning codes or issues. She checked and told me everything was good--no pressure, no exaggeration, no trying to sell unnecessary repairs. I had an issue with my car and my dealer didn't even have an appointment for over a month and another dealer told me I could drop my car off and they'll get around to diagnosing it in "3-5 days". This shop did a very thorough diagnosis of my car and ended up fixing the issue for almost 1/3rd the cost as what I thought it would be (and even less than that at dealer prices). They advised replacing my air filters soon, no need to do it immediately and can wait until halfway or on my next oil change service. I had contacted this place regarding fixing a simple issue with my Mercedes. The customer service getting a quote and some simple answers answered were great. I was told Saturday's the shop only has 1 mechanic working that day and I was told my job would take half day when it ended up taking only 90 minutes (fortunately). The job I needed was getting my low beams replaced so I bought some new LED bulbs. A few days later I find out the car was experiencing some issues with the lights. When I called the shop regarding the lights, they told me they wouldn't look at the car because the lights were aftermarket but they had NO issue at all installing them knowing they were aftermarket. Razi is incredible! This past Saturday, I called Razi to inquiry about getting a turn signal light bulb replaced. I actually wasn't sure if it was the bulb or a fuse. I arrived a past 2:00 p.m., and Razi indicated they were already closed. Although the shop was closed, Razi said he would check it out for me. He replaced the bulb, and the turn signal worked great. Pretty easy fix indeed. Even though the shop was closed and Razi fixed the problem, he would not accept any money. As I indicated in my previous review, Razi can be trusted, and he does not take advantage of his customers. 1. I received a quote from Rifah. She was very quick to respond and she gave me full quote on my needs for an oil and filter change. 5 stars! 2. A-1 does not accept appointments. Rifah recommended coming in between 8 and 9am for a "quicker" service. We arrived at 7:55am but they gave us an estimate of wait time of at least 2 hours, and it did take them exactly two hours. 2 stars! 3. On a busy Saturday, they only have one mechanic working and they claimed that they had a lot of cars in line already. I wish they had more mechanics working to satisfy more customers. 2 stars! 4. They practiced "no contact service" due to COVID-19, which we appreciated, however we couldn't even get a chance to see if they were doing the job right. Not that we don't trust A-1 or anything, but we know there are many shady auto shops out there so we wish they showed us what they did to confirm everything. 3 stars! A-1 Auto expert used to be a dependable car repair business until Razi passed away. Dropped off my car Sunday night, I was supposed to have an appointment on Monday. Rifa was not there so when we called to see how things were going the guy who works behind the desk told us "you will have an update by noon ". So when we called back at 2:00, we are told they are still working on the car. The shop closes at 4:00 and we never heard back from A-1. Tuesday morning we called A-1 to find out what is going on, (you would think they would have called me) so they still didn't know what the problem was.
