The service agents were knowledgeable, friendly and provided enough information for me to make an informed decision. No pressure, no upsale, just the facts. We take out. 2018 Mazda, 2027 Highlander and our 2006 Altima. Very satisfied with the service, the great customer service and the reasonable prices. read more

The staff at A-1 Auto has always been very friendly and helpful, and they're quick to provide quotes. I've taken a couple of my vehicles here over several years, and I'm happy to support this family-owned business. Most recently, we brought our Subaru Legacy in for a synthetic oil change at 8:30 am on a weekday, and they finished within an hour. read more

This is hands down the best auto repair shop I've ever been to. It's a family-owned business, and you can truly feel the care and honesty from the moment you walk in. The front desk woman was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. She took action right away and explained everything clearly. She was also genuinely kind--when I spoke with her, I felt 100% confident that I could trust her. That kind of honesty is rare these days. They replaced my car's battery in just 20 minutes. I even asked if there were any other warning codes or issues. She checked and told me everything was good--no pressure, no exaggeration, no trying to sell unnecessary repairs. Honestly, I was expecting to hear about "other problems," as has happened at many other auto shops, but she was completely honest. I was so impressed that I told her how amazing she was and even offered to leave a tip. She politely declined and said, "I'm just glad you're our customer, and I hope you'll come back in the future." That really meant a lot to me. This place is truly amazing, and I stand by every word of this review. My husband's car will be serviced here from now on, and I'll be a loyal customer for life--unless we move far away. I highly, highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and friendly service. read more

Lovely Service - i got a oil change with an appointment but when I came in, turned out I had to do a brake fluid change as well so that was done as well. Reasonably priced, quiet and very attentive, I sat in the office for 1.5 hrs and was on my way. read more

I called in for a quote and Rifah was very thorough with her detail and explanations. She was very knowledgable and kind. Ultimatley, we decided to trade the car in instead of fixing it, however, i know where to bring my cars in for the future! Great place! read more

Alfred was super friendly and professional. Great turn around time to get my car serviced. Great pricing too. read more

A1 definitely upped their game over the years. There's now a dedicated person at the front desk and is knowledgeable and friendly. I never spoke a word with the mechanics at my last visit but my issues were all communicated thoroughly and addressed. The prices are also very fair. Great work guys I will be back! read more

They used to be good when they were smaller and taking in a few cars at at a time, now the whole lot is full of cars. Before the turn around time was one day, now you have to wait two to three days. I put my truck in to get fixed, wrong diagnose and it cost me over $600 for something that didn't need repair. read more

Had a check engine light pop on for a knock sensor on my 2014 grand Cherokee. They suggested replacing the sensors and did so for 1k but the issue was an actual knock which apparently is common in this year of jeep. Wish they had been a little more knowledgeable and inspected the cams and rockers. read more

Wanted an oil check but also needed my AC fixed bad. Scheduled an appointment, brought my Camry in, and everything was done in a few hours. Alfredo definitely took care of things and made sure I was updated throughout the day. I'd advise you to have someone pick you up if possible since the room can run hot, especially during this heatwave. Thanks for taking care of my car man. 5/5 read more

Great customer service, great attention to detail in providing oil change service. Recommend this business and returning to have my air looked at next. Thank you Rifah and company! read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable owner! I would definitely recommend them if you're having some trouble with your car!

Our 2017 Durango wouldn't start. It was distressing but we towed it here. Was very pleased by their great customer service. They called back in a few hours and the price for the repair was reasonable compared to the dealer and it was done in a day. Car runs great now will be back with my other cars. read more

These guys have always taken great care of our cars! I highly recommend them if you want a reliable and honest mechanic. I have always been impressed by their reliability and quickness every time something pops up with one of our cars. read more

I got my air conditioning fixed here and was charged a reasonable rate with no unexpected extra fees about 3 months ago and is still working great. I also got my brakepads changed here. Super professional and friendly and seems like a family owned business. I would recommend anyone who needs major work done to their car to come here. read more

Razi is incredible! This past Saturday, I called Razi to inquiry about getting a turn signal light bulb replaced. I actually wasn't sure if it was the bulb or a fuse. I arrived a past 2:00 p.m., and Razi indicated they were already closed. Although the shop was closed, Razi said he would check it out for me. He replaced the bulb, and the turn signal worked great. Pretty easy fix indeed. Even though the shop was closed and Razi fixed the problem, he would not accept any money. As I indicated in my previous review, Razi can be trusted, and he does not take advantage of his customers. For my cars that are out of warranty, I will not hesitate to continue to patronize A-1 Auto Expert. Awesome experience! read more

Awesome service for a great price! Even before coming into the shop, coordinating with Rifah is so easy and pleasant. Tip: Do make an appointment if you can. A-1 auto expert knew everything to do for my 2018 Honda Accord's B1 maintenance minder. They also checked out my car battery health since I asked about it. They advised replacing my air filters soon, no need to do it immediately and can wait until halfway or on my next oil change service. If you are new to the area like I am and are picking your next go-to auto repair shop, I recommend going with A-1 Auto Expert! Payment side note - American Express is not accepted here, so come having other card issuers and payment methods handy. I used Mastercard. Not a problem at all for me, but maybe some folks will see the "AMEX supports small businesses" signs after dropping off their car and assume AMEX is accepted. read more

I had contacted this place regarding fixing a simple issue with my Mercedes. The customer service getting a quote and some simple answers answered were great. I was told Saturday's the shop only has 1 mechanic working that day and I was told my job would take half day when it ended up taking only 90 minutes (fortunately). The job I needed was getting my low beams replaced so I bought some new LED bulbs. A few days later I find out the car was experiencing some issues with the lights. When I called the shop regarding the lights, they told me they wouldn't look at the car because the lights were aftermarket but they had NO issue at all installing them knowing they were aftermarket. I ended up taking my business elsewhere and getting the lights fixed properly. read more

Had brake pads replaced to both Lexus & Infiniti as per dealer recommendations. Used genuine factory parts and saved $$ on labor cost (compared to dealer service). Excellent service and very accommodating with my time. read more

Really happy with getting service here. I had an issue with my car and my dealer didn't even have an appointment for over a month and another dealer told me I could drop my car off and they'll get around to diagnosing it in "3-5 days". This shop did a very thorough diagnosis of my car and ended up fixing the issue for almost 1/3rd the cost as what I thought it would be (and even less than that at dealer prices). Communication and customer service were great as well. I'm definitely going back here and will likely do all the family cars here. read more

I don't know why it's taken so long for me to write a review. My whole family has gone to A1-Auto for 10+ years and now I bring my own car here and I'll tell you why in 3 simple words: Integrity. Reliability. Honesty. If you find an honest mechanic you should do everything in your power to support them because it really is a jungle out there. That is what me and my family believe in. We knew the father, Mr. Razsi who was a great businessman, very welcoming and true professional and now we put our trust with his daughter, Rifah (the manager) and wife who now run the business. They have helped us out more times than we can count and that is why we are proud to support this family owned business. If you are looking to find a reliable and honest mechanic that you can depend on for many years to come, then look no further. I highly, highly recommend this business. A good mechanic is hard to find so when you do find one, keep them close to your heart. read more

Super easy to talk to through Yelp to make an appointment. Everyone was friendly when I dropped my car off and picked it up. They also can't be beat on prices! 1. I received a quote from Rifah. She was very quick to respond and she gave me full quote on my needs for an oil and filter change. 5 stars! 2. A-1 does not accept appointments. Rifah recommended coming in between 8 and 9am for a "quicker" service. We arrived at 7:55am but they gave us an estimate of wait time of at least 2 hours, and it did take them exactly two hours. 2 stars! 3. On a busy Saturday, they only have one mechanic working and they claimed that they had a lot of cars in line already. I wish they had more mechanics working to satisfy more customers. 2 stars! 4. They practiced "no contact service" due to COVID-19, which we appreciated, however we couldn't even get a chance to see if they were doing the job right. Not that we don't trust A-1 or anything, but we know there are many shady auto shops out there so we wish they showed us what they did to confirm everything. 3 stars! This is only based on our opinions. Average score from us: 3 stars! read more

Hands down, the most honest Auto shop I've ever dealt with. The customer service was of course excellent and their prices are honest and beyond fair. I've had a Nissan Murano that needed some heavy work and the shop I had originally took it to, wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for it. So I decided to get a 2nd opinion and tow my car from Moreno Valley, here and it was the best decision ever. When I got it diagnosed at A-1, I was in shock how the other shop wanted to charge me and fix things that weren't necessary and learned right away, I had made the right decision of bringing it here. You'll never go wrong! read more

Always great service! Set up an appointment for an oil change and was in and out in the time they quoted The lady at the front counter is very knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond to make sure there isn't anything else wrong with the car. Needed the brakes done on a Ram 2500. A-1 provided exceptional customer service from the first conversation over the phone until I picked up the truck. They saved me and my kids during a hot weekend when our car AC broke down on us. I found them on Yelp and got there when they were about to close on a Saturday afternoon. Walked in with an oil leak. Nervous about what the outcome would be. Told me my oil filter was leaking oil. THAT'S IT! The people at A1 auto are HONEST good people. I was advised to come here by my boyfriend's boss, and after reading the reviews, I thought it sounded very legit and well-priced. I'm not a car expert, so spare me criticism: I went in because my brakes were screeching like crazy, and I was told I needed to change the lower control arm bushing. Mazda in Ontario was telling me all of this would cost me more than $600. I figured Razi would be cheaper, so I called. He gave me a cheaper estimate (and by cheaper, I mean more than half of that). However, upon coming in, they looked at my car, and said the bushing was not a big deal, but that I did need the right front shock switched. My front brakes were at 25% as well...Price? $600. I don't know why I just didn't go back to Mazda (everyone was telling me that the dealership always rips you off), because the prices were the same, and I've always felt better about having the dealership fix my car...I stayed, he filled out the receipt, and told me to come back the day after. I saw that, on the receipt, he put $630, not $600, so when I went back in for my car, I pointed this out. He said that what he tells me and what he writes down can change, because it's extra for labor and whatnot, but because I pointed out that all of that should have been verbally communicated, he would just charge me $600...Um...Okay... I went home, and my brakes weren't properly working, but by this time, he had already closed shop (at 5 pm.) I called my boyfriend, and he advised me to slow down and pump the brakes repeatedly at a stop or red light. This seemed to help considerably. However, my brakes kept screeching for weeks after this, something my boyfriend attributed to Razi not using brake lube when giving me new brakes. All in all, the guy was nice, but I now know that I paid wayyyy too much for what he did, I shouldn't go in for screeching brakes just to get screeching brakes back, and I will just stick to the dealership, because the prices are the same, and I feel a hell of a lot better about my safety and my car. read more

Rafi is the best. I've been coming to this mechanic shop for years...ever since her wonderful father, Razi, ran the shop. RIP Razi! Rafi is honest, caring, diligent, and knowledgeable...just like her pops was. I drive all the way from Temecula to Chino to get my cars worked on here, because honest mechanics are that hard to find! I have met customers in the shop that travel from as far away as Las Vegas just to come here. If you want a great mechanic at very reasonable prices, this is the place! read more

This is my Fourth time coming here to this business for my 2013 Toyota Prius. Their prices is much more less expensive than Toyota Dealership at John Elway's TOYOTA of Ontario. Very honest and trustworthy when it comes to their business. Rifah is very knowledgeable in all areas of cars for being as young she is and i learned a great deal of information from her myself. She's highly intelligent! Always smiles when she greets her customers when they walk into the business. Her smile is contagious and shows she cares about the business and her customers....... Highly recommend anyone to bring their cars in and you'll be glad you did. Very professional and fast in getting the job done in a timely manner.
