Needed to get my Dodge Charger fixed. Had an issue with the heat coolant line and so I was recommended by some colleagues to come see Eric here at Chino Auto Tech. I'm super glad I did. It is very hard to find an honest trustworthy mechanic that you can trust. This shop has great mechanics that know what they are doing with your car, won't upsell you on things you don't need and will give you a fair price. I needed some major work done on my car but Eric was able to do a "temporary fix" until I get enough money to fully fix my issue. This shop has been here for almost 40 years. Family owned and a trusted mechanic shop in the community. Their lobby is super clean, comfortable and modern. You could chill here the entire time if you needed be to do work on your laptop, get a snack in their vending machine, grab some coffee and watch TV. They were so efficient they had my car ready in half a day. And a BONUS: They provided me a ride to and from work so I didn't need to get my own Uber or bother a friend or family member to pick me up and drop me off. Chino Autotech arranged my ride. Will definitely be back to get my car full fixed when it is time! read more

My experience at Chino AutoTech has been excellent. Not only have they priced the work fairly, they keep their word about how long the work takes. They also have a pleasant waiting area with water and coffee available. The employees Erick and Kyle are helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Chino Auto Tech deserves a 5 star review because they are very customer oriented. They are excellent communicators when describing the auto's problem(s), how it will be repaired, when the repair will be completed, and the total cost of the repair. The AAA member discount and the complimentary LYFT service are added additional perks. The owner(s) and employees are friendly, polite, and accommodating. Highly recommend read more

This business was referred by my husband's co worker. My car's AC had issues, they were able to make it work the first time I brought it. But they wanted to ensure nothing was leaking. When they determined that nothing was leaking, they wanted to further investigate because the AC is still not functioning 100%. But they couldn't find anything when they inspected. They didn't charge me for that. Most auto shops charge you for anything or will try to find something to charge you for. Also, customer service is great. Kyle and Eric are honest and kind. I highly recommend this place. read more

I took my car in as it was making a squeaky sound seems to be coming from the front end; after two days, the shop called me to pick up the car. while driving home, the car was pulling to the right, which it didn't when I took it in. So instead of fixing the problem, they created new problems....I don't know if this is incompetency or dishonesty. in either case, diffidently, I'm not coming back, neither should any reasonable person!! read more

Chino Autotech has been very honest and have done major work on my old Acura. They fix it right and follow up to make sure you are happy with their work. If your looking for an honest auto mechanic shop look no further. They are straight forward and awesome to do business with.

Amazing service! Couldn't be happier. Last month my battery died on me on the freeway and I was able to my car towed through AAA to chino autotech immediately and got my new battery installed very fast. I've been having other car issues for a while, I have an old Toyota that has over 200K miles on it. I dropped it off this week to have them do some repairs and not only were they speedy getting this work done, they also were very thorough and honest about what needed to be done now and what could wait a little bit while I save up some money. My spark plugs were replaced and as well as receiving an oilchange and they checked for a fuel leak which was not found thank goodness. Erik, Andy, and Erik's dad were so helpful, kind and friendly. Their prices were very reasonable compared to a lot of other shops in the area. It's so important to have a kind and honest mechanic. I will be referring all my friends and family to get their cars serviced at Chino Autotech. Thanks again!! read more

My engine light was on for the longest time after engine diagnosis I needed an oxygen sensor and recommended the alternator replaced. Also had a smog check done. Service advisors Andie and Eric very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Explained to me the parts they going to use and warranty that's included. After getting my 22 year old Suburban repaired it definitely runs smoother. This shop has been around over two decades had gotten work done here before I believe their long time mechanic took over the business. It's the same great service ,warranty and is AAA approved. Prices are fair and competitive less than dealers of course. Will definitely get major repairs and maintenance done here. Highly recommended. read more

Quick and accurate diagnosis, drop my car, fix then pick up the next day. Very satisfied. Reasonable price, over all very good service. Will definitely visit later for regular maintenance too, cuz car brand dealer's maintenance service and diagnostic and fixing were charging like crazy prices. read more

Finally tired of high dealer maintenance costs for our 07 Honda Pilot, came here for continued service. Prices are reasonable and the staff is caring and friendly. We are leaving the area and our first "car warming" gift was a free quart of oil on our way out of state. A sweet gesture that is appreciated in this crazy, pandemic world. Thanks Jim to you and your staff. Because of good folks like you who thrive in Customer Service, many will continue to flock your doors for great auto mechanic service at a good price here in our great little city of Chino, CA. Will miss you guys! Thanks for everything! read more

One of the most reliable automotive diagnostic and repair businesses in the area. I have referred my sister, two brothers, my mom and a couple of friends. Even when their vehicles had difficult problems that couldn't be diagnosed correctly by their usual mechanics, Chino Autotech came through every time. I first took my own car there in 1987 shortly after the business first opened. It's still being run by the same owner, who has always been a top-notch professional and very knowledgeable in diagnostics and repair. Whenever I've taken my car to them, and every time I've referred others, they have always proved that I made the right choice. read more

I was recommended to Chino Autotech and brought in my SUV for repairs. The service needed was very tedious and required skill and time to perform and finish. The work was not only done extremely well, it was hundreds below that which was quoted to me by a dealership. I took my vehicle here to replace the alternator. Jan and Jim attended me wonderfully from the front office. Jan made it extremely clear what they would do to the vehicle to be sure there were no other problems and she made clear any costs involved.
