Upsetting experience with Orel Hershiser Chevrolet (formerly MK Smith Chevrolet). I purchased my 2025 truck only 6 months ago, and trying to get help has been extremely frustrating. I called multiple times throughout the week and never received a return call. Since no one responded, I finally stopped by in person, only to be told to come back Monday. As I was leaving, an employee named Charles knocked on my window. After I explained how upset I was that no one would return my calls, he asked, "Why don't you just trade it in and get rid of the problems?" Keep in mind, this is a 2025 truck that I just purchased. He then told me to call him if I wanted to "downgrade." The whole interaction felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive instead of actually helping resolve the issue. Where to begin!!! This dealership is probably the most grimiest of all dealerships. Went in a few weeks ago to purchase a Z06. After inspecting the vehicle they were trying to sell, it had numerous body alignment issues it was quite embarrassing . Walked out as the vehicle was not what I wanted . Received a call today for a Z06 they received with a listed msrp of 123k and change. After asking for an out the door price, they were trying to sell it for 138k!! Ridiculous as these vehicles are not selling and going down in price. They text me a few hours later and then tell me the best they can do is 130k. Unreal. I then received another call and told the best they can do is 126k. How do you start at 138k out the door and end up at 126k? Yeah, we're not being greedy..... I've visited numerous dealerships. This is by far the greediest and grimiest of them all. DO NOT COME HERE TO PURCHASE A CHEVROLET!!! THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND MAKE YOU FEEL YOU ARE GETTING A DEAL OF A LIFETIME. From the second I got into contact with him, he was absolutely welcoming, enthusiastic, and excited to work with me on getting the truck I wanted. I'm as picky as it gets when it comes to asking for pictures, different specs, etc etc. and not one time did Ivan show any signs of frustration, attitude, or any of the sort. He did everything with a smile on his face and was more than happy to help out. I appreciated his patience as we negotiated the deal, helping me in any which way get the best price available for me and going back over to his GM to verify everything and make sure we are all on the same page and happy with the deal. Both were very helpful and genuine. I have been a Dodger fan my whole life, so it was an honor to meet Orel. Took a look at a beautiful Corvette in the showroom, a Pre Owned Toyota Tacoma and Chevrolet Colorado. Test drove the Tacoma, and spoke to Jose in length about the truck, and various other Chevrolet models. At no time did I feel like he was rushing me, or that I was wasting his time. Do not take your vehicle here for any heavy mechanic work. They had my truck for four weeks and did not perform any repairs. The original estimate was two weeks. After four weeks I picked up my truck with a lifter tick and towed it somewhere else. Their heavy line repairs take months. read more

MKsmith Chevrolet in chino central Ave sucks i've been going there for many years and the head Mechanic was Gary they ruined my truck I am very disappointed I brought my car in the first time my Chevy 2005 Chevy Silverado. cause it was making a noise the steering wheel and the front so I brought it in and they told me it's the right opinion needs to be changed and I always bring it to the dealer because I like original parts and you of course, because that's what dealer does and then Gary called me and said that the mechanic wants me to come back to show him where the noise is coming from I was like suspicious because if the mechanic doesn't know where the noise is coming I didn't understand he's a mechanic and he doesn't know he's asking me to go down there to the dealer to show him where the noise is coming from anyway I went down there he said okay I showed them he wrote in the truck with me and I showed them where the noise was from and then they told me that the opinion needs to be changed. They changed it. They called me back that the car is done I went to take it and it was worse. It was making noise and shaking every time I turn the steering wheel left or right and then I took the car back and they told me oh maybe the rack opinion is the defected. They kept the car again for another week and they changed the rack opinion again I guess they said they kept telling me stories anyway now Gary is telling me that the Wikipedia they put is an old one it's refurbished. How am I paying all that money to come to the dealer to get a original part and new part? That's what the dealers are for and they're putting a refurbished rack opinion what I'm thinking it took three weeks what they're doing they're taking my opinion the original one and taking it to refurbished then bringing it back and they're using my opinion to refurbish it and putting it back and another thing the major thing is why was why was I not informed before they put a refurbished Wikipedia why didn't they tell me that they called me and said hey Maral we can't find a new rack opinion would you be okay with a refurbished one? They just put it without asking me so now I want my opinion the original one back on my car and I want my bunny back. read more

Took my car in for an oil change and they had it for 3 days and never did an oil change. They said I brought it in for an oil leak. I made an appointment for an oil change. I asked them to check because it was leaking a little bit of oil then they called me to tell me there was no leak that it was just residual from the last oil change Then I called them and they didn't even care at all and so rude. I never leave a bad review but ... First of All, All staff were nice and polite except Sales Manager - Rafael Huerta I leased a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV last Sept. (before Tax Credits end) The deal we negotiated did not include tax credit and asked me to claimed it when filing tax return; However, they did not file "time-of-sales report" to IRS, so my tax form was rejected. I went to the dealership again to seek some assistance, every staff was helpful until Rafael showed up, He insisted that he only do it when the deal is purchasing (which is not true based on GM official announcements) and he even tried to fool me with residual adjustment from bank (leasing company) to absorb the tax credit and all sort of excuses, when I tried to correct him and asked for his business card, he just turned around and walked away, very rude and unprofessional. Later, the staff told me that he (sales manager) was the one who supposed to file "time-of-sales report" to IRS before financing dept. finalized the deal I have been with MK Smith Chevrolet since 2016, but with this kind of attitude and service, I will not go back or recommend this business to others ever again read more
