Top Alignment was recommended to me by Discount Tires in Montclair on Central. I called and Mathew gave me a very reasonable quote for the front end A arm bushings for a 1999 Chevy Dually. I told him I'd be back when I got my tax return. Two months later I told him I was ready to go. He scheduled an appointment and finished the truck in 2 days like he said he would. I paid the price I was quoted and not a penny more. I found out later that the parts prices were a little more than he originally estimated, and he also had to spend more labor hours on the truck. Trying be fair and compensate him a little for the unforeseen cost, I tried to give him a tip. He wouldn't have it then he told me "they don't accept tips" I about fell over. This kind of integrity from anyone now a days is completely unheard of. The truck rides like new. I called ahead to confirm that this shop performs alignments on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and I was told yes--so I made the trip and brought my van in. When I arrived, the front desk experience was immediately off. When I asked about pricing, I was met with an unprofessional response: "Didn't you already get a quote over the phone?" I simply wanted to confirm details in person and ask if anything additional might be needed. Shortly after, a technician took my van for a quick drive--literally about two minutes--then came back and said they couldn't do anything because the van has a 2-inch factory lift. This didn't make sense to me, considering the vehicle comes that way from the factory and other alignment shops are able to work on it without issue. It honestly felt like a cop-out excuse to avoid doing the work. If this shop isn't equipped or willing to align Sprinter vans with factory specs, that should have been communicated clearly before I took time out of my day to bring it in. Overall, this was a frustrating experience due to poor communication and lack of professionalism. I would recommend they be more upfront with customers about their capabilities and improve how they interact with people in person. read more

After taking my dad's truck to another alignment business, they informed me they could not do the alignment without buying alignment pins. I took the truck to Matt at Top Alignment as I heard he does great work from a coworker. I hit a pot-hole recently and didn't drive the car for 2 days immediately after that and when I went to drive it the tire pressure sensor came on. I filled it with air and drove off, but could hear a whooping noise that didn't sound normal. I took it to a tire shop and they inspected the wheels and the one with low air had a noticeably bent wheel. I got that repaired and added new tires, but could still hear a noise that didn't sound normal. I made an appointment with the dealership to get an alignment done on my day off and also searched on Yelp for local shops (I was in the I.E.) and Top Alignment showed up. I called and was quoted $100 and said I'd be over. For context, the dealership was charging $159.95 and offered a $30 coupon which brought the price down to $129.95 which was still more expensive. After reading their reviews and getting a quote, I cancelled my appointment with the dealership (which was in 20 minutes) and drove straight here. They are located in Ontario, off Central, closer to the 60 freeway and on the border of Chino. I walked into the office and was greeted by B and she took down my information and asked if I had been given a quote already and I said yes. Gave her my key and waited in the small lobby. The lobby was nice and clean and had comfy/modern chairs and a nice flat screen TV at eye level with the chairs. I will say, it was raining and cold today so once I opened the door it was a toasty 75 degrees. I almost considered standing outside in 49 degree weather, but I adjusted. I had no idea how long it would take and was willing to wait hours for the service, but I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. Had I gone to the dealership, I know they would've taken 20 minutes to check me in and then I'd probably wait another hour to two hours for them to do the alighnment. So glad I took a chance and brought my car here instead. Jeremiah and the crew confirmed that my car needed an alignment and B provided me with paperwork showing my before and after measurements. I drove home to Fullerton immediately after and could hear the difference. No more whooping noise and the car felt more steady. I got a $5 discount for writing a quick review and posting it to Yelp, but I went home and wrote a proper one later. Thank you to the crew at Top Alignment. I purchased new tires at Americas Tires and thought it would be a good idea to check the alignment to protect my tire investment. My Tacoma only has forty thousand miles and drove just fine. I knew the average price for an alignment is less than $100. The employee at the tire shop referred me to Top Alignment and after seeing the great reviews I went there the next morning. The people there are friendly and never figured I would be ripped off. It's a first come first serve and when I arrived no one was there for service which should have been a clue. I partially blame myself for not asking how much the alignment would be. I even pulled up dealer coupons at Longo and Envision Toyota that were less expensive than the $150 I paid for the fifteen minutes it took to complete. Even Americas Tires that have an alignment rack only charge $89.99. I called Tucker Tires in Covina and said they charge $75 but they are booked up several days. When advised of the charge I said I felt it was extremely high and she offered to lower the price by $20 for me. I felt it was a condescending offer and said it was not necessary. This is not a place I would ever return to and recommend that anyone who comes here call and ask for estimates before coming here. Also compare at other alignment shops. I now believe that some employees at Americas Tires in Chino Hills must get kick backs for referrals. Otherwise why not refer to other Americas Tire locations that do offer alignment services for less including the one in Chino which is nearby. read more

This place charges $250 for a basic alignment on Tesla brand models. Stay clear away from alignment shops that charge a premium on certain types of makes that have stock suspension. Went in for alignment. They brought my car onto the rack a couple times to sort it out. When they were bringing the car back I heard my turbo scream and my exhaust valves open. It takes a bit of load to have the car open the valves and have the turbo scream like that. We're all car guys but it's not cool when you're doing a pull in my car without permission. Matthew took a look at it as soon as I came without calling, showed him a video from the dealership about what needed to be done, said he could do it. Got a quote for ~$2200 including labor. Scheduled an appointment and took it in the following week. It was done in about 4 hours. Small hiccup but things happen and it was fixed. Left paying $~2000 in total, alignment was $100.
